  1. Jun 2063. Reputation. We're Continental Rep now, but still have 14 clubs to pass before we make Worldwide. Facilities. For quite a while I've been waiting to upgrade the Youth Facilities, and then we got 1 out of the blue a while ago, but I also read that you couldn't upgrade the Youth Facilities if the Training Facilities were maxed out at L20, (it is apparently a bug), so I was expecting to have to wait until our Training Facilities were downgraded and then BEFORE I upgraded them again I would upgrade the Youth Facilities again and again with the Training Facilities static at L19, (or whatever). So imagine my surprise when I saw that we could upgrade our Youth Facilities while all the other facilities were still maxed out at L20. Internationals. European Competition Rankings. 2. Goal-scoring GK's. Jun 2063. This is a list of all the GK's at the club, ranked by name, (so oldest intake 1st). (43n) Welsh (M.Pro) 6'4" * came through the intake 20 years before the most recent intake, and it's worth noting that none of the other 10 GK's at the club were born in Alloa. The CA ratings suggest that we should be playing (55e) McLean (F.Pro) 6'0" * ahead of (43n) Welsh (M.Pro) 6'4" * now, but even if we ignore the fact that (43n) Welsh (M.Pro) 6'4" * is on 160 career goals, I'm just not convinced that (55e) McLean (F.Pro) 6'0" * is better, no matter what the CA ratings say. (43n) Welsh (M.Pro) 6'4" * never did get that Scottish Cap, despite being called up to the squad time and time again. (55e) McLean (F.Pro) 6'0" * would appear to have taken over his "non-playing National squad member" mantle, as he has been included in the squad for the last 10 games, but still not capped. The other 2 GK's in the Scottish National squad are better players and have deservedly been awarded Caps ahead of our players. Although they both came through the system at English clubs, they were at least both born in Scotland, and Theo Troup even played for Hibs for a few years before his big move to Inter. If we rank the GK's at the club by PA, then (43n) Welsh (M.Pro) 6'4" * falls behind 4 younger GK's, but we know how unreliable PA ratings are, (especially in young players), and 2 of them above him are still teenagers so that probably needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. (43n) Welsh (M.Pro) 6'4" * has 2 years left on his contract, with an option for a +1 on top of that, but the +1 will only work if I trigger it early, because otherwise he will just decide to announce his retirement and the +1 will be worthless. With that in mind I have triggered the +1 now, (so he now has 3 years left on his contract), but at 36 years old there is still no guarantee that he won't retire before then anyway. As he is starting every game he's available for, I'm hoping that he will retire later than might otherwise be the case, and even if he does announce his retirement then I have a reasonable chance of getting him to change his mind. He scored 17 goals last season, (a career high as previous best was 15, 13, 13, 13 & 13), but he also failed from the spot 5 times meaning that he could have scored 22 goals in just 1 season. With 3 years left on his contract, and using 15 as a conservative average, (I think 20 is more likely), then he could score another 45 career goals between now and when his contract expires, and that would take him past the 200 career goals mark and that would seem a fine time to call time on not only his career, but also probably this save., (but we will see)........
  3. Squad stats. Jun 2063. Squad by Appearances. We played a total of 60 games this season, and although no outfield player started more than 36 goals, the most outfield appearances by a player was (51b) Kirkwood (Res) * with 33(22) making 55 in total. Squad by Goals. 8 different players hit double-figures, but only 2 managed to hit 20+. Squad by Assists. Obviously with us scoring so many goals, (108 in the league alone), we also got a lot of assists, with 6 players hitting double-figure assists, but nobody hitting the 20 mark. Squad by Avg Rating. Lots of players in the green here and (57a) Bastos (SCO)(ANG) * topping the rankings with a ridiculous 7.46 rating across the season. He contributed 14 goals and 16 assists, but I would love to see that 20+ + 20+ next season. There is more to come from him I;m sure. Squad by CA. Only 10 players with 3.0 CA or above and only 7 players with 3.5 CA and above shows that despite our domestic dominance there is still significant room for improvement. Squad by PA. 15 players with better than 3.0 PA shows how much we can still develop, especially with 7 of the 15 players still being teenagers. Squad by National Team. Squad by Senior Caps. Squad by U21 Caps.
