    Offer player to be loaned out with the right requirements - teams do not make a bid

    So I have been trying to get a player out by loaning him out. After the fist "offer player", I do not get any offers but I do get feedback.

    Then I change the offer to match the feedback given - I did not lock any parameters in the offer so why not have the clube making me an offer with those terms? - and nothing. There is no feedback and no offers.

    I have attached a few files showing by offers and the feedback:

    I try to get an offer for all the wage but I cannot - with the feedback I drop to 60% but Sevilla does not make an offer and no longer shows in the feedback. And so on with the other teams in the feedback.

    Does this look like a bug? Thanks

    Is the Solskjaer in my save broken?

    It might actually be broken - look at the screenshot:

    Like in my save - I'm in 2030 - OGS is still a MU but has won some things. But in his history, it sill says 2019-2019. It does not say 2019 - (nothing). Like any other manager. check it out!

    Maybe that is the bug. OGS is in limbo - some bug where MU does not search for a manager because it has one but does not fire him because he already left?

    Loan Player allowed to play against Parent Team even when "Can play against own team" clause does not exist

    Hello,

    I know this is the wrong forum but I it might be worth checking for this bug in the upcoming release.

    As the title says, I have loaned out a player from Benfica (Portugal) to Nimes (France) and the loan contract does not include the clause "Can play against own team" - I remove that clause from any load contract.

    I played against Nimes in the Champions League and the player featured in the start 11 for Nimes. I guess that this is a bug - in any part mentions that this does not apply to european competitions (have not tried to see if this works in domestic leagues).

    The screenshots attached show how the clauses that we get when loaning a player, the clauses that the player has in the contract and the player playing against own team.

    Now looking at this again, I do wonder if the "Can play against B team" could have triggered this? Just guessing here but the bug is there.

    This is on FM20 Touch but still wanted to check with you guys if this is in the current version or if it has been fixed.

    Away games are way too hard or Home games too easy - wether it's for the player or the AI.

    In any league I cannot say that I have seen a lot of discrepancies to be fair. But when I look at cup competitions...

    I remember on of my Benfica saves, FM16 if I recall rightly, I won 6-0 or something. Lost 9-0 in the second leg a week later.

    Then in another games, if I beat any team in great fashion in the first leg, I know that I'm in for a treat in the second leg. Not always for sure. But it was almost as if I would feel saver winning 2-0 instead of 4 or 5.

    Even yesterday, FMT20, with again Benfica, I won the first leg against Villareal in the EURO Cup at home by 6-0. Second leg lost 5-0.

    I'm not saying that this happens every time - in the same season, I won 5-0 against Lyon to then loose 2-1 away in the second leg.

    How do you set up alerts or notifications for open job positions when you're employed?

    I had the same question. I think what you want is to get in your inbox an entry with "Man City has parted ways with Guardiola" instead if the News feed. It is far too easy to miss those news.

    I once was so eager to get a job because the manager of that team was so getting fired. Even with all the options, I missed the job because I thought that I would get a new entry in my inbox. They fired in and pointed someone else.

    So now what I do is every other game or so, I actually go to the Staff -> Job Security and look there. Far easier.

    But it would be nice if we would a new entry in the inbox - perhaps our agent mentioning that there is an opening that might interest me.

    Ah the utter pointlessness of playing deep defensive football in FM

    Late to party but I kind of see what the OP is saying.

    Barcelona only managed to do 20 shots. 4 on target. Why was this? Lack of space. There was no space for Barca to take a shot. Players grew frustrated that they only saw legs. Any attempt to penetrate the area would find 3/4 players right there... pass back. Inter was reduce to 10 man! Yet nothing crazy regarding shots.

    In this game, Barca had a shot every 4 and half minutes. In the OPs game, city had a shot every 2 minutes. I'm quite surprised with the possession being that high. If you are shooting that often, eventually, possession should drop because your are not keeping the ball as long before making a shot.

    In my view, Mourinho would want the team to:

    • Defend, Defend, Defend - we are here to not concede 2 goals. Barca can rent their half for all we care.
    • have 11 men behind the ball (reduce space)
    • stay on your feet - avoid fouls and avoid getting out of position
    • zone marking - avoid Barcas movements to disassemble the defence
    • Might have made man marking to Messi (box and 1 kind of thing were you create a defensive box and use 1 player man marking a key player)
    • Tight marking - when the player lands in your zone you mark him to avoid passes to a marked player.
    • No pressing until ball arrives in the Area - you are comfortable not having the ball. But when the ball enters the Penalty Area, PRESS

    So imagine 11 players moving side by side as a block. Even if Barca was doing a high tempo, Inter players would be "ok pass what you like outside of the area, here you don't do anything".

    So, can we in FM, create a tactic that, mimics this? No care for attack - just prevent the other team from invading the area.

    Odd Managerial appoitments - huge pay cuts

    Hello - playing FM Touch 2020 here but wondering if this is still an issue in FM 2021.

    TL;DR: Managers get substancial pay cuts which triggers some very odd appoitments

    Guardiola - Managing PSG. Salary £4M a year; Google search shows £20M at Man City
    Guardiola also has a odd history. Leaves Man City to go to Liverpool. Then gets sacked by Liverpool. Goes back to Man City. Gets sacked and goes to PSG.
    There is no indication that is carrer dropped to the point that £4M would be something good out of PSG

    Ancelotti - Managing Porto. Salary £1.1M a year; quick Google search shows £11.5M at Everton
    Left Everton to go to Atletico Madrid. Gets sacked. Goes to Man United. Gets sacked. Goes to TSG Hoffenheim. Leaves for Porto.
    Here is the first drop - from Man United to TSG Hoffenheim. TSG Hoffenheim is paying £1.5M to the current manager 
    The actual Porto manager, Sergio Conceicao, is reportaded to get £2M per year.

    Klopp - Managing R Madrid. Salary £8M a yaer; Google search shows £15M at Liverpool
    Got sacked by Liverpool. Joins R Madrid.
    I get that going to R Madrid could trigger a lower salary contract, but being an European Champion I doubt that it would take a 50% cut
    Klopp's contract end this summer. Lets see what the renew brings.

    Zidane - Managing Sporting Lisbon. Salary £1.3M a year. Google seach shows £10M
    Resigns R Madrid. Goes to Man City. Gets sacked. Goes to A Bilbao. Leaves for Schalke 04. Sacked. Goes to Sporting Lisbon.
    Another drop - City to Bilbao. Bilbao is paying £1M to the current manager

    Pochettino - Managing Argentina. Salary £161K a year. Google search shows that he was getting £8.5M at Spurs
    Pochettino starts the game unployed and goes to Benfica. I remember that his salary was around 1 Million.
    Leaves for A Madrid. Gets sacked. Goes to Argentina.
    This is were I started to notice the odd salaries.
    Benfica in RL tried to go for Pochettino but it could not afford him. The actual Benfica manager in RL gets paid £3.5M.

    The only 2 managers that still get a high salary are Mourinho and Conte.
    Both still at their original clubs, Mourinho gets £14M at Spurs and Conte £14M as well.

    Do you guys see this in your saves? Is this still an issue in FM 2021?

    The reason why I say it is an issue is because it is not realistic at all these appoitments. It kind of unbalances the game a bit.
