I think the tactical system is fine as it is. As some have already mentioned we should stop thinking of mentalities and start thinking of risk modifiers. I have great success with a defensive mentality but with positive player roles and pressing and counterattacking on. It means without the ball I am a solid defensive unit but as soon as we get the ball we counter attack effectively. We are currently top of the national league with a team expected to finish 17th. I don't play gegen press or any similar combination and I stick to the default formations that are in the game. For me the only thing I would improve would be to have more central play in the offensive third.

Agreed I play on a powerful PC and have all graphics on max and the match engine looks superb.

Sorry but you come across as a bit of a moaner. Buying Endrick for 100 million guarantees nothing. There are numerous reasons why he's 'only' scored 3 in 10 and they're probably down to your management.

Nothing wrong with this part of the game imo. Playing positive mentalities away from home can be less rewarding because the home team tend to be more on the front foot. Loose passes are more likely to be punished than they would when you play at home when opposition are more likely to be sat back.

Play with the tactic the team uses in team life would be a good starting point

I look at my birth certificate and then try and spell it correctly.

Reading through this thread it seems to me many of those complaining play OP tactics and cry when they get an injury, a team talk goes wrong or the AI scores with their one shot on target. Too many cry babies in here.

Installed your mod but the skin I'm using has an image they have used instead of the changing room scene. What file do I need to delete from the skin in order to see your mod working?

I'd widen the mod. Keep it all in here and make it a killer mod.

The current match engine is the best match engine they have ever come up with and with the move to unity, 3D and much better graphics are here to stay and rightly so.

I'm playing with 130,000 players and half a star performance and it runs fine for me.

Not sure if this is a bug or just me but season stats don't show correctly for some players on their player profile screen yet if you go into their attributes screen you can see them correctly. Is this happening to anybody else?

I had this in my lower league save. It was because I had my shortlist kept updated and I also had my youth manager and DOF initiating transfers which required someone to scout those players. Put and end to all that and my scouting budget was fine.

That's the thing I don't think this is anywhere near 80% of real life and feels lower then previous editions.

Half way through the season and 11 teams with no injuries, most of the rest with 1 and a few with 2 or 3. This is the national League North in England on full detail. Doesn't seem realistic to me.
