  1. I've tried to play Real World in Uruguay, but found out a bug that turns players with two transfer on the same season to be unavailable to be picked for the lineup.
This, turning almost all transfers useless for every team.

Anyone knows if such rule could be edited / deleted from Advanced Rules?

    Thanks in advance.

don't know if this issue has been addressed before regarding the uruguayan league...

in terms of young players not being allowed to play in first team matches

I think there is an issued in the game that doesn't reflect the league rules in real life

I am managing DANUBIO and although I offer full time contracts to 15 and 16 old players they are never allowed to play in the Uruguayan League, although I can field them in the Libertadores and Sudamericana Cups

for example in real life Nicolas Siri of Danubio appeared many times in the first squad and he was only 16...

    Apologies for the late response.
    Those are two different issues.

Firstly, IRL in Uruguay, players under 18yo on youth contracts can play a max. of 5 official matches. After that they have to sign a full-time professional contracto to keep playing for the senior team.
This was reported at least a couple of years ago.

Secondly, you said you ofered full-time contracts to 15/16 years old players. Did they signed it and AFTER that you still can't field them in FM?

Can you also provide a savegame?

    Thanks in advance.

I noticed today that we no longer have the Clubs' nicknames in the game. Weren't they there in previous FMs?

Considering recent events, I assume that some can be seen as problematic (looking at you, Liverpool), is that the reason not to have them all in game?

    No idea.
    I have not been informed.
Club's nicknames are still on our db. If those are not extracted into the game, it's a matter for another thread.
By the way, I don't see any issue with current Liverpool's nicknames, "Negriazules" and "La Cuchilla".

That was Santiago Martínez indeed, I got mixed in the list with Maxi Rodríguez there.

The people in your last post, I'm too young to rate some of them (and I don't come from a Wanderers family personally), but overall the rest look OK, Gerardo Alcoba's rating should probably increase a bit given that he's come back now and that we're doing good with him as captain (this always thinking of next year's edition). In addition, I think that taking those ratings into account, Muslera's should raise to a 10-12, as we have a special affection for him, not only because he's one of the most successful goalkeepers that we ever produced, but also because he's always stated publicly that he wants to end his career at Wanderers (instead of Nacional, for example).

I have mixed feelings about Betito Acosta and Aguirre, since they became more prominent figures at and of Peñarol after Wanderers than they were probably for us.

I get your point about the former icons interacting with the media about Wanderers in game, I just used the editor to decrease Francescoli to 30 because it was getting annoying seeing him speak about Wanderers every ingame weekend.

    Reduced Francescoli to 6.
    Raised Muslera to 12.
    Added Santiago Martínez to 8.
Luis Alberto (not Betito, but Beto) Acosta and Diego Aguirre remained the same, as no indication otherwise.

Do not hesitate to post whatever other errors you find.
    Thanks!

20 for Tito Borjas, Obdulio and Barrios, and legends the three of them

    17 for Blanco

    15 for Francescoli

    14 Daniel Carreño, Mauricio Nanni

    13 Alfredo Arias

10 Ronald and Julio Ramírez, Maximiliano Olivera, Guzmán Pereira, Maximiliano Rodríguez Maeso, Adrián Colombino and Sebastián Eguren

8 Santiago Rodríguez, Diego Riolfo, Rodrigo Pastorini, Gastón Bueno and Ignacio María González Gatti

maybe 5 for Bengoechea, Fernando Muslera, Pablo García, etc.

On the disliked personnel there is only two I can think of right now and that's Gastón Rodríguez Maeso with a -20ish and Emanuel Gularte with a -15ish.

In terms of new stadium names, Obulio Varela should probably come unticked by default in the list, as we already have Villa Española's with that name. If Wanderers ever builds a new stadium and names it after a club legend it would be most likely René Tito Borjas, unless Blanco returns now to the club and we win the Clausura and this season's Uruguayo, but that will be info for next year's edition

    Thanks!

Francescoli previus rating was around 15, so it won't change that much his behaviour towards the club's news.
Notice that the feature (icons and legends of the clubs commenting news on the club) may or may not be tied to this table. It's really out of my control.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but wasn't sure where else to put it. This is definitely incorrect as Liverpool paid like 22m for Suarez then Barca paid upwards of 80m didn't they?

Yeah, this is not definately the place for this, as this seems an error within the news.

I think you should probably post this on https://community.sigames.com/forums/forum/828-all-other-gameplay/
Keep me updated with this, please.
    Thanks.

Hey @Kaniko Ramone this is not an issue but rather a nuance.

Can we stop having Francescoli and Bengoechea as Montevideo Wanderers' icons for future editions? The thing is that, although we are proud of them being products of our youth system/their early career days, neither of them have been interested in Wanderers at all in recent decades or ever, so having them speaking about Wanderers' latest form is weird (I know this is a very niche thing, but bear with me). On the other hand, having people like Chapita Blanco or Chifle Barrios speaking about Wanderers is extremely more common in real life (you can see Blanco supporting Wanderers on Twitter even as a Torque player nowadays, not to talk about el Chifle being part of the Wanderers board and its football committee as of writing this).

Could this be a thing for future editions? Glad to help in the research for other clubs and this sort of thing too.

It's always very helpful to have this information first hand from club's supporters, so it will be fixed inmediately.
From 1-20 in "likeness", which rating do you suggest for:
    - Pablo Bengoechea
    - Enzo Francescoli
    - Sergio Blanco
    - Chifle Barrios
    - any body else

Are any of those (or any other) worth the status of Legend?

Couldn't we argue, nowadays and with very recent evidence, that these short tournaments are actually important for Peñarol and Nacional as well? Munúa lost the final for the Apertura and got sacked, that means that for Nacional, as it is for the vast majority of teams in the league the short tournaments are important.

