  1. One of the reasons why there a change in the 2nd Division for the next year, is that the real format is to make it one league with 14 teams, with all the B teams now going into a new league. But this first year is made up of groups with all the top teams going into a playoff group to play for those two promotion teams. So, when you look at the teams for next year, it will read as 12 teams.

I have made the changes you had suggested for the 2nd and 3rd division, but still running into the same problem with the promotion annoyingly.

This is a file that a mix of real (Hero I-Leagues setup and as much as the Indian State leagues possible) and a Super league which is fantasy. The 3rd division is supposed to come into existence in 2024, and the way it should be formed is invited teams from State FA and accepted if they meant the Indian FA criteria, what the 2nd division used to be. This is why I thought having the best teams from the lower division would be best to add into the league.

Your Hero 2nd Division promotions aren't working. Upload the file (you can drag and drop it into a post). Can't say why exactly without looking at it, there are a lot of things that could be causing it.

It is not an issue with flexible rules, despite what the pop-up says. That won't make a difference.

thank you very much for looking at it and any help possible

  3. Hello anyone who is reading this. I hope you are doing well?

I am hoping someone could help me with my India edit.

The problem I am having is in the screenshot below, both for my Hero 2nd division to I-League and Hero 3rd to 2nd division. the qualifications for all are 2 up and two down, and have marked it in as so. However I am not sure what is going wrong? Can someone help me?

  4. I love the idea, especially with the new announcement by the AFF.

I just have a few questions.

    1.       With the A-League (Division 1) will this just be an Under 21 division or will there be a reserve league for the two divisions as it was not state too clearly.

    2.       What’s the Asian continental qualification be set up as, considering there is no grand final?

    3.       What’s the season format (dates) and is it just play everyone twice?

I would say keep in the grand final competition as it is a fun thing to have. The top team get ACL spot while winner of the Grand final also gets a ACL (if it is not the winner of the league stage)

    Thank you

Firstly on Requirements for Stage 1 you need to remove the Minimum/Maximum teams. That's referring to the previous stage, rather than how many teams qualify. You're effectively telling it to only setup the playoff stage if the league has 8 teams, so the playoff stage never happens.

Secondly, the quarter final should be set to 4 matches, not 2. Matches is the number of individual matchups, not the number of legs.

Also, your ISL League Winners Shield doesn't work as is. Currently you get 2 history entries for the Super League itself and none for the Shield. Add the Shield as Other Competition To Use" on the general page of the league stage and then the history entries should work correctly.

Thank you very much, it works now. :) :D

  6. Hello,

I really want some help in fixing this problem.

I have expanded the Indian Super League 20 teams. so there is the regular season with two rounds (38 games) finishing at 30 April. Then the top 8 play a playoff that finishes on the 20th May. Yet I still get this problem, that not all stages are created.

I have attached the screenshots of my problem and my fixtures list, as well as my fmf if someone can help me with this.

    Thank you very much

    David

  7. Just wanted to say, I am loving this pack and using it at the moment.

However, i would like to point out that NZ is wrong, due to the re-shake of NZ football the whole football system has changed completely.

With some old teams folding, others combing to make new ones etc.

I have attached a file explaining this.

Just thought i would give you the heads up about it.

You can also look at https://www.nzfootball.co.nz/COMPETITIONS/Football/National-League

and the federations pages for all the leagues and cups https://www.nzfootball.co.nz/ABOUT-US/Who-we-are/Our-Federations

  8. Hello,

The thing I am having trouble with are the Playoffs both a simple playoff and a playoff mini league for my full NZ accurate ish dataset.

The cups and how to work them out, mostly how a get FM to make a team move into that regional league.

Each of my teams have already got their local regional division set.

I hope you can help me if you are not too busy.

  9. This India league dataset is an accurate ish mix in a fantasy setup.

Currently in India there are two level one leagues at the top of the pyramid. The Indian Super League which is a closed league of 11 teams. The other is the I-League which is made up of 11 clubs and they have one relegation to the 2nd division.

Here is where it get interesting. All three leagues play from January to April/May. In the early part of the season, is where the state leagues play. The different leagues of Bangalore, Mumbai, Gujarat etc. These teams also play in the I-league and 2nd division.

So, teams play in their state leagues, and what happens is the state leagues can choose to send a respective into the 2nd division which is comprised of 16 teams (one league), unless they are in the I-League.

However, I have made some changes, from the severely lack of current information on some of the state leagues, I could only make 25 state leagues of the some what 32-34 states of India. Each league sends one (champions) into the 2nd division. So, from July to December, the state leagues play, with the champions play into the in a 4 group with a champions playoff of the group winners, with the champions getting promoted. Some state leagues have made up teams which they had been in the league in 2015 (latest data) while other leagues with no data have made up teams with real mostly real stadiums.

The other modifications that has been created is the Super League. It now encompass 20 teams, since India is a country with over a billion people it is a huge market to exploit. So, there are some new clubs, that are the affiliated clubs of the big European clubs and LA galaxy, as well as solo clubs and the Pune city coming back. These are Bayern Jaipur, Lucknow Hotspur, Real Delhi, Surat Barcelona, Patna Passion, Nagpur Oranges, Ahmedabad Galaxy, Pune City, and Indore Zebre. There B teams play in their location state leagues. B teams can not be promoted into the I-League.

The problem I have is all the leagues are verified by the 2nd division never get plays

  10. Hello,

The problem I have with my India is that all the leagues work just not the 2nd Divison.

I had help by Dave77 to make it all work and be verified which it is.

However this is not the case.

the back ground of this data is India league dataset is an accurate ish mix in a fantasy setup.

The problem is with starting the I-League 2nd Divison.
