  1. Season and Club Recap Manager Profile We are now a club icon, and the board have elected to build a new stadium. Not sure why as they just finished the expansion. Team History 15 trophies in our tenure is now built an impressive cabinet at the grounds. Schedule We smoked Titus 5-0. Rodange's manager then attempted to disparage us in the media. So we beat him with the second teamers just to show off. They almost regretted their words and got relegated. Luxembourg National Division Nascimento won the golden boot, and Estevez won the youth of the season award. Due to heavy rotation, we didn't have any players that played over 75% of matches in the league. Luxembourg Division of Honour As for the second division, Mersch and CS Grevenmacher are going back up. Edrees is still with Greven and will likely be their starter next year. Luxembourg Super Cup We have never lost a super cup since being in the competition. Luxembourg Cup We have only lost out on two domestic cups since taking over both were to Titus. National Club Coefficients We are now moving up to where the second best team domestically will go straight into the Europa League. Hopefully this will lead to more coefficient points. Player Stats Some names will be missed. Like Big man Scrbec will be one to watch. Henke will also be on to new pastures next season. Pablo and Onyshchenko were two favorites that I hope will receive some love in the seasons to come. Jorge and Pace were both peripheral figures that never got much of a look in the first team. Teah was another that had homegrown and long time fixture written all over him, but he failed to keep up with other players as the seasons passed. I am torn between retiring as my ideal job has come up, or starting a new manager and playing out the remainder of this season's contract as myself. Thanks for following and best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
  2. April 2029 Schedule Another perfect month now gives us a crazy 30 point gap in the league. We also were able to resign nearly every player prior to leaving. Luxembourg National Division One final game against Rodange. I feel bad for them as they are likely to lose. Which may just get them relegated. Luxembourg Cup Final Our finals matchup is Titus. Unfortunately Cochrane has been injured so this will be Henke's farewell game in goal. Board Requests The board agreed to a training facility upgrade to try to get us to stay, but turned down our youth recruitment increase request. We are leaving them in great states though. Possible New Jobs Almost all of the relegation threatened teams are a possible landing spot for us. However, the one who is certain to fire their manager is Rumelange who were the first team slated to be relegated. I don't know if I want to go down to the 2nd division. However if I want to stay in Luxembourg. Those are the jobs that will likely be available. The other likely job opening is Walferdange. They are the best placed team for the promotion playoff, but if they lose the news articles are saying the manager will not be given a new contract. We are likely to run the table in the awards for this season. Thanks for following along and next month we will secure our next move hoping to be under contract with a new side by the start of June. Best of luck in your own saves. And for likely the last time, let's go Auslänners!
  3. March 2029 Schedule Now that we are back to domestic competition only we are back to winning everything. One more leg against Mondorf should see us through to the final of the cup. Doing the Double! So wild, I didn't even realized we won the league until after our Rumelange game when inbox news arrived. We are so far ahead of the league it really is silly. FC Schifflange currently have their manager on the hot seat. So they might be an interesting take over. Maybe reuniting with keeper Tim Kips. Finances We have officially done it. We are rich status. We have are leaving the team in excellent states. Anxious to have the transfer controls back in my hands again. Data Hub We are really mastering the 4-3-3 at this level. Averaging 3 goals a game and only 0.64 goals against. If we can bring this kind of constant dominate quality to another side it will definitely show us for the savant we are. (Heavy Sarcasm! I use GYR's Thanos tactic. He is a genius!) Next Games 5 games next month and most likely 7 more total as boss at US Hostert. (Should be 343 games total as Manager.) I wonder if any of our staff will leave when we do. Loanees Here is a look at the loanees and the stats are each player at their respective loan spells. Lots of potential. I wonder who of the players will be sold off in the seasons to come. Maybe we will see some of these names in the seasons to come. Jofre was probably the player I looked forward to the most, but was just never good enough for the first team. He could be a nightmare wingback for an Luxembourgish team. (He is awaiting paperwork to become a citizen.) Already getting nostalgic and we haven't even departed yet. Thanks for reading and best of luck in your own save. Cheers!
  4. February 2029 Schedule The roughest month this season, and we officially lost our streak of 36 consecutive games without a loss in the league. Champions League Knockout Round We draw Ajax in both games, but unfortunately we could not beat them in a penalty shootout. We do walk away with another 10 million in prize money though. Luxembourg National Division 9 games to go in the league, and Nascimento is definitely getting the golden boot. Squad View Van Axel Dongen is the most consistent in the team. We are preparing his demotion, but he has proven everyone wrong. Next Games 5 games next month with a semi-final matchup against Mondorf in the Cup. We are losing steam a little bit. We are seeing the end in sight and the team is starting to be upset about playing time and wanting to leave to for some bigger sides. All of those offers are far short of their value, but that doesn't mean they don't kick up a fuss anyway. Thanks for following along and best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  5. January 2029 Schedule Mixed month, but a final point against Dortmund helped us to finish in 16th place with a possibly winnable draw against Ajax who finished 24th. Champions League Which means we now have 16-19 games left on the season. With the majority taking place over the next 3 months. We extended as many player contracts as we could. We will try to get everyone on at least a 2 year deal prior to leaving. Luxembourg National Division 15 point lead on 2nd place. The FC Swift Hesperange job is currently under threat. If the current manager is fired at season's end they might be an interesting position to step into. For now though we are stocking up the team to hopefully give Luxembourg plenty of talent to trickle down the league pyramid. Transfers Jeunesse were looking for a new right back. Hopefully Noor will be able to help them stay up. We probably got fleeced at that price, but he will definitely be a fixture in their starting XI. Gunnarsson will slot into the first team alongside Bugarin. He was the most expensive at $230,000 from Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur in Iceland's Premier Division. Next incoming is Brazilian center back and mammoth of a man, Mauricio. He will be a bench option and second stringer for the time being. He comes in on a free. Next is already a Mozambique international. He is a dribbler extraordinaire. He was not able to secure a loan after coming in this window. Which means he will be a depth option in the senior team for the time being. Lastly a Cameroonian full-back in Junior Mbom. At 18 he already has incredible mentals. The biggest hurdle to work on will be growing his technical skills. He comes in for a very reasonable $17,000. Club Overview Our training facilities are up, but the youth facilities have not being able to be upgraded for almost 2 seasons. I'm not sure if this is due to us being in a temporary stadium, or what. That closes our final window with US Hostert. I am playing around with doing a homegrown save in the next job. For now though we have two more trophies to win. Thanks for following along and best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
