Player of the Tournament Nico Williams - I don't think any players emerged as a new superstar this tournament, but for me Nico Williams is everything a winger should be - fast, direct and can score goals. And performed at a consistently high level. Most Disappointing Team Italy - I thought that they're a really poor team now. Especially as they were the previous champions. Surprise Package No one comes to mind - maybe Georgia as they gave it a real go. Best Individual Team Performance Again no one really springs to mind. Hang on, Austria 3 - 2 Netherlands. So Austria there. Match of the Tournament Spain 2 - 1 Germany Goal of the Tournament Olly Watkins vs the Dutch Team of the Tournament Can't think. But some players that stood out for me were Nico Williams, Fabian Ruiz and Pedri of Spain. Also Florian Wirtz of Germany. Cole Palmer too, when he was on the pitch.

I think under Southgate England aren't a team that are going to pressurise opponents with attacking football. So even if the Spanish were a bit vulnerable at times England weren't going to make them pay. I certainly think he's made some bad tactical decisions. Anyway, for me Spain were deserving winners throughout the tournament. So am pleased for them, but obviously wished England had been a bit more adventurous and gone and won it.

Mbappe is a match winner though. I think in Finals, players like that become more important, as that's basically why they're viewed as being so great. That's what basically swung it for me. As he's done it in recent Finals.

Tough one this. Really like Paul's wingers, but had to go with Gunman due to Mbappe. I think if Paul had Mitrovic up front instead of Felix I might have voted for him. But good luck to both.

I think you're underrating JDs team a bit there. He's got some very good players. I think this one will be neck and neck.

I think JD egdes it for me as I think its a better balanced team overall. Close though.

I think this may be a comfortable win for Spain as I just think that if they can get an early goal, France don't have the attacking threat to come back from that.

Spain vs England for me.

Wow the first game especially, was very difficult to call. Ultimately I went with SCR as I think his midfield maybe makes the difference. But Scott has a really good team there. So I would expect this to be close. Similar in the 2nd game too. Very close call. But chose Paul, purely because of his wingers.

I'd just like to see England have a go and do something. I don't really want to see them bore their way to victory, and I do think there's time for things just to click. I think going 3 at the back would be good if it means John Stones can get forward more. Reminds me a bit of Italia 90 this. And things really did just click then after an awful start to the competition.

I think this is where Gunman having Mbappe makes the difference. So went with Gunman there. And JD in the second as he's got a well balanced team, and probably just sneaks it there I think.

Romania got to be the worst team in the last 16.

They could be anything on this showing.

The build up play seems to slow down a bit too much for the Dutch. I think that's because there's no outlet up front. They've got lots of good players out there. Just need someone to help them I think.

I think the Dutch really lack a player who can bully the defenders.

I quite like the camera angle. Makes the crowd feel more imposing.

I think the Dutch really need a centre forward. So much possession, but there's no one to finish things off. Should be out of sight by now.

If I take England out of the equation then I'd like to see Germany win the Cup. Just like seeing them do well. Spain would be deserving champions, so far anyway. So wouldn't be against them winning it either.
