You are aware of Newgan face app? It helps you a alot. You can add Robs++ pictures to the already existing pool, and running it once a year keeps your newgen faces updated.

I kind of agree. The "just find players by scouting" was much harder "in the old days". But the one hour rule can make it difficult, but a bit hassle to implement. I am using LLM but i find myself advancing in the leagues and the game will be easy after a while. I try to restrict myself to atleast have 4-5 players from academy, increasing the amount when it gets easier. I find the youth challenge _very_ difficult because the clubs youth facilities has so much to say on the players generated, and have never had any success here.

And replying myself here in case anyone has the same problem: Very weird, but other facepacks made the error. It was only some of the pictures, and my solutions is now to merge the whole Zealand config file my other facepack config file and have all the pictures in the same catalogue. Its strange since the old facepack don't have any of the regen id's but that was how it got it to work 100%

I will quote you on that, because that worked 100%. No need to rename. (the only thing you have to rename is Scandinavia and South America catalogues that it match newgan).

Since this thread got active again. Newgan is great, i am 21 year into FM22 so there is very few original faces left. One minor problem i have is that every time i update (about early June every year) there is some faces that gets deleted and ordinary regen faces appear. Both on own team and others. And they do not get new faces next year. The regen face stays put rest of their "life". When you are used to Newgan faces the regens looks like monster on your team :-) I use preserve, and duplicate. Only way to fix this is to generate everyone fra scratch, but then every face gets new. Anyone else experience this?

Maybe a tiny bit off topic, but can you just "throw" the AI-pictures in the respective folders i have with Newgan faces? Or do i have to rename the files with numbers like the Newgan ones?

Only curious. Do you play the game isolated or do you seek information from various places? (downloading tactics, finding good players to buy etc). I find the game easy in the long run (20 years perspective), but when i play isolated i find the game quite challenging. For example, everyone "knows" that gegenpress is OP so i do not use that tactic. I try to make my "own" tactic, by trial and error. If you play isolated then i am impressed you find it easy. If you are not i recommend that for better challenge.

Could this be expanded to making a large script? "Give me 100 000 different male faces with different nationalites. Make variations in skin colour, facial expressions, eye color, hair style" I guess something like this is coming our way with the exploding evolvment in AI that has happened last months...If its not allready here!

oh, i never delete. And keep 3 game autosave and change name every year of savefile and keep olds. That way i do have the possible to go back in time if needed to check history. 18 seasons in (fm22) so i guess i am clogging up a lot of GB. But safety first :-)

ah, interesting. I am struggling to stay put in the Premier. So i promote from Champ, then relegated. Then promoted, but relegated again. So i now only have 2 more years of financial aid in Championship? So if i stay here 2 years, get promoted, and then relegated yet again i wont get more financial aid?

I had exactly the same "issue" as OP in Fm22. Used him as a sweeper keeper, and got complain that was being used in wrong position. Edit: my bad, i think i misread your sentence as "this bug was not in Fm22". Ignore my post.
