[Scouting/scouting knowledge]

To add to the above question. I've been browsing national teams U21 teams looking for bargains, and obviously not many to be had who aren't signed up by big clubs already. But what's most annoying is that the club can show as a lower league side, you then click on the player and it shows "on loan from *big team*". I've looked to add a column showing parent club or transfer status on loan, something to indicate that isn't their parent club, but can't see anything useful. There must be a way to highlight this somehow surely?

[FM Touch- Scouting assignments/attribute masking]

Realise this isn't the Touch thread but that appears to be pretty inactive so hoped people could help here. Playing FM for first time since FM2015. Finding the new full game too complex now so decided to play Touch instead and liking that, but am unsure about scouting on it.

There is no scouting knowledge it appears, so what exactly does scouting assignments do on FM touch? Does it just bring to your attention existing players, or actually find new lesser known players? And how to go about setting scouting assignments when there's no existing scouting knowledge shown.

I notice there's no attribute masking setting for Touch so all players have fully known stats, which is a bit disappointing as I thought they could have made that optional. I've just now bought that for a quid in the steam store (clicking install once purchased did nothing) as found it was available, but not finding any difference, for existing or new saves. Can't see an option to enable masking on starting a new game, or anything in preferences, and no players seem to have attributes masked. How the heck do we enable this please??

Thanks. Never tried using mods before though on FM. Can't they cause issues with crashing?

EDIT: Just noticed attibute masking is available for a quid in DLC lol, anything for money eh. Does that work fine?

Hadn't played since FM2015, but decided to get FM2021 recently on sale. Bought the full game but decided to try the Touch version for now, because I've read it cuts out press conferences which I never liked anyway and some other unnecessary extras..

Liking it so far, but only annoyance seems to be no visible scouting knowledge shown for scouts and no overall scouting knowledge. Therefore I'm not sure how I should go about setting scouting assignments, and how effective they will be. I can't even seem able to view my other scouts stats, only the head scout (is there a way?).

Any advice with this? Thanks.

I've just started a game on FM2021 for first time since Fm2015, decided I'd give it a go with the option of Touch making things more simplified now.

I'm coping ok so far on most things apart from the matchday UI. It feels incredibly frustrating as there seems hardly any features anymore. Where is: the time bar to rewind to see highlights; tables and other current scores elsewhere ongoing, a simple display of both teams full matchday squads (starting 11, subs and their ratings). Those were always in simple different tabs before and now I can't find them anywhere. Even making subs seems more difficult now.

And I checked a quick youtube video and it seems that the full game is no different with matchday UI either? Why have they changed it so much, and how can I find those features now?

I guess this is a "stupid" question, not really related to training and tactics but not sure where else to post it.

Simply, how do I watch other matches? By that I mean the world cup final, FA Cup final etc, or even a match where you want to see how a transfer target plays.

You used to be able and im sure you still can, but it seems a different way to do it now.

Hi guys this schedule sounds good but im having problems downloading it. Well I can download it but can't seem to be able to open the file and import it into FM.

Have scanned the thread and can't actually see any info on how to import the schedules. Any help would be appreciated.
