Hi there. I've been trying to figure out VAR for a few days now, and finally managed it (another thanks to Wolf too). I've been able to successfully remove VAR from (I think) every possible competition English teams can play in, including European comps. Goal-line tech remains. The only exception is the Club World Cup because it was failing the rules test, however I'm not certain it uses VAR anyway. Hopefully it's useful for you. The file is for what suits me, I don't manage international teams, so I've not tinkered with World Cup and European Championship stuff etc. No VAR.fmf

Going to need a fool proof step by step I think. It sounds like it was the comp info one I changed but I'm not certain. -
First time I've used pre-game editor but I think I've done it correctly, but VAR remains in-game. I'm fed up of it in real life, don't need it here too. I've included the database file if anyone is kind enough to check if I've done it properly, all I did was changed Prem VAR setting to 'No VAR', and 'saved database as'. VAR still shows in Technology Rules in Premier League info section (new career with database selected), and I holidayed through to first match of the season and VAR was used twice, screenshots provided (2nd & 3rd goals). nopremvar.fmf

Looking for a hero to remove VAR from any possible competition an English club can play in. I tried myself in pre-game editor and made a new game to test it out, but VAR still being listed in Premier League rules, not sure if it's a bug or I did it wrong. Competitions: English Prem, FA Cup / League Cup. European comps like Champs League, Europa League and Conference League. Plus World Club Cup & Super Cup if applicable.