  6. December 2028 Schedule Fenerbahce didn't even put up a fight, and with the starters beginning to grumble... We didn't rotate much this month, and therefore we nearly had another perfect month. Champions League The great European form has us in 8th. We still haven't officially secured a place to the next round, but essentially we are on to the knockouts in our last season in charge here as we have turned down an extension from the board. Luxembourg National Division We are still flying high in the league. Nothing new there as this will likely be our 6th straight league championship. However, we are looking to see who may have an opening or a surprise down season that may take us on as a manager for a new challenge next season. Luxembourg Cup We are on to the quarter finals, but many of the top sides already look to have fallen out. The only two top half teams even remaining are Mondorf and Titus. Stats View A statistical view of the starting XI. We may start rotating heavily after we are knocked out of the Champions league as this being our last season here. We are not as worried about upsetting players. Outgoing Transfer One outgoing transfer decided prior to the window opening is Vantukh. The 30 year old was able to fetch nearly $35,000 in a move to promotion-favorites Marisca in the division below. I imagine he will be starting for them. Famous Face in Management I didn't notice last month, but it appears a famous player has finally agreed to a manager role in the Luxembourg pyramid. Manuel Neuer took over a mid-table Progres and is attempting to bring them back into an European place. Hopefully he will hang around and bring in more high reputation talent to the league. Next Games 6 games including our final two league phase games are next month. I am going to add a ton of free youngster names to the transfer targets list to see if we can encourage the DoF to stockpile a mountain of talent that will hopefully matriculate throughout the Luxembourg pyramid once we leave. Thanks for following along and best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  7. November 2028 Schedule A surprise perfect month as we face a ill-prepared AS Monaco and emerge 5-3 winners. Cochrane earned his money that day as he had 5 saves including a penalty save and an 8.2 rating. Luxembourg National Division We expand the gap to 14 points, but 2nd place has 2 games in hand. Meanwhile Parisi has been playing lights out in this competition, and despite being Model Citizen he has been making waves about not getting more first team playing time. Champions League Our two strikers of Gueye and Screbec are tied for joint highest scorers in the Champions League. I think if we can get one more point from our last three matches we have a good shot at making it to the next round. Luxembourg Cup We have had two easy cup rounds and we are now back to National Division competition in Kips and Schifflange. Vantukh and Sueliton have been playing well, but unfortunately they almost immediate started complaining to us about their playing time. You try to do a nice thing... Maybe we do just have too many players. Player Spotlight His speed has made impact any time he gets on the field. Amourricho van Axel Dongen is starting, and remains a higher CA but if this form of Parisi keeps up, Dongen may be displaced. Next Games 8 games next month, and probably the most favorable tie ,if any in the Champions League, Fenerbahce upcoming. Third XI Here are the third stringers. I will likely put the least productive 5-6 players from this group on the developmental list by month's end. Right now I am hedging towards... Transfer listing Vantakh at 30 years old. Possibly loan listing Moller, Michelini, Braspenning, Solar, and Onyshchenko. That may change with injury and/or playing time discontentment, but those appear to be the players with the most potential I'm anxious to get more playing time for. Thanks for following along and best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  8. October 2028 Schedule Perfect domestically, but no points gained in Europe. Competitions We are now a 1/3 of the way through the season and already starting to form a gap between us and the rest of the league. Squad Stats The first teamers are playing incredibly. Nascimento with 16 goals in 22 appearances. Van Axel Dongen with 14 assists out of left attacking midfielder. Also pumped that the transfer values are starting to grow. Many of the first team is verging on 100-200K in value. Team Defensive Finally our defensive form has held domestic opposition to under a goal a game. Nearly half our league games being clean sheets is also a huge leap forward. We are starting to walk this league and so I think this may indeed be our last season here at US Hostert. Next Games 8 games next month with a fun away fixture against Monaco. A home game against Kips at Schifflange and home to Jofre at Atert. Thanks for following along and best of luck in your own saves. Let's go lads!
  9. September 2028 Schedule Double Champions League wins to start. Unfortunately that will likely be the only results we will get in this competition. In other news we have definitely made back the money spent on Cochrane. Super Cup Win! We also managed to win the super cup. We had 8 or so players out on international duty. So it was little more nerve wracking then expected. Their keeper had something like 10 saves. We are inevitable though. Competitions 4 points off the top with 2 games in hand. Still undefeated, but we finally dropped points this season with two draws against 1st and 3rd place. Finally got a nice draw against a 3rd division team in the cup, and next round we are drawn against a 4th division team. Going to try to play the 3rd teamers in the cup as long as it doesn't rankle the play time promises. Best Potential Players Thought I would show some of our best up and coming talent. Our best three are all fullbacks. Dual sided fullbacks at that. Prospect Outlook Jofre has spend two seasons in the 2nd Division, but got Atert Bissen promoted last season. They are predicted a 18th place finish but he has them all the way up in 8th position right now in the National Division. Pequeno is the first name on the bench and thus has made an appearance in every game but one for the senior team already this season. Next Games Due to postponement of a match or two we are about to experience our most congested fixture schedule ever with 10 games in the upcoming month. Two big games against Real Madrid and Juventus. Thanks for reading along and best of luck in your own saves. By the way I am strongly debating moving on to another team in Luxembourg next season in this save. Might use the winter window to buy up a lot of foreign talent that might normally not make their way organically to Luxembourg. Cheers!
