What is required to get a 10?

Usually in most previous FM's it would take 6 goals (double hat trick) for them to get a 10, strikers having an excellent season usually average around 7.4 rating over the course of the season.

Players don't have out of this world matches every game in FM, it's just not realistic, form, fitness, morale or factor in to their game performance.

People need to not get obsessed with the highest number all the time for everything, any player that has a 7 ave rating or higher should be classed as a world class season.  

[No DB folder for update patch 21.2.0]

Good afternoon,

Just patched FM 21 on my PC with patch 21.2 and there is no DB folder for 21.2, is that by design or have I had a something go wrong with my update?. 

It seems strange that a patch making this many changes required zero changes to the DB to implement, do I maybe need to verify my game files?.

Good Morning, 

I have been playing Liverpool during beta just noticed Virgil Van Dijk has the wrong contract expiry date, his contract ends June 2022 in game where as in real life his current deal ends June 2023 (he has all but signed a two year extension until 2025 upping his wages to £220k, but until he does sign it I know you can't put that in game). 

Both him and Fabinho have the same contract expiry dates in real life and both are due to sign new contracts sometime this season.

That is of course understandable, but surely at a club the size of Bayern it is surely much easier to info on all the players currently at the club?, be interesting to understand what hurdles and issues you hit up against in this process.

Good Morning all,

 

I have noticed that Luca Denk is not in game, he is a 17 year old Centre back/Midfielder for Bayern Munich he currently plays for their under 19's side his DOB is 02/03/2003 he has played for the Germany Under 17 side this year (4 apps in total I think). 

I believe due to his DOB he should of probably been in last years game as well but isn't either, not a massive amount of info about him on the internet, only this https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luca-denk/leistungsdaten/spieler/522242 (which is not the most reliable source for data I know, your researchers will know more). 

Is there a reason he is not in the game I am unaware of?. I heard about him last year was supposed to be well thought of in Germany.
