  1. it's possible to duplicate (at least) draft rounds by clicking those minuses, which are meant to declare a draft round not available for the trade.

The case below was response to AI's trade offer. It contained two draft rounds, but by clicking the minus to make it not available, I managed to duplicate one draft round and the another one was "removed" from the offer table.

Addition: Ok, this was the original offer. It seems, that if there are two picks for the same year and round, the original pick holder in parentheses is neglected and (alphabetically?) the first pick is replaced by the acquired draft round.

  2. On 30th June, the salary count suddenly jumps noticeably. At least trading is affected, as can be seen from the screenshot. Probably some contracts are summed twice?

This occurs only 30th June, On 1st July salaries were again calculated normally, around $80 miliion as it should be. A minor issue, but may cancel some trades as suddenly there's no room in the cap when the decision is to be made by AI.

And another minor one not worth a separate topic. About the news item that states in the topic "...Teams will draft eligible players in reverse order of this season's standings". I'd say this ain't a fully accurate description as the draft lottery is involved and could alter the draft order.

  3. The news item claims NHL rights will expire after 1.6.2022., but player's information screen says expiry date is 1.8. Currently the game date is July 4th 2022 and Detroit still holds NHL rights. Therefore I'd say the news item information should be adjusted to match the month stated in the Information screen?

By the way, it's interesting Detroit is listed twice as an interested club :)

Addition: The news item was displayed in message box on 2.7.2022 EVE, if it helps to debug the issue. Added a clip below.

  4. Detroit ain't a strong Stanley Cup contender, I know, but still 16 year old junior players "thinking" being capable to break into squad is amusing. And what can be said about an agent suggesting such a career move? Even the player would be a supertalent of the century, the agent does not seem to know NHL clubs cannot sign junior aged players...

A brand new season, TBL rosters. EHM 1.5 Beta.

  5. I wrote these suggestions European leagues in mind.

    1. More active agents

Agents should be more eager to offer their clients to clubs. If their client is on last year of contract, the agent should be making inquiries to other clubs if they're interested to start a bidding war.

    2. A chance to sign a pre-contract with a European player (earlier than now)

In reality an European club has often signed pre-contracts with European players ~6 months before their current contract is ended. EHM should also allow a club to sign pre-contracts earlier than is currently possible.

    3. Option to force the best faceoffs guy to take faceoffs

Often the PK lines created by the assistant coach put a winger to handle faceoffs. This leads to many lost defensive faceoffs, if you don't remember to check the lineup by yourself. There should be an option to have a best faceoffs guy to handle faceoffs, no matter if the player would be a defender . Also, a chance to put your best faceoffs guy to take the critical faceoffs would be nice.

Thanks riz and SI guys for a great game!