  10. August 2028 Schedule A perfect month. We are now into the Champions League League Phase. Competitions We again are predicted last of the teams that remain in the Champions League. We are undefeated to start the season though in the league. Progres Knocked Out The last Luxembourgish team to almost make a league phase was Progres who made it all the way to the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Conference League. One more win and they were in. However, they came up one goal short against St. Gallen. Would have been nice to have another professional team, but we will have to wait. Transfers Then we were raided. Manchester United purchased Henke. He was actually denied a permit, but they bought him anyway. He is homegrown with us so this hurts. We are getting 400k for him though, and he is back on loan with us for the rest of the season. All in all not a bad deal, but sorry to lose our long-time stalwart guy in goal. Antunes was the same. We put him off as long as we could, but the team and DoF agreed he was to go to Genoa for 400k as well. I think we could have held out for more. They refused to loan him back, and now aren't playing him. Hope he is happy now. We then figured we need a new keeping prospect and found this Chilean either footed keeper. Abascal from Universidad Católica in Chile's First Division. We immediately put him on the developmental list and found him a loan to league side Racing FC Luxembourg. Central Midfielders That brings us to our midfield pipeline. Starting is Bugarin and Spasovski. Neither of which have great potential, but have been able to hold their own in Europe. Second pairing is Pablo and Emili. These two have a great partnership, and I try not to separate our two homegrown Spaniards. Third is Michelini and Van de Corput. Van de Corput helped Rumelange promote to the top flight last season after averaging a 6.91 in 23 appearances. Meanwhile Michelini could not save FC Résidence Walferdange from relegation to the Division of Honour last season. Both are fairly equal and will split any playing time due to suspension or injury. Milivoj Bugarin The passing skill of Bugarin is incredible. On top of that his ability to move off ball is a big plus. He is a constant assist and goal threat despite low finishing. I think he has more potential, but most of the staff feel he is what he is. Luka Spasovski Physical with great teamwork and work rate. The Macedonian has some upside. However, other than one good game against FC Santa Coloma this season. I haven't quite found his best form yet. Next Games We are back up to a good balance, but we are going to need to stay vigilant to stay in good financial fair play. Next up is Lorentzweiler a team that has surprised many in staying up in the top flight. Then on to the league phase against PAOK. Thanks for following along and best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
  11. July 2028 Schedule Double wins in the Champions League. Next up is FC Flora Tallinn of Estonia. Transfers First of our exits was Walther. 2 games shy of his 100th cap. Wormeldange were looking to get back in the playoff picture and picking up our versatile attacking midfielder was the first order of business. Ajdini has been growing well, but seemed just too far away from the pack that we figured he could do someone else more good. So we gifted him to our affiliate who had first swing and no one matched their generous $15,000 bid. They move up to 8th in the 2nd Division predictions and now have a new number 1. Marcelo was our best sell of the month as Diekirch raided our unwanted list. They have been saving well as they dropped a big fee of $25,000 for the Brazilian center back. Lastly, we are parting with Jo Braun. He is good, but he moved down to 3.5 stars PA before we sold him. (Of course he goes back up the moment he leaves.) I just don't think he was gonna pull up trees with us. So we got him a sweetheart deal to assist the Young Boys Diekirch as they look to get to mid-table and safety. He comes in as their starting keeper it appears. Starting XI This is the new look starting XI. Amazingly after a lights out season Gueye is the first guy to possibly lose his spot. After that 20 goal performance though, I think it will take a while for those average ratings to come back down to earth. Next Game Flora may be another easier tie in the road to the league phase, but the winner faces either HNK Rijeka or Sparta Prague. Both are better than us. These are the last two rounds until the league phase. I feel like that means we are either in the Champions League Phase or the Europa League Phase. This has been a wild window, but we have been able to bring the total wage budget down maybe $8,000 a week so I feel a little better. Plus, we are now back below 60 players at the club. I think our biggest worry now is financial fair play. Sure we can buy a guy worth 12 million, but now that is 12 million in loss. To pass fair play we can't incur more than 5.5 million or so in loss. Meaning. We need to be misers. If we win every last game we can and get our bank balance back up to 25 million. I think we may be safe. Thanks for listening to me contemplate how to fix this new reality. Best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
  12. June 2028 Schedule We get drawn against FC Santa Coloma. The winner will play either Lincoln Red Imps FC or Víkingur R.. National Division - Media Prediction Our wage budget has now inflated to a mid-table Skybet League One team. Everyone else is probably around upper table Vanarama National League teams in wage. Those who see the crazy part of this screen... hold on to your seats. Transfers In The DoF went nuts! Spending $400,000 on Guillou to supplement our left back position. He isn't even starting but will be a common name off the bench. We were just grateful he held back on the wages. Then he went and threw the kitchen sink at this keeper from Peterborough. 12 MILLON DOLLARS! What the hell. Then he is giving $20,000 a week in wages!!!! Good lord, he is inconsistent and injury prone. I think I am going to be sick. He is our best player for sure, but good god... Finances We are now at $131,000 a week in wages. I honestly don't even know how to manage at this kind of level with this level of money and talent. Next Game We should win against FC Santa Coloma, but if we don't this is the biggest "F" in the transfer market ever. Good help us. Why did I think this kind of save would be fun. Best of luck in your saves. Lord have mercy on our bank balance...
