  1. That is not the point, of course we all want a good/better product, this point starting with SI. The issue is the public publicity about November 26th, opening pre-orders, and a few days later "Aahhhhh we're sorry, we are delayed and we'll get back in march". This is at the best level amateur planning, amateur communication, amateur all aspects. But, as people say in my village, "enough of spanking the blind man"
  2. Just a little out of the box thought and, if possible, I would ask for a contribution from the mods, but wouldn't have made sense for Football Manager evolve several aspects of the game that over the years seemed to be almost irrelevant? I mean, even more than some ME features being missing such as referee mistakes and penalty fouls made Goal-Keepers, the focus of the game as always been transfers, tactics and ME, as, for example, training as always seemed to be a poor relative of the game, or even manager / players interaction or the role of FIFA agents.
  3. Okay, it is delayed, move along people, there's nothing to do about it. What is lacking is more clarification by SI, we have all read the the post regardind the delaying, we can all believe in good spirit in the apologies, that is not even the point. You (SI) cannot just open pre-orders, announce November 26th and a few days later kick fm25 until March and go silence until late January (at least).
  4. I think it is precisely the other way around: they should update fm24 because I don't think people are willing to buy fm25. No matter fm25 will be an excellent transition of the worst, SI will have to deliver something until march 2025, so it does not matter if fm25 will be ready or not.
  5. I feel fm25 and fm26 will be a fm25 in two parts, fm25.1 and fm25.2. I hope SI won't release both asking 50€ for each.
  6. Data updates can be done with the editor. SI releasing a fm24 update I do not think it is possible, since all resources would be allocated to delivering fm25 in March (and fm26 in November???), so we will have to live with what we have and that is fm24. Let's see if next January we won't have an announcement canceling fm25.
  7. I don't have a problem with fm25 being released in march, I have pre-ordered it and I will stick with it. What I found a problem is SI not clarifying this delay and the potential impact on the release of fm26. We have been asked for 50€ for years every year, I hope SI won't ask for 100€ with 6 months difference.
  8. So, people will be buying fm25 in March and fm26 in November ???
  9. No problem with the delay, better to have more time and deliver a better product. Remains the question about the planning that made SI to announce fm25 would be released from end of the November.
  10. The closed beta was an excellent oportunity to report potential bugs
  11. - Improved ME (a must every new edition) and new features such as GK making a penalty, referees making mistakes (is it or is it not a real life simulator?) _ Different tactical mindset: eliminate close down less / more and set different closing down options; tactical structure based on the moments of the match (organisation, transition, both defensive and offensive) also allowing different player roles whenever the team has the ball or not - Fix league calendar draw
  12. Just experienced the new EA FC25 and my conclusion is... thank you Sports Interactive for giving us football manager
  13. Anyone has a file or can create one to apply league rules for the league draft? Portuguese league.
  14. Monday, 30th september, you have read it first here.
  15. A little help...I know it is possible to use files to change the most leagues starting date, but is there a way or a file to correctly apply the league draw/calendar rules?
  16. Is it possible to apply for a closed beta tester position ?
  17. That is also what has been missing for years, just an instruction for pressing intensity is very poor
  18. That is precisely what i have been asking for in the new features forum. Instructions options should be attached to defensive and attacking both transition and organization.
  19. Options should not be shut down, meaning why wouldn't I be able (ir AI managers) to lead a Middle table team to win titles? This is precisely how managers build their careers, doing and achieving more with less
  20. Thank you, i am hoping tactical instructions will be revamped and also some new features such as Goalkeepers making a penalty
  21. Is it known if fm25 changes are all about 3d me, or also tactical instructions changes?
  22. Posted something like this 1 or 2 years ago, not with such detail as this (excellent effort ). The tactical setup lacks options with and without the ball (defensive transition and organization; offensive transition and organization), as you posted, options that also could be linked with player roles and duties, as also lacks options regarding pressing.