Nothing to be changed in this rather failed edition of the game for a league like the Uruguayan one (not your fault Kaniko), but to bear in mind for FM22.

But those are important in game.
Apertura, Clausura and Annual Table has a Reputation 120, while Intermedio has Reputation 95.

Winning AP-CL-AT means a boost in Club's Reputations as well, and everyone involved.
The problem is that the impact of those is hard to calibrate in real life, therefore it is so in the game.
Furthermore, my perception is that Annual Table is more important than Apertura and Clausura (because it gives the winning club a handful of advantages), but unlike Apertura and Clausura, Annual Table winner has no cup, no medals, no celebrations, etc.

    52 minutes ago, Laurefinwe said:

Munúa lost the final for the Apertura and got sacked,

    This is partially true.
Munúa got sacked because of an accumulation of things, like losing two finals in a row (Supercup and Apertura) to smaller clubs; or a the team performing weakly and too leaned to a defensive system, which is not to the taste of Nacional's fans and boads; etc.

So, all in all, the problem here is to try to find a balance in game between the importance of this stages, which at the end of the day, are precisely stages of one main competition, Uruguayan First Division.
I'm open to ideas an suggestions to improve this.

I'm not 100% sure about this or if it even warrants a fix, but... when Peñarol plays "away" games at the Centenario stadium, the attendance number is super inflated. Even if they play a tiny team, they bring 40000 fans for that away (or neutral, if you like...) game. I couldn't find any official numbers but based on videos I've seen, there shouldn't be even close to half of that many tickets sold. Not a huge issue, but I'm afraid it could make the revenue from ticket sales super unrealistic. Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks.
This is something that was introduced by me in the past years, but doesn't seem to apply no more, so it will be reviewed to a more accurate representation.

Ha! Funnily enough, like the friend here, I was coming to tell that it seems that Montevideo City Torque has changed its main stadium to the Estadio Charrúa. Can't really find an article, but I know for sure they did, and as "evidence", I can muster this clear picture of the Charrúa with MCT corner flags, indicating they now play their Home games there. In-game, they still play those at the Estadio Centenario.

EDIT: Also, a fanpage indicates so too:

    Thanks.
    It's fixed now.

Currently, as far as I can tell, we can't set training ground improvements progression on the db (unlike stadiums, which, as a matter of fact, we do can set them improvements over time), so, when Torque finish their training ground, we will rate it accordingly in the db.

So Peñarol has the wrong name for its own player on its own documents. Hm, I'd feign surprise if I still had some left. Thanks, anyways.

Unless there's a confirmation from the player himself, there's always a chance of being wrong with the names.
Sometimes it's hard for clubs to get it right too, as even official sources has errors in the spelling sometimes.

Hi there. Not sure if this is a bug or WAD. Happened also in previous versions, Uruguayan league is split in two rows (Apertura and Clausura). These two tournaments are part of the National League, but each can have a unique champion. so my annotations about that are the following:

No Post match trophy animation is played whenever you win Apertura or Clausura championships, when in real life we do have for both tournaments.  Same happens to the Uruguayan Champion, if same team won the Apertura and the Clausura tournaments, and rule in the Global table as well, that team should be getting your post match champion screen. I understand this might ruin your current league behaviour, but it will match real life.

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks for reporting.
This has been discussed many times.

Apertura, Intermedio and Clausura are just part of the Uruguayan First Division championship, so, while in real life there's a celebration, we couldn't find a good balance in game between this an reality.

For instance, if we set this stages as isolated tournaments, in game, clubs which battle for the title (Nacional, Peñarol and to less extent Danubio and Defensor Sporting) would consider winning one of those stages as an achieve itself, instead of just a step of to the title.
Like Danubio or Defensor Sporting feeling accomplished if they just win Apertura but gets defeated in the championship final legs. This is even less realistic if this happens to Peñarol and Nacional.

So, while in real life there's a praise for winning Apertura, Intermedio and Clausura, what really matters is winning the First Division itself.

Hope it makes sense when reading out loud. :)

Elections for Peñarol are a year off. I suppose this is a workaround given Jorge Barrera is still technically the president? Problem is the elections will take place days after the game is released.

The dates are set correctly in the db.
This issue is because Uruguay start date is set to 2021.

And Denis Olivera, for Peñarol, seems to be named Dennis Olivera, which is supposedly incorrect.

According to his social media, his name is Dennis.

The date that the league is starting is wrong, i suppose that will change with the game, and also there are lots of players wrong in every team

Savegames start dates are set to 01/01/2021.
It affects the squads compositions, as lots of contracts ending dates are on 31/12/2020, as well as most loan deals.

Sorry, no chance to fix that.

  17. 21 minutes ago, CosoColor said:

    hi!
a lot of players appear without contract on their teams.

some players on peñarol there are not playing there, like Gaston Guruceaga, Gonzalo Fleitas

David Terans dont appear on the roster, its in Mineiro.

i will keep watching some things

It's because the savegame starts on 2021, when contracts and loan deals ending on 31/12/2020 already ran out.

  18. 22 hours ago, martin-steglich said:

    - In the game, every Nacional players end contract on 31/12/2021, some of them have more years of contract.

    - Leandro Barcia is playing in Sport Club do Recife.

    - Hugo Magallanes and Guillermo May are on loan in Cerro Largo

    - Rodrigo Pastorini is playing in Wanderers

    - Felipe Carballo, Ayrton Cougo and Mathías Suárez are playing in Nacional

All is set accordingly in the db.

This is probably a consequence of savegames start date only in 2021.