  13. Season Review (Mid-June 2028) First XI Highlights are Gueye scoring 44 goals in 49 appearances. Maybe a little bit of a let down is Sagoy only averaging a 6.79 in his 18 appearances to end the season. Makes he feel better about replacing him with Temelkov next season. Sorry to see Onyshchenko fall down towards a squad player/second teamer as he has seemed like a big contributor, but may be a good weapon off the bench. Second XI Best of the second string is Pablo with 24 goal contributions in 44 appearances (he is now home grown), and Vantukh who continues to be impactful in all three phases of the game. I know Vantukh is headed to the third string, but he was a great stop gap the last two seasons. Sigurdarson won't go out on loan until next season winter maybe, but his potential is one we are looking forward to. Jofre looks to be giving us tons of depth options at wingback as well. Third XI Best of the "bottom of the senior team and top of the reserves" was Wouter de Haan although he is starting to fall between the influx of talent. Meanwhile Rosina did not have the season on loan I was hoping for. Maybe he was ok all around, but certainly not making us crave to put him in the first team. Reserves/Youth Teams The last batch is the players no where close to the first team right now. Everyone with a "T" is slated for transfer, and will be put on the unwanted list when they return from loan. Teah is the best of the bunch. Meanwhile Braun is the only player we have kept from the last 3 youth intakes. Just wanted to gift this quick recap before the stats and leagues reset. Thanks for reading. Hope everyone is enjoying their saves. Please let me know if anyone wishes to have a copy of the database to attempt their own save. Cheers!
  14. May 2028 Champions! We dominated. We are Treble winning Champs! Schedule 11 goals in May's two games. Luxembourg National Division A huge 29 point winning margin. Edrees does go down though. Progres, Titus, and Sandweiler join us in Europe. Luxembourg Division of Honour Wiltz, Atert Bissen, and Racing join us back in the top flight. Racing and Wiltz just relegated and Atert relegated the season before so they may still be a gap in talent between the top flight and the Division of Honour. Hosingen, Useldange, and Syra Mensdorf all go right immediately back down. Transfers We got two incredible new players, but they costed us blowing out our wage budgeting goals. I don't know why I bother lol. The Macedonian 20 year old Temelkov comes in as an immediate first teamer in the back four. Then with Gueye being able to move over to AMR the DoF figured we needed a real top scorer. Bringing in 21 year old Croatian giant Scrbec. This absolute monster comes straight into the first team up top and on surprisingly good wage. Renting A Stadium (Stadium Expansion) The board then tell us that due to their massive stadium upgrade we are moving to a 2,000 all-seater stadium. Sharing a ground with UNA Strassen. The board then tell us they have paid a massive $120,000 to get us 1,000 more seats and will be done towards the end of next season. Progress I suppose, but less than we were hoping for. All-seater should help the ticket sales though. Awards Gueye does well and secures three top flight awards the golden boot, player of the year, and youth of the year. Meanwhile Teah is 3rd in voting for 2nd Division player of the year. Best of all we make a clean sweep of the youth best of the 2nd division. This was a big update and award month. I still need to update everyone on the players stars and stats. That will come next month. Thanks for following along and best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
  15. April 2028 Schedule Champions! We do it at the first time of asking. That is is our 5th straight. It led to a perfect month. Achieving records in goals, points, wins, and points gap winning the league. Luxembourg National Division Gueye is getting notices of being tipped to win awards we will have to wait and see. Kips managed to play every game this season for Schifflange and they are now safe from relegation. Luxembourg Division of Honour Wiltz promote back up the the top flight. Our affiliates in Alliance are safe. Playoff places are a mess on the last day. We will have to wait for the next update to see who will join us next season. Luxembourg Cup Our next game is the cup final, and we are anxious to bring it back home. Staff Resigning We used most of this month to resign numerous staff and bring our staff to capacity. We now have a new Italian perfectionist as Head of Youth Development, Romulo. We also extended the contract of numerous players yet we still have maybe 20 players to resign prior to next season. Upgraded Finances The board almost tripled our wage budget. We are gonna economize a bit next season. Our goal is to stay under $90,000 a week in wage spends. I also hope that getting back under 60 total players at the club will help shave off a little fat as well. Board Upgrades The board has been fairly nice about approving requests, but the winter window rejected requests just dropped off. Plus, how tough is it to agree to a few coaching courses with 35 million in the bank? Next Game The scouts are saying we have a big advantage against Progres in quality, but they are the number two side in the country for a reason. So if we could lose to anyone domestically, they could be it. This is the final two games to end the year. We are confident we can go and get the treble. Best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  16. March 2028 Schedule Flawless in the league. A tough away leg had us worried against Differdange, but we spanked them 4-0 at home. We are on to the finals against Progres in May. Luxembourg National Division We are one point away from the title. Our next game should clinch it. This coming season the 2nd place team is now into the Europa League. Progres seems to have that locked down. Titus, Sandweiler, and Differdange look to have the best shot at the last two European spots. Defensive Midfielder Our defensive midfield depth really is interchangeable with a lot of central midfield talent, but the two we are sure about is... Starting has been Antunes and backing him up is Pablo. Pablo is now officially Luxembourgish. He will be eligible to play for the Luxembourgish National Team in just under 3 seasons. Which would make him one of the first of our talented youngsters to play for Luxembourg after being purchased and playing for us. He has regularly ~45 games each of the last three seasons. He may see a slight drop next season, but I would still imagine 30 games being the norm for him. My favorites of the remainder include Rosina and Micola. Although both Leal and Nys can pay in the bottom of our midfield too. Basically we are waiting for one of these players to distinguish himself. Right now it is Rosina unless I'm looking for more of a defensive anchor. Then I would see if Leal can be spared from the center back depth to slot in. How the loans are going... Michelini - with FC Résidence Walferdange fighting it out in 17th place in the National Division. Theya re safe for now but are just 1 point away from the relegation zone. He may just be what they need to stay up. Rosina - is with FC Syra Mensdorf in the exact same spot in the division below, but 17th is relegation bound in the Division of Honour. Rosina has his side about 2 points away from safety. Hopefully he can make that happen. Micola - playing with CS Fola Esch-Alzette in the playoff place in the 2nd division. 6 points ahead of 6th place. If he can lead them through the playoffs he may have them up with us next season in the National Division. Very different locations for the three players, but the loans shake out in weird ways sometimes based on team needs. Honorato Antunes This Angolan stud has been great for us. He has been truly unflappable. He doesn't make waves and with that stamina he is always available and the first name on the team sheet. The jumping reach, teamwork, and work rate are huge pluses as well. He just needs his passing to improve, because right now he is really more of a ball winning midfielder. Pablo Pablo is the other side of the coin. Great vision and passing. He regularly finds himself in attacking positions. Really happy to have him off the bench especially when we are trying to waste time passing the ball around the park. Next Games 5 games next month. Unfortunately we won't be playing Edrees away at CS Grevenmacher as they have already found a replacement for him in goal. I wonder if they will be moving him on next window, or if he is going to force a move away. Especially if they get relegated. Lets go secure the second trophy of the season. Best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
