However on the 17th minute the ten men grabbed the lead as L.Bonis headed in from a brilliant cross. Eight minutes later it was two nil as L.Bonis slotted in from close range. Just after the half hour though Pyunik pulled a goal back with a well worked team move which split the ten men apart. The second half was four minutes old when Larne regained their two goal advantage after L.Bonis completed his hat-trick with a fine effort. Straight from kick off though Pyunik pulled a goal back again as N.Hovhannisyan beat the offside trap and fired under the keeper. On the 69th minute Larne were reduced to nine men as A.Kennedy was sent off for a professional foul. Despite the numerical difference Pyunik couldn't draw level and Larne go into the second leg with a 3-2 lead Larne 3-2 Pyunik L.Bonis 17, 25, 49 / S.Markosyan 32, N.Hovhannisyan 50 TNS v F.C.Santa Coloma Within a minute the Welsh side took the lead as K.Uppington ran into the area unmark and fired under the keeper. Three minutes later it was three nil as D.Evans curled the ball in from outside the area to give the keeper no chance of saving. On the 25th minute the home crowd were going mental as B.Young tapped in from two yards after a low cross beat the defence with far too much ease. With seven minutes remaining in the half M.Fream slotted in a low shot past the keeper to send the Welsh side into the half time interval five goals to the good. The second half was all TNS but they seemed to have relaxed a lot and they only managed to add one more goal as A.Shone hit home from ten yards to give the Welsh side an unassailable lead going into the second leg TNS 6-0 F.C.Santa Coloma K.Uppington 1, J.Williams 16, D.Evans 19, B.Young 25, M.Fream 38, A.Shone 81 Vikungur R v HJK No Match Report Vikingur R 1-0 HJK Zalgiris v Flora No Match Report Zalgiris 2-1 Flora
  9. September 30th: Spennymoor (a) FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Rd Last time we had the pleasure of facing Spennymoor we were roundly beaten 4-0, I reminded you lot about this and nothing would please me more than beating them on their own turf. However it was Spennymoor who had the first chance of the game as they broke through the defence with ease but Sherm managed to tip the ball round for a corner. On the 23rd minute they had another chance as Chilean Ranger fluffed a clearance but Sherm came to the rescue with a brilliant save. Seven minutes and against the run of play we were awarded a penalty after CFuller was adjudged to have been fouled in the area, Mark Wilson27 stepped up and fired the penalty straight down the middle for the opening goal. With two minutes remaining in the half we made it two nil as CFuller ran onto a great pass from Celtic_1967 and fired under the onrushing keeper. The second half saw us dominating and on the hour mark Celtic_1967 crossed into the area for Captain BenArsenal to head in our third goal. On the 69th minute we grabbed another goal with BenArsenal becoming provider as CFuller slotted in from his pass. Straight from kick off we made it 5-0 as EvilDave hit the ball with pace across the area and CFuller slotted in to complete his hat-trick. We were running the show and on the stroke of full time we had the chance of a sixth goal but it was ruled out as Gavrenwick was adjudged to have fouled in the build up. 10. October 16th: Ukraine (a) Euro 2024 Qual Grp C (6/8) A poor start to the game saw us conceding a penalty on the 13th minute as L.Dunk fouled in the area, A.Yarmolenko stepped up and sent D.Henderson the wrong way. Three minutes later though we levelled the scores as P.Foden ran onto a J.Bellingham through-ball and fired under A.Trubin. However on the 24th minute we conceded against as Y.Yarmoliuk crossed into the area and D.Sikan fired in with ease D.Henderson was caught flapping. Ukraine piled forward and on the stroke of half time they made it 3-1 as D.Sikan slotted the ball to the feet of A.Dovbyk who wasted no time in tapping under my keeper. The second half was two minutes old when S.Kryvtsov made it 4-1 after running onto a V.Tsygankov through-ball. We were all over the shop but on the 69th minute substitute M.Rashford headed in a J.Bellingham cross to give us some hope. Ten minutes later we made it 4-3 as M.Rashford became provider as his pass was curled in by B.Saka. We were playing the better football but deep into injury time R.Malinovskyi threaded the ball to the feet of R.Yaremchuck who lashed in past the helpless D.Henderson. The result has put our automatic qualification hopes in dire straights. 13. Authors Notes: Will be following every European game throughout the season with the new layout. I have holidayed FM24 to the start of the European Qualifiers. It will be basic match reports until we get to the ¼ Finals of each tournament So the European season has had a revamp for the 2024/25 season which I will go into soon. This means that the winners of the 2023/24 trophies will be know as the last of that format/ They are as follows: UEFA Champions League: Manchester City 1-0 AC Milan (E.Haaland) UEFA Europa League: Liverpool 2-0 BRG (L.Diaz, C.Gakpo) UEFA Europa Conference League: LOSC 2-1 Arouca (N.Bentaleb, A.Ribeiro / M.Puche) The usual qualifying rounds will be as normal with a two legged tie deciding who progresses, once we get to the League stage I will run through how that works. So lets get started with this adventure Authors Notes: Despite running the game with multiple leagues and a large database some games haven't thrown up match details
