Which would run better i3-8130u or i5-8250u?

would the 8250u be able to handle it clocking at 1.6

Which would be better for FM:

 

i5-8250u or a i3-8130u

 

I know the 8250 is better overall but runs at 1.6 whereas the 8130 base is 2.2

Hi Smurf,

 

Downgrading myself with a small budget, max £450 (cheaper the better, would prefer £350-400). Must be a 13-14” screen but will only be using for FM (sparingly) and O365. 

 

Have been erm looking at a few and not sure, advice please.

or could I get a 4gb cheaper machine, like a Acer swift 3 and upgrade the RAM or would that not work as well? 

Not too fussed about graphics and I’d use an external HD for storage if needed.