  17. February 2028 Schedule Good month and we are on to the semi finals of the cup against Differdange. Luxembourg National Division We are gliding through the league, but unfortunately we have trouble meeting the minimum games played requirements for most of the player awards. David may have a shot at the golden boot though. Defenders Left The left wingback depth has an exciting future. Right now the senior team depth chart is Candelaria, Vantukh, and Sigurdarson. The backup that really plays above his skill level is Vantukh. He has created 19 clear cut chances in 21 appearances, and 4 goals. 3 times, player of the match. Both Sigurd and Jofre are the most exciting. Jofre is on loan at FC Atert Bissen in the second division and they are thriving in 2nd place. Media Prediction had been 9th. Sigurd would be out on loan too, but he is the only 17 years old meaning he is able to utilize mentoring and training facilities without being hurt by the lack of play time. Van de Maele is on loan with FC Alliance Aischdall Hobscheid-Eischen (our affiliate). They have had a tough season though and ended up in 14th despite a 10th place prediction. Even while having our old player Balsa Perković currently in 2nd across the division in goals scored. Jayden Candelaria The Feyenoord prospect has been really consistent. Hovering around a 6.97 average rating whilst going up against the best teams in Europe. He is well rounded creating some chances, getting on the end of some chances, and intercepting a couple balls every game. He isn't overwhelming anywhere, but he is holding his own. Maybe over the last three months he can silence the doubters saying he hasn't earned that inflated wage. Reserve & U18 Leagues The reserves have had very few players at their disposal therefore they have drifted back to 4th in the standings. Any third teamers like de Haan and Robin that do play minutes really light it up at this level. I don't have any justification for this other than performances. However, it seems like this league is roughly third tier or First Division of Luxembourg in quality. The U18s are doing great though as they have always had 4 or more active players at their disposal throughout the season. Gilon has been the most consistent for us. He is judged as Division of Honour in quality meaning by our estimate this league is equivilent to a middle ground between the 3rd and 4th tier. (The would be the First Division and Lower Divisions of Luxembourg respectively.) League Wage Budgets As you can see we are spending 4 times the next highest wage budget among top flight sides. Although we basically have 60+ players so we basically have double the players of any of our competition. (Not to mention we are feeding players to half the 2nd division.) I wonder where we would be at wage-wise if we could pair down to 33 players or so. Hope you enjoyed this little look behind the curtain. Thanks for following along. Best of luck in your own saves. Now lets go get the Treble boys!
  18. January 2028 Schedule A miracle goal disallowed in the Stade de Luxembourg against Milan has us claiming another million dollars prior to our 29th place league phase finish. Champions League 1 win and 4 draws was a great showing our first time. Really wish we would have been able to pull off the win against FC Midtjylland. We still would have been bounced out on goal differential but I think that was one of our most winnable fixtures. Luxembourg National Division We are now about 2/3 of the way through the season and we are flying high 17 points clear of 2nd. I hardly feel like playing the starters, but their playing time expectations demand them playing some of these fixtures. Transfers Fila was one of the top two incomings. He slots into the second XI. He was a great addition after a tragic spine injury to Willian Nascimento our sensational Brazilian attacking player. Willian will be out the remainder of the season. Sagoy was a total lucky shot. He looked as though he was out of contract and the DoF found him. We have been trying to steer clear of centerbacks. Yet, he was so good he immediate found his way into the starting lineup. Especially as transfers outgoing started to pick up. Vlaovic was out for 5 months to start the season and just was a victim of being the oldest midfielder on a squad getting younger and younger. He was able to secure a free transfer to Union Sportive Rumelange who are currently in 19th place in the National Division. With us paying half his contract he comes in as their best player, and hopefully gives them a second life this season. UN Käerjéng '97 who are 10th in the Division of Honour were in desperate need of a midfielder. Jovanovic was looking to have an uphill battle to get back into the senior squad. So we decided to see what domestic clubs might pay. We were able to get Käerjéng to invest and he leaves us for $4,000. He will lead their midfield alongside Sam Sims who heads out there as well on loan to lead their defense. Hopefully that gives them back a spine that gives them a chance to make a push for the playoffs. However, they are 11 points from the playoffs. So unless they go on a tear they are roughly where they will end up. Then the squad started to get mad about the second window in a row that Lufi was not gonna find a transfer away. The leadership came to me and demanded a lower bar to selling, and we agreed anything over $250,000 was a must. We ended up getting a great bid from Casa Pia in Portugal. Lufi left for $275,000. Now our new center back fits right in the vacated spot. Loan Farm We are now up to over 28 players on loan. Which is incredible, especially since we started to have that AML congestion. We talked Parisi into a short loan away at Progres. He is easily in their starting XI and we look forward to seeing how he does. Starting XI This is the new look starting 11, but as Schmidtka and Nascimento are injured. We will see José Afonso and Artur Onyshchenko in their places respectively in the meantime. Next Games We are back facing our bogey team in the cup. As you can see the staff think Titus are way below us in quality, but we need to make sure to put them in our rear view mirror. We are torn between micro-managing the wage budget or just to hell with it. Now that we are out of Europe we can show the domestic clubs why they should continue to fear us. Thanks for following along. Best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  19. December 2027 Schedule A good month with 8 games played. We also managed to knock out two top flight teams from the cup. We play Titus in the next round. We also face our last two Champions League opponents next month, Napoli and AC Milan. Competitions Unless we can win won of those last two games we are out of the champions league. We are at a respectable coefficient total for the year, so I can live with that. Central Defenders We have a ton of defensive talent. I will most likely me putting 3 or so names on the unwanted list in the summer. The senior team depth is as follows. First XI is Mas and Lufi. Second XI is Rogerio and Moller. Third Xi is Sims and Jolovic. Jolovic hasn't had any playtime and will be out on loan for sure. Sims is wanted as well, but with a few injuries happening around the club I think I'll keep him for cover. Rogerio and Moller are amazing second