  4. Thanks. When we were knocked out of the Champions League I had the hump and then it was Youth Intake day and I basically just couldn't be bothered going through and naming everyone and setting up training and offering contracts, so I just took what I thought was going to be a little break, but I replaced FM with Rimworld again and wasn't missing it at all. I thought that FM25 was looking large on the horizon so I thought that might be the end of the save as the sabbatical extended to 2 weeks, but the announcement that FM25 had been delayed has sort of dragged me back, (because I can't go that long without FM). We're pretty dominant domestically, with 3 trebles and a double in the last 4 seasons, but as usual for me, Europe is proving a tougher nut to crack. European Nation Rankings. Nation Club Coefficients. Nation Coefficient Place Race. Qualification Places. We've been up as high as 5th in the past I think, but we're a long way off that currently.
  5. The best way to check is probably just to start up a save and holiday a few seasons and see what happens. I honestly don't know, but I know when I last checked there were comments saying that there were issues with the most recent update, (bit obviously I haven't checked in a while).
  6. May 2063. Scottish Premiership. As so often happens, we really lose our form with the league already won. Scottish Cup. A 6th win in 10 seasons for us. Internationals. Transfers. Goal-scoring GK's. 1 goal from 1 pen this month. (23) Brass (Bal) 6'2" is 5/8 from the spot at 63%. (Is no longer at the club). (23) Ewing (Bal) 6'1" is 17/20 from the spot at 85%. 7. Apr 2063. Scottish Premiership. We're 26 points clear at the top now, but the 1 loss in the league, (at home to St Johnstone), still rankles. Scottish Cup. When winning regularly becomes a habit, you start for looking for other challenges, (such as even the avoidance of conceding a goal). Internationals. Goal-scoring GK's. 1 goal from 2 pens this month. (23) Brass (Bal) 6'2" is 5/8 from the spot at 63%. (Is no longer at the club). (23) Ewing (Bal) 6'1" is 17/20 from the spot at 85%. (Is no longer at the club). 8. Mar 2063. Scottish Premiership. We were 2-0 down against Celtic with 9 mins to go, so I'm certainly not complaining about the draw, despite the fact that we should have been comfortable winners. Either way, we're still 20 points clear at the top. UEFA Champions League. We were well 2nd best to Newcastle and that's us done again for another season. Scottish Cup. 22 goals scored and none conceded. Internationals. 8 (EIGHT) players called up to the senior Scottish squad. Records. Double-figure goals is always a big deal. Goal-scoring GK's. 3 goals scored by (43n) Welsh (M.Pro) 6'4" * from 4 pens taken. He took 3 pens in the 11-0 win in the Cup, but only converted 2 of them. (23) Brass (Bal) 6'2" is 5/8 from the spot at 63%. (Is no longer at the club). (23) Ewing (Bal) 6'1" is 17/20 from the spot at 85%. (Is no longer at the club). 9. NxGn 2063. 1st and 5th is pretty good on this list, and even more so when you consider that #5 (60a) Leishman (F.Pro) *** will still be eligible for the list next season.
  10. Such is the relative strength of HB that I actually found the Faroes a tough challenge, (at least playing Youth Only). Good luck with this double-pronged attack.
  11. I'm even more keen to have a look now. Am busy tomorrow but will try and catch up later in the week.
  12. Yeah, sitting g through a while stream would be a bit much, but I could skim through to fund out the clubs involved and then maybe look for the results to see how they did. Not suggesting that we would or wouldn't be consecutive, but it would be good just to see. I know we've done something similar in the dim and distant past.
  13. Not sure if anyone has seen, but there has been a new FIFAe Football manager competition where players played live in front of an audience, (and streamed live), and eventually Indonesia beat an England Team consisting of Second Yellow card & RDF, (FIFA streamer who dabbles in FM I think), in the final. I haven't watched any of the streams, (busy), but I think the idea is that in the knockout stages at least, they played the managed the same club at the same starting point and then were awarded points based on....... things. I plan on having a look at some of the streams at some point, but maybe it would be interesting to list the clubs and what we're up against and see how we could compete against them.?
