Definitely a good start to life in the top division. Getting points against teams like Valencia and Bilbao is very encouraging stuff.

Agreed. Fingers crossed you can sneak your way back into a league 2 team. But I don't think going down to tier 5 would be the worst thing in the world, you might get a decent mid-table team and can have a strong run at promotion.

Nice that you finally got a move away, you definitely accomplished all you could with Port Talbot. Unless you were stuck there for another decade, you might have been able build and have a good crack at Europe
I imagine we'll see you get back to being snapped up at every opportunity now that you're in England again.

Surely winning the league twice in a row (fingers crossed) would be enough of a boost to get other clubs looking at you?
A cup win or two wouldn't hurt either...

Congrats on the title! I just read through this whole thread in the last couple of days. Nice to see a league title under your belt after so many setbacks.
Gotta agree on Taggart, he looks promising. Hopefully he has a bit of room to grow as well.

Decided to give this challenge a go!
I'll be taking over Kingstonian in Vanarama South - they went up finishing 7th and winning the playoffs.
