I forgot to add I also copy a save or 3 to USB too.

Other than a big house fire or cataclysmic event, I'm never losing my save.

Haha, that's dedication. We had a problem with our roof and it leaked into the ceiling which subsequently collapsed inside our bedroom. My laptop was right under the water damage zone and was knackered. I managed to get the hard drive out and it was fine, so transferred the old files across.

  2. I tend to just play the one save for as long as possible. The last few versions of FM I've either started at the bottom in Conference North/South or Scottish League Two.

Had an FM15 game that I played for a couple of years but the file corrupted which prompted me into buying FM17. The corrupted save made me super anal about saving a game now, I do 3 different named files, usually after two games or so. OCD, I know.

I've recently been playing as a newgen player from my save on the previous edition of fm. In my fm18 save I play as Elvis Gjonaj, a Kosovo born England International who came through in a youth intake when I was managing West Ham in Fm17.

I might give this a go, not sure why it's never crossed my mind before.

I often use regen players and squad numbers as passwords.

How did Vietnam's national team do?

There's always a part of me that wants to grow players from smaller nations just to see if I can help contribute to their nation becoming stronger on the international stage lol.  I'm Canadian so my bias is there but alas, we don't often have strong players to choose from XD.

I don't really remember if I'm obvious, don't even remember them being world beaters.

Must admit, I do love an obscure wonderkid.

  5. I had a mustard left-back from Vietnam on FM17, dual-nat with England. Played for Vietnam though, probably best LB in the world at his peak.

Not a player, but when I was manager of Nigeria in the same save I managed to sign the Mauritius U21/U19's manager as a coach and then took him to Cardiff. It was such a struggle to sign any coaches. Eldon Dorza (I think) turned out to be a decent coach.