stringers. That have impact, and don't make mistakes and with Moller they provide a ton of versatility off the bench. Lufi is great, his numbers have dipped a little as we have been playing him primarily against tough Champions League competition. Meanwhile Mas is the guy in the box. With enough work rate and speed to not make us feel too guilty for having him up there. A quick overview of the three headed monsters of the future. Leal, Nys, and Nagy. All three are in the Division of Honour getting good gametime. Nagy leads the three in key tackles with 8. Nys leads the league in key headers with 24. Meanwhile Leal leads the league in headers won % with 84%. Jolovic has a lot to prove out on loan with this lot chasing his heels. Miguel Mas The 'Jumping Reach King'. Anticipation and ball control could use some work, but he is such a disruptive weapon. Got to love it. Ismet Lufi A little better all around with no high-highs except some great mentals. With his teamwork and work rate he really has become the perfect partner for a more offensive centerback like Mas. Transfers Last month started off with the DoF finding this winger for another huge some of money. he has played well so far in the cup with 2 assists in 4 starts, and he is an improvement don't me wrong. He is a little worrisome though, as he is expensive and injury prone. Meddour finally was playing more games in the reserves than with the senior time and we are having to let him go. He is off to Rosport who are 19th in the National Division and he will try to help them survive the relegation battle. Or perhaps bounce right back up. Incoming is this Islandic wingback. Only costing us $60,000 from Akranes in the Islandic Premier Division. Love when the DoF can bring these guys in before 18 years old. He may have an outside shot at an appearance or two at leftback this season, but most likely he will be training in the youth teams as our training setup here is better than most senior setups in and around Luxembourg. Parisi is a pacey Argentinian winger that we found for $110,000 from Lujan. He comes in much better than we though current ability wise and now we have a few too many AMLs. I don't know if Parisi would consider going out to a top National Division side, but that may be the answer if our new attacking talent can not co-exist. Last but not least is a domestic import. Gifting Medernach $40,000 for his signature, and letting him immediately go back on loan to them for the remainder of the season. This is a big overpay, but hopefully the occasional domestic cash injection can help teams down the pyramid. Thanks for following along as we head into another wild transfer window. Best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
  20. November 2027 Schedule A good month with two more draws in the Champions League. Quiet around the club which is nice as we usually have to take a couple promises and experience a injury crisis or two by this point. Competitions We are now 12 points ahead in the league without even getting to the halfway point yet. We are also at the every edge of European knockout positions. As for the cup it appears we are back to only facings national division sides again. So we are going to have to be careful when rotating in that competition to not have a repeat of last season. Defenders Right Wingback on the right depth looks really good. Yahya leads the way followed by Noor and Almeida. Ballarini could give Almeida competition for that third spot, but was able to get a good loan at our affiliate club Alliance in the Division of Honour. He appears to be playing well there but no big attacking or midfield contributions. Both he and Almeida are better defenders then players in transition. For now at least. Luguez is with Kehlen in the second tier as well and has become their key player. His form has helped them climb out of the relegation predicted position and into 14th place currently. Meanwhile in the senior team Noor is a great contributor chipping in 4 assists and creating 10 clear cut chances. As for the final spot we will see how Almeida does back out on loan next window to judge who will be back in the senior team next season. Charles Yahya Charles is very consistent with the ability to use either foot and likes to pass the ball around which we like. Not a lot of growth though. Not sure how to help his low self-belief. Does he need professional mentoring or someone spirited? Need to look into how to get more out of him. Data Hub We are tearing things up in the league as you can see our general performance is the top in several categories. Looks like we could do a better job of winning tackles. Otherwise we look great. Thanks for reading along. Next update we will be past the half-way mark. Wishing anyone reading the best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  21. October 2027 Schedule A perfect month expect a understandable loss to titans Real Madrid. 20 goals in 4 games to start the month was incredible. Competitions We are pulling ahead in the league with 9 points on 2nd place. I think we could actually best our 90 point record this season. Plus, we have rotated well and aren't facing a injury crisis like we did at this point last season. We will most likely fall out of the knockout spots in the Champions league, but another 2-3 points would roughly net us another 2-3 million. Hopefully we can secure that while we are here playing with the big boys. The only bummer is we played Real Madrid in our stadium and not the national stadium. Therefore we only sold 2000 tickets. Goalkeepers Keeper is probably our biggest area of change from last season. With Kips and Edrees moving on. Our new senior team keeper are in order, Henke, Jorge, and Duarte Diniz. Jorge is doing well. He just came off a slight injury so he is playing a little with the reserves. Duarte played well in the cup, but that was against 3rd tier competition. Ajdini is on loan with FC The Belval Belvaux in the Division of Honour outplaying their 17th place media prediction and currently sitting in 10th place. He has only conceded 16 goals in 12 apps in the league down there, and claimed 3 clean sheets. Meanwhile new lad Bataille is with FC Koerich in the Luxembourg First Division South. They are currently sitting in 3rd place in a good place to compete for promotion to the second tier. He was loaned out late in the window, but is doing well only conceding 8 goals in 8 games in the league with 2 clean sheets. Super young group with a lot of upside. Part of me wants to get an older backup that can hold down the fort while Jorge and Duarte get some time out on loan this winter. I wanted to also give a little update on Kips and Edrees both are unfortunately in the lower left quadrant; the two best of the lower quadrant but still. Kips has conceded 23 in 14 apps. Edrees is the worse in the league with 30 conceded in 14 apps. Both are in the relegation places. So it really goes to show you that the backend of our senior team are really that edge of the 1st tier to the top of the 2nd tier in quality. Oliver Henke Henke has been getting a lot of interest. Luckily no one went above his 200% value in a bid thus he was never triggered to leave, but he did get upset for a month or so. He is such a great player on such a tremendous contract. I hope we can hang on to him for another season or two at least. To give you an idea how impactful he is... he started 44 games last season and only conceded 47 goals with 16 clean sheets. 