Hey, I know you get asked this multiple times a day but have been away from FM24 for about 3 months, I wanna start a new save so what would you say are the best tactics currently for a SUB TOP, MID TABLE & UNDERDOG team? Cheers

@KakaSCP @knap I find that ME23.2HGFnap451I101FACC works wonders away from home on balanced or cautious depending on strength of opposition.

I've tried it with MUFC, Leeds and Anderlecht in conjunction with a 4231 at home to great success

@knap  Hi Knap, dumb question but has there been an update in the last few games? Only asking because I have been smashing it for the last few weeks using  PARIS 4231 P104 ALL CUPS &  HGF 4231 Attack P101 ALL CUPS with a couple of teams at various levels. But I have started a  new game today with Man Utd and the tactics just seem terrible especially away from home, I can't score and most of my players can't get a rating above 6.5. I haven't made any transfers as yet but they just seem to have stopped working. Any ideas?? Also a simple ball over the top works almost everytime for the AI

Oh yeah I see it now LOL!!! I may try it on another couple of tactics to see how it works. Are you finding 451 better than 4231 on this years game? I'm having success with both so far but I just prefer a 4231 more. Thanks for all the hard work again this year so far!!

Hi Knap, Sorry to ask if you have already explained but what is NIKE defence? Is it much more stable than other tactics without it? and if so will you be applying it to other tactics?  Thanks!!

If working I would carry on. If form drops give ECHOES a try.

ECHOES THP92 did well in the MU/Brentford test but only an indication based on those squads.

Just used it at home as Malaga against Real Madrid and drew 2-2 so it seems to still work OK

Update hasn't affected my Man Utd save using 4231 Paris 110. Just blew away Stoke in the FA cup 8-0 with a reserve team and 35 shots. Also using FM22WARRIOR4132VAP100ARSENALP90FA as Malaga away from home in La Liga as a big underdog and won 3-0 so I can't see any radical changes as yet

In theory the tactics are built from a base and various TIs/PIs add a few pts each to that Base.

Dropping a VA back to attacking may just be a few pts over a season.

VA is just a risk factor which is slightly higher than attacking, so if VA does not work drop it back to attacking.

Thanks! I tend to use the VA at home and then drop to attacking or positive depending on the opponent away. Most are working a treat so far!!

Loving your tactics again this season, I always download quite a few I like and use them on a variety of teams in one save. Quick question though, this year I've noticed a lot of them are set as VERY ATTACKING mentality, if I set this to attacking will it make the tactic less effective?

I would not change if winning.

It was my mistake with the set up and TIME 21.5 will be ECHOES in future MEs.

@knapHi, Just wanted to say these tactics are great!! most seem to workout for most teams with good results. Quick question I have been using 21.5 TIME4231 on ME21.6 with great results but i've noticed you have now updated it for the new ME along with ECHOES 4231 and I see in your description that time has no PI's but echoes does. However TIME4231 ME21.5 did have PI's so would you recommend I go with Time or Echoes this time??
