  1. I am looking for some clarafication regarding the difference in players wages and salary commitments.  I manage a semi pro side with a wage budget of £80p/w.  I see appearence fees which I class as their weekly(on a match by match basis) fee.  Yet, I goto salary commitments and I see the same players who are to be paid a fee outside of what their contract states.

All you have to do is start any game and look at the difference. I do not feel I need to upload my save as you should notice it at any semi pro side.

My 'star' striker is on a non-contract, his Appearance fee is £40, Goal bonus is £6 and Unused sub fee is £2.  I open my salary commitments and I find the club is handing him £5 a week.

Call me Scrouge but something does not add up as this £5p/w is not mentioned in his or any of my other players contracts.

  2. Tbf there are alot of variants with i5 processors and in my eyes its a moderate processor that is abit hit or miss depending on which 1 you ended up with.  Id recommended alot of things you could do but unfortunatly for you Im a PC tech. A fresh SSD as above sounds like a good idea but id have 1 that only holds FM so dont pay over the odds for all that extra space when you only need it for FM20.  An SSD tho opens up another can of problems but thats maybe something for another thread.

  3. Hey,

Ive been playing mainly in the Northern Ireland leagues for many a year so much so that when i join a bigger league i just want to go back.  The problem with down here is that unless your Linfield your not gonna develop your players that much.  The best bit of advice that I can offer is that the players are 90% non-contract which means every few months you can renegotate their contracts & 9 times out of ten you can put them on a lesser contract thus increasing the coffers.  Your on your way once you qualify for europe tho.  The cash injection is great!  I usually start with Newington YC, they dont even own their own stadium so its abit of a long term save :)

  4. In my experience and as a seasoned LLMer youve gone with a system that gets you up so with the new season you lose certain players and staff which makes you lose your way. Its tempting with the new season and the optimism to go with the kids but you need league experienced players by the sounds of it.  Maybe 10 seems abit excessive.
