Transfer Deadline Day is the least favourite part of the game for me. I have the continue timeout option set to instant, but this doesn't work on deadline day because I get so many offers for my players. I literally have to click continue every 15 in-game minutes to progress the game.
I often try to circumvent this by just holidaying by a day, but if I have a match later that day, or a CL squad registration, then I just have to put up with all the deadline offers until the match or registration is completed.
As far as I'm concerned, buying clubs setting a deadline shouldn't have to lock me into accepting/rejecting their offer. It should simply mean that the offer is no longer valid if I don't accept it in time.
I get all my transfers done well ahead of deadline day, so it really is annoying to have to deal with this.

You have attribute masking for players and staff outside of your club, included as an option at the start of every career. I like this for the additional realism added into the game, though I do often like to play careers without this option for an easier time of it.
However, I think it would be even more realistic if there was another option to include attribute masking for players and staff at your own club.
When you first take over a club, even ones with a low reputation, all the attributes of all your players are perfectly spelled out for you. Also, if you sign a player with no attributes shown before he joins, all of a sudden you have the full list of attributes the moment he does sign. For me this doesn't accurately reflect how things would work in real life.
I think there should be an attribute masking for players at your own club and the longer they play for you, the more attributes are shown. Players who play more games, either first team or reserves, will have their attributes shown at a quicker rate than those not playing at all.
I think this will make intra-club friendlies more meaningful when you first take over, as you'll get an immediate boost in understanding of your players' attributes.
The coaches can also give you an insight into the players' attributes, but as they all have differing levels of "judging player ability" levels, and they've all been at the club for different amounts of time, they will all give you slightly different opinions. So rather than all the attributes for long-serving players be completely blank, they'll instead have a range (e.g. 12-17 finishing) as soon as you join. However, un-scouted and unknown new arrivals should arrive with all/most of their attributes blank.
I just think this would be a cool challenge for those (like myself) who'd like to take on a more realistic interpretation of football management.
As said before, if this is implemented into future games, this should purely be an optional feature.

You should be able to check on the Promises page to see how long you have to meet that promise.
Yeah that's the thing, his promise isn't listed on there yet as he doesn't join the club for another couple months.

Hi all, just a quick question....it's currently May in my save and there's still a couple games to go, but because the board have already set my budgets for the season, I decided to sign a player that will probably be the best player on my team. Only thing is that he wants me to improve my defence as part of the agreement.
I'm quite happy to do so, but as he doesn't join until 1st July, I just wondered if I need to wait until after 1st July to sign the defenders, or can I do so now (who will also join 1st July) for it to appease him?

Hi all. Unfortunately the 50% zoom option is no longer present on purpose. This was an unsupported zoom level and should not have been available in game.
In regards to the screen size icons, I believe they scale depending on the monitor size.
Why did they make the minimum screen size so big?
I didn't play FM20, but on FM19, 85% was good for me. This is my squad screen on FM19 on 85%:
Back then, the screen size was nice, classy, and I could see my whole first team squad on one page.
And this is my squad screen on FM21 at 85%, with the exact same number of players in my first team squad (22):
Looks horrible, clunky, and I have to scroll to see my whole squad.
Pretty much all of my screens at 85% in FM21 I have to scroll to see anything.
Is there anything I can do to resolve, because it has reduced my enjoyment of the game massively. 50% was working well for me until it was removed.

And btw, seems my game is slightly different to the OP's, because I have six options in total, though the other three options are 110%, 125% and 150%

I literally came on here to report this issue, but see you already did so.
Please, I need the 50% scaling back, because I genuinely can't enjoy playing the game anymore.
Makes no sense that they just completely removed this option with the update! Like....why?

First thing I did when the game loaded was to change to "Windowed" in Preferences. It gave me the confirmation that it was changing to windowed, but it's still full screen. When I go back into preferences, it says windowed, but it's not.

Went three games undefeated as Rotherham manager.

As a game, FM07 was my favourite, and had a great save as manager of Blackburn. However, my favourite ever save was as manager of Vizela, making it to the year 3034 in FM16. I also really liked FM05, so strange it's not on the list.

Lowest Match Rating You've Ever Seen
in Football Manager General Discussion
Posted
Recently played a match where the opposition goalkeeper got a 3.8 match rating, and I can't think of a time where I've seen a lower match rating in Football Manager, like ever (going back to FM2005).
I assume people will have seen match ratings lower than this but I'm curious to see how low can it go, and what sort of stats a player would need to have registered in a match to get below a 3.0 match rating, if it's even possible.
