FM 25 DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
Bunkerossian replied to OmnissiahMasteR's topic in Football Manager General Discussion
Delays are fine, I think some previous games should have been delayed. But completely tossing out international football is not fine. It's not a minor feature like Create a Club. -
I've had long-standing issues with my FM saves. My tactics don't work right from the outset. I believe it might be due to me being confused about which tactical direction to take. Could people suggest teams which have a squad rigidly tailored to particular playing style, and not too many alternatives?

I have a 16 year-old with potential, but certainly not the Jumping Reach and Strength I need to fix my issues.

I am playing as Real Betis, and I have 5 million pounds available for transfers. Which centre backs could people recommend? I tried Jeisson Quinones, but he had signed a contract recently, and declined talks. I could also do with a rotation CF instead of Bakambu. If possible the CB and CF suggestions should be good in the air. I have a fairly short squad.

I didn't like Slovakian players exaggerating the effects of fouls suffered. Happened a lot in the second half. But they defended tenaciously. Kucka and Pekarik should be retired when looking at age alone, yet played well, Kucka in particular broke up Belgian attacks like possessed. A certain legend of Real Madrid and a DMF playing in Saudi Arabia should feel ashamed two relative "no-marks" showed more fight than them.

Scotland is my pick. I'm really impressed by Steve Clarke as a tactician. Unassuming manager, but gets the basics right often.

Scottish Premiership Data [Discussion]
Bunkerossian commented on Kyle Brown's issue in Scotland Data Issues
Iwata should be closer to Maeda's Pace/Acceleration, because he clocked a top speed in Japan which was faster than Maeda's. I understand Iwata may have gotten rusty because he hasn't played much, but he is provenly quicker than what the beta attributes say. https://keepup.com.au/news/what-can-celtic-fans-expect-from-j1-league-mvp-tomoki-iwata/ Also, Tilio is an Inverted Winger/inside Forward on the right, but in the beta, he is completely ineffectual on the right side of the attack. -
So, everything is sped up, and made more sensible? Finally. I wish it had been prioritized in the previous 2 games, but I'll stop complaining, and declare that I'll be having myself a pre-ordered copy. It would take me ages to get into a save because of having to do set pieces for every side, defensive and offensive- so many indirect set piece variants... and now, it can be much quicker. I will be much more eager to pick up a save, even if my tactics ruin every attempt.

J-League is in the upcoming game? Well, unless the set piece overhaul is so minor I get angry, I'll buy my first FM since 21. I do hope the set pieces will be player-oriented instead of focusing on the position in a formation- that's the kind of overhaul set pieces have needed.

I've been trying to figure out a good away approach for games against top EPL clubs with Tottenham, but no matter what I try, I cannot at least be competitive in an away tie against Arsenal, at the start of the season. If I want to have some success. I've had issues defending set pieces, and even after adjustments, I've had issues there. This is why I've tried my usual set-up. I'm aware that a high D-Line or a high press are even riskier. This screenshot is before the first game of the season, which I most often win because I'm the home side. Is there a tactical solution to help me perform better when away from home, or is the problem in my players? Due to the need to mind the number of homegrown players at the club, and the price tags of players that would improve the team, I am pretty much using a squad that hasn't seen any fresh faces.

cinch Premiership Data discussion

I'd make a case for Maeda being fairly two-footed as well. His technique has improved, and he is able to send rather useful crosses with his left foot. -
Rate the 2022 World Cup out of 10
Bunkerossian replied to Baptista_8's topic in 2022 World Cup Forum
6/10. Human rights scandals, the dull atmosphere...but there were great upsets in the group stages. Knockouts were not as enjoyable, and the refereeing was so weird that I ended up believing in conspiracies. If it wasn't for Japan and Korea in the group stages and Croatia stunning Brazil, it would be a 2. -
SF1: Argentina vs Croatia, 7PM GMT, Lusail Iconic Stadium

The opposite. The midfield will struggle, but hoofball out to Perišić might work.