17 of those starts were in Europe too. Stadium Expansion After that poor financial draw against Real Madrid we demanded the club expand the arena. They really didn't want to, but we eventually forced it through. Interestingly we only average 629 seats sold every home game in the league, but anytime we play in Europe the turnout is huge. Often selling us out on seats. Club Overview We have slowly brought the facilities up, but we still need a lot of work. The board really seem hesitant. All the "we will be left behind by our rivals" arguments with the board never work because everyone has terrible facilities in Luxembourg. We have a nice slow two months match-wise prior to the winter window. Look forward to giving you another update soon. Let me know if you want to see any stats, player, or league panels in particular. Thanks for reading along and best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  22. September 2027 Schedule A nearly perfect week with 4 points gained in the Champions League. That is nearly 4 million more in prize money. As well as a easy Super Cup win against Titus to win another 150k in prize money. Competitions 2 games in hand in the league and sitting in 1st place. Looking forward to starting the 2nd/3rd stringers against Wincrange in the cup. We have almost never been drawn against a First Division or Lower Division side. So it will be nice to have some breathing room fixture wise. We are also starting to get some players leaving on international duty so we can postpose a game here and there. This will hopefully give us some rest too. Strikers We have helped our striker depth since last we looked over the pipeline. Gueye leads the way followed by Solar and Haan. Ram is on loan and scoreless despite 5 starts. He scored 10 goals in 7 league appearance last season with us in the top flight so this form in the Division of Honour is disappointing. Busche is with CS Fola Esch-Alzette in the promotion playoff spots in the 2nd division. He is doing better with 5 goals in 9 appearances. Deniau is so far behind he would need to make leaps and bounds to even get close to the senior team. Takeaways... I would like Haan to play more, but he is 5th in overall on striker depth chart despite being in the senior team. He just doesn't get a lot of opportunity. However, he will be going out on loan in the winter window. Ibrahima Gueye Gueye is awesome. I love that he shoots from distance it gets him chances in Europe that we could not have had otherwise. He is also very clinical with 9 goals in 5.66 xG. I just hope he can continue to improve especially since we usually only get a season before a big team in Europe comes in for a guy like this. Luxembourg Super Cup An absolute thrashing in the Super Cup. We started to pull people off and they got a consolation goal. We are the giants of Luxembourg and truthfully it is not even very close to competitive anymore when our best XI is out there. 9 games next month. I'm hoping we can play the 3rd stringers in 1 or 2 of them. Hopefully we can make some big money at home against Real Madrid this month as well. Thanks for following along. Best of luck in your own saves, cheers!
  23. August 2027 Schedule Incredible showing in the Champions League making it to the League Phase, and thus we collect a cool 15 million in prize money for it. Competitions Still only in 10th with 2 games in hand and some dropped points in the league thus far. We are without a doubt the weakest team in the Champions League League Phase. Transfers We have had a slow window and it closes on the 2nd. So we still see some deadline transfers, but the two best that were brought in this month are both young guys for the future that we were able to secure loans out for. Nagy has good potential but is certainly a step behind the senior team right now. He goes out to Syra in the 2nd division, and appears to slot into their first team. Valette was languishing in Mondorf and they had him on a non-contract otherwise we would have tried to gift them some money. He goes on loan to Hosingen in the Division of Honour and will be part of their attacking three. Really excited to see how that finishing does in the league below. Finances We have been trying to give money away, but most of the players we have been trying to acquire from the teams in Luxembourg have been on non-contracts. The upside is we have been able to secure 5 'two-year' loan moves for some of the guys in the reserve team this window. Champions League As you can see we are the bottom of the barrel in the Champions League and really had tough draws against Young Boys and Legia (who were just a few more spots down from us). Loan Farm That brings us to 20 players on loan. We usually don't hit that many until after the winter window. That also brings the 2-year loan agreement total to 7 players which is really nice when you the DoF is handling the ins and outs. I'm hoping a full season out will help Pace, Teah, and Ram find some potential left in the tank. Otherwise they may be sold, or continuously be loan fodder. Other European Teams Our last cohort in Europe was Swift and they were knocked out in the 3rd round qualifier in the Conference League. Valiant effort. I don't know how long this save will go, but I hope the quality of our team gets good enough that some loan guys can help other European squads, but as of right now. Our reserves are 2nd division or yo-yo quality. (Essentially players that would start for top Division of Honour teams or relegation candidates in the National Division.) Thank for following along. Looking to rotate the side heavily this season. Excited to see how the team performs. Best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  24. July 2027 Schedule We won handedly against Newtown then after losing one of the young striker transfer prospects to ZTE. Fate would pair us in the next round, and we proved to that transfer target how wrong that choice was. Which brings us to the third round and a matchup against Legia. Europa Conference League - League Path Second Qualifying Round Meanwhile all the Luxembourg teams made it to the 2nd round, but only one managed to make it to the 3rd. FC Swift Hesperange face a hard tie against Fehérvár FC of Hungary. This will likely be the end of their run, but it was good to see some progress. Luxembourg National Division - Media Prediction 81% odds of winning the league for us with 8 players in the media dream 11. After us there seems to have formed a top 5. Then it is pretty even in strength until 11th place in the league. Transfers In It finally happened as the DoF got a permanent left back option. We cried when we realized he is spending 5 times our highest earner on this one player. He doesn't even like big matches. Even worse he has a release clause of only $120,000 which is barely a fourth of what he costs a year. Next was Mili who we snagged on a free from NK Kurilovec from Croatia. He is also unfortunately on a minimal release clause of $73,000. His passing is incredible, but I don't know if he will be able to keep up physically. Transfers Out Kips continued to make waves about not playing as much and with our backup Jorge returning from loan we agreed to the best deal we could get. FC Schifflange '95 who was 16th in the league last season. The media are predicting their finish anywhere between 6th and 11th. Look forward to seeing how Kips does starting in front of goal. We tried to get Duarte to agree to a smaller contract, but eventually ended up settling with a $45,000 deal with Marisca. Especially once he fell out of the top 3 right backs at the club. Marisca is predicted 2nd and immediately slots into the starting 11 for them in the Division of Honour. Leon Schmit also agreed to leave us for the division below for $5,000. He also appears to be in the media best eleven. Division of Honour Amazingly our current players on loan or former players account for 5 of the media best 11. Finances We have already lost a significant amount of money this season. Most of which was ground maintenance. Our income including prize money last month was just below 500k and our player salaries alone consume 380k. We are gonna likely need to let those new acquisitions go in the next window, if we can't resign them to better terms. Overall, we are going to need to be smart with our budgets going forward as I think the increase in wage space will make the DoF negotiations on player contracts likely to increase as well. It should be an interesting season. With a lot of story lines to follow. Thanks for reading along. Best of luck in your own saves. Let's go Auslänners!
