Terrible Season, we tried to play a more direct system, but all this did was make us concede more. We did score goals with Omkar D'Cruz having the highest in the League, however half of this was from the Penalty Spot, in open play he was poor missing many.Cups:

The chairman wants to leave, so no doubt someone will buy the club and take on loans as this usually happens.

Definitely did not forget to rester key players because of the long boring off-season, who needs backup DMs i am sure they can play 90m every game for half a season.

Season 27/28
Some up's and downs this season, sorry for the lack of updates, not played much but we have had an update so hopefully it has fixed some of the issues I had. So I am currently studying for the next coaching badge we won two trophies this season but the league is not quite there yet. we signed some more youth players this season nothing special but let's see if they develop, i think some 17-18-year-olds will be moving on to other clubs or other careers before the start of the next season.

We have Finally won some Silverware in India, The Durand Cup with 7 of the 11 players all from the academy and below the age of 18 The only Goal coming from my new 16-year-old Inside Foward.

Made a quick update to my previous post nothing to crazy, was knocked out of the cup but did get a Junior coaching Update. Quick question does anyone find it hard to score, i get so many games where the AI goalkeepers play 7.0 + , and every shot on goal is deflected hits the post or goes wide, some games I have 20 shots 9 on Target 3 Half Chances 2 Clear Cut but I still loose 2-10 with an XG of 2.5-3.0

Season 26/27 Quick Update
Started the season well but did lose the cup due to some BS in the match, The results are strong and we have now 11 players in the starting squad including subs. Turns out the Indian Youth League comprises 3 games in a group stage then knockout stages and a final, so they are now playing friendlies every week. Intake Preview has a good spread of positions.

Season Update
Nothing has changed too much we were knocked out of both cups, as the team is not scoring we had a good season but we just drew so much even with match domination, we managed to complete a youth facility upgrade and I have managed to grab another coaching badge. I think the older Foreign players may be leaving soon as I have no use for them any more especially the 39-year-old Liberian and 24-year-old Nigerian striker who was my best player in the first season age has caught up with them.
Financially we have managed to save some money since the previous season, we will soon have all the sponsor's money to boost the bank balance, and with the foreign players leaving that's another £58k of the wages per year.

Not a bad bunch of players, a mixed bunch with good physicals Gagandeep Naik looks has been promoted to the 1st team (not because of the name promise) i think he might be able to help us score more goals as this season has shownAbhishek Noronha

The Season So Far
The highlighted match was where I stopped playing until the match engine was fixed and the full game was released. As you can see We have been unbeaten in the League since the update. There seems to be no goal-scoring machine in my team, the highest has 7 and this is him Chhangte Fernandes, with his 4 Finishing and 5 composure. I have been using all the good players from the last intake to improve them with the GK and both playmakers getting game time as well as all the strikers.
I will hopefully give you an update at the end of the year. Hopefully, I win something we have been knocked out of the Durand Cup so now it is just the league and the Indian Federation Cup , we currently sit 3rd in the League

I will hopefully have an update on my Indian adventure soon, I stoped playing as the beta match engine was frustrating me but it is now better.

We have a pair of center mids who are rated as leading VNS players. Unfortunately, they're on non contracts and will likely be poached before the season starts. Other than that, we have only 2 centerbacks but good depth otherwise. The star from the youth intake in our holiday year has already scored and assisted in the first 2 matches of preseason.
Give them a new deal and set the contract to start at the end of the year, no one will be able to poach them but will be able to submit bids of £0 usually. You will have to be quick next season to do the same before everyone starts bidding.

I'm currently carrying over my FM23 save (with one of the Kashmir teams) where I am one season in and it's going similarly to yours. Finished 2nd, many five star potential players, not anyone who's already outstanding though. Don't have any foreign players in the squad and I was frankly quite surprised we were doing so well. Now, some players have retired which could come in handy for the financial side of things.
One question: How do you handle that enourmous time gap between the seasons where nothing is going on? Do you holiday for a bit or do you grind through it? For now, I'm sticking with the latter but it's a bit tiring tbh. Also: Do you also find it a bit hard to find opponents for friendlies? I understand that travel distances are high but it's still a pain for me.
I will usually holiday for a week or so at a time so I don't miss anything, though I just looked and it is 7 months off-season :D, just had a Google June to September is the monsoon season. Players come after the break we have 11 days then it is the Durand Cup, I love Asian football.
Unlike any other competition around the world winning team is presented with three trophies:
- Durand Cup (Nicknamed The Masterpiece): the original tournament trophy which became a rolling trophy since 196
- Shimla Trophy (Nicknamed The Artistry): donated by the residents of Shimla in 1904 to show their passion and support for the tournament, the trophy began to be awarded in rolling in 1965.

President's Cup (Nicknamed The Pride): a rolling trophy that replaced the Viceroy's Trophy post-independence by the President of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
I have had a save in Mongolia where sometimes you have a month between league games due to everyone using the same stadium, open up youtube and just watch stuff.

Well everyone this is going well so far, both Delhi clubs are at the top Delhi Football Club and mine Delhi FC. I do think that once the good foreign players retire or leave things will be harder.
Not sure we can afford let's hope the sponsorship keeps us afloat.

Let me know what you think so far, in India, you have to have two U22 players in the match squad, and 1 must be in the starting 11. You have to have a minimum of 3 Goalkeepers registered too. My plan is to sell my two backup GKs' and replace them with the two 15yr old ones as they are not any worse :D, I will be keeping most of the players who have Determination, Teamwork and Work Rate, so hopefully they will Develop a little, also would be nice to lower the wage budget some of our squad players and fillers are just not any good. One of the issues of India is you have really good foreign players who are older but then the national talent is poor.

My first thought was why does Dulwich need a new stadium it should be good for another level at least. Best Case scenario you might get a tycoon takeover

First Upgrade in India, I did try and get a coaching badge but they rejected it my Bhutanese Fitness coach even has one.
The start of the season has been ok so far

So the finances might be fun we have plenty of sponsorship but £3 for a season ticket and what I believe is pence for a match ticket. I worked it out as £250 per game at the turnstiles. I do get £450 for every win
in the League

And I thought it was starting to look brighter we lost 4 games in a row conceding 19 goals, over half from longshots by players with The longshot attribute no higher then "6"

Quick Mid-Season Update, I have won a game of football.
Hopefully changing to the 442 and being forced to use a grey right back will be the turning point of the season.
Also, my intake is here and looks "good"

has anyone been able to set up a custom all star game?

I have had some success with this and managed to make a version that has a PL all-star team V another selected team, I am currently making the Isle of Scilly League, they have an XI team playing a mainland team in the UK for this trophy below, however even with the same settings used for the PL allstars, the players in the League are not selected, and it uses greyed out randoms, any thoughts, the cup is at the start of the season, do i need to add some average ratings for the previous year.