  25. June 2027 Schedule Our first matchup of the new season is Newtown just like last season. Our Luxembourgish counter parts are in the Europa Conference... Progres is playing against FC Shakhter Soligorsk of Belarus. Titus Petange is playing against FC Spartak Trnava of Slovakia. Swift is playing against JK Narva Trans of Estonia. Hopefully we can all move on to the next round. Competition Rankings Also our competitions all got a boost in Luxembourg. The top flight is now better than league 2 and the French National league. Meanwhile the Division of Honour has moved up to the around the Vanarama north and south and the Andorran top league levels. Transfers We have 3 guys outgoing prior to the loanees returning. Matos is headed to the Luxembourg First Division South. Racing Troisvierges were relegated to the Luxembourg Lower Division (4th Tier, unplayable) in 2024 they managed to save themselves from relegated last year after promoting back up to the 3rd tier. Hopefully Matos who is coming in as their starting left back can help them achieve some mid-table security. We also were able to bring in 6 new players. We swung and missed on a couple top prospects, but to get starters we need to be willing to drop nearly 200k a year in salary, and I have been hesitant to suggest any of those player in transfer targets in case the DoF overpays even that. However, we did overpay a bit on a personal bid I made for Remco Gilon an attacking midfielder and striker prospect from Racing Luxembourg to help inject some cash now that they got relegated to the Division of Honour last season. I hope to make another charity buy or two as I would like some young talent that can sit a few years in the youth teams. (Our youth intakes have continually been trash the last few years.) Transfers Out Edrees was a squad keeper for us for roughly three seasons, and the last two seasons had optimistic loans out, but failed to secure any consistent playing time. However Club Sportif Grevenmacher won the 2nd division in Luxembourg and are now looking for a consistent starter to help keep them in the top flight. I offered Edrees out specifically to yo-yo teams on a discount with 50% of his salaries covered by us, and immediately had a taker in the newly promoted side. They are predicted to finish 19th, but he is their number one between the sticks. It will be exciting to see how he does for them. We look forward to playing against Edrees in November and April. We will mark our calendars. Next was Bah. He was just good enough to secure maybe 2k in fees, but most of the Luxembourgish teams didn't seem to want to pay that so we tried another discount with wage contribution. We got another hit this time with Kehlen who just won the Luxembourg First Division North Championship. Perhaps their is an AI urgency when promoting or a reputation bump that is allowing newly promoted teams to make these acquisitions. Bah takes the number 11 jersey and has them moving up to a mid-table league position in the media prediction. Bah finished 7th in the 3rd division last season with Mamer. So our best wishes as he tries to help his new team thrive after promotion. Transfers In We were surprised and impressed to see the DoF bring in a competitor for the left wing-back spot from Once Caldas S.A. in Columbia, but he immediately left within less then a week on recall. So, that brings us back down to 5 guys incoming. Then we finally hit on a striker. Ibrahima Guèye of Senegal. He was tearing up the Senegalese League 2 with CNEPS Excellence and averaging a 7.5 average rating. He is a little hefty wage wise, but after a few misses and the DoF even failing in negotiations himself. He offered me a swing at negotiating, and I got him to agree to squad role and a little over 1k a wage a week. Very thrilled as we were looking thin in that phase of the team. Board Vision The board is just as adamant in their goals this season, and are expecting us to continue to go and win everything. So we are most likely going to save the first teamers for the Cup competitions and the Second teamers for the league. the third teamers will likely be cover for both. It think we play roughly 60 competitive games a season so we need the bodies in rotation. Club Reputations Last but not least we are now officially the most reputable team in Luxembourg. I think this season if we can continue our winning ways might be able to see us climb to a 2.5 star rep team. Also tough to see teams like Racing and Fola Esch fall down the leagues a little. 2 teams are Professional in the top flight ourselves and Dudelange. FC Swift Hesperange seems like they are on the cusp, but they were very under-water financially recently so I'm not sure they will become professional without some prize money from Europe. Even making it through one round would do wonders for them. We have a fully semi-professional second division. As well as only 1 amateur team in the 3rd division. Looks like the pyramid is getting better all around. With the loanees coming back soon next month we should have a pretty consistent looking starting eleven take shape. Thanks for following along with this wider look at the nation. Best of luck in your own saves. Cheers!
