  1. That a way of saying that if one were to edit the top 5 CA of players at a club, you believe they'll try to be more aggressive towards higher level talent in the future?
  2. The issue is that would make signings arguably worse for the AI more than the player. A lot of the "issues with AI squadbuilding" in my view can be fixed pretty easily by taking away the player's ability to know exact attributes. Ergo, making them ranges with Mustermann or Starattributes. Players struggle to make bad transfers and then want to complain about the game being too easy when they can spend 100m on 2 elite players who will be great while the AI can't. Or wonderkids as people above mentioned. That's not to say there aren't legitimate issues with AI squadbuilding of course.
  3. Personally have considered this too, as it would be great, but based on the fact FM24 made lower league players perform significantly better than FM23. I find that players in FM23 make significantly more mistakes and it feels much more different level to level than FM24. As such, I don't think they'll do it, which is disappointing, understandable to an extent. Especially because at lower leagues the players are, not good. I think it'd just be easier for them to not have to try to rate the women on the match engine and probably are just making a separate, but similar one which allows women to reach the top of the attributes instead of limiting them to peaking at lower numbers. Simpler learning curve, and maybe as such can make it feel different to Mens' soccer. Especially with goalie play.
  4. FM23 is more fun than FM24 I think FM24 got unfair hate at its launch but yeah FM23 is simply superior, more difficulty, more realistic.
  5. Frankly I think a lot of the outrage over these things is the fact that Football Manager as has been known looks to be sorta just, going away. I mean when you look at this game it looks like it has very little of what it should. Is Womens football even going to be played differently to Mens football? Will it feel any different at all? But at the same time it's like: Our voices do not matter to the game. The forums are not very active most of the time, and even if they were, companies follow the money. SI going for seemingly a more casual route means that the only way for a return to the route the hardcore fans of this game would want is for the game to just fail. To just fail commercially and hope that SI sees that as them abandoning their fans. To me these dev updates show that they were focusing on casual streamlining and are focused on graphics over gameplay. The possible tifos they can add, the stadiums having much more potential and variation and realism. Because the graphics could hook new players and SI could go and readd these features with huge announcements as "new". That's why I think they aren't releasing anything on the graphics, they could be the great hook to get people immersed into the game. And in the end we don't have control of that, the 30 of us mad on here about the game? Yeah that's getting ignored by SI, and again, understandably so. The people who were complaining about hockey scoring in FM24? Most stayed, FM24 has higher average players online than FM23 did in its release window. But it is disappointing that for people to get the change they'd want probably have to hope the game fails sales wise. People drop off the game? Unlikely to happen, and even then, they have the money from it because SI is one of the only companies that doesn't release mid year DLC for profit. Lot of it comes down to, is the series genuinely going to improve and be a sim, or is it not and be dumbed down. I don't know.
  6. It was one of two things that came out of this blog and is just such an insanely petty thing to add to a devblog that probably signifies that development is just, cooked.
  7. On attributes as well, I'm just assuming because I don't know the engine, but FM23 had players make >significantly< more mistakes at lower levels, while FM24 just, they don't. So I assume that they can also tweak stuff like that in the engine without changing players' attributes too much.
  8. Basically that sort of thing was appealing in late 2000s Madden etc games and there is a decent chunk of Americans who have that appeal
  9. Yeah messing with lots of different things lmao. Ain't tryina get them to the top, just wanted a little more competition in 6-10 league range. Turkey being completely horrendous is a little weird to me. Works well enough and I'm happy with it. Onto the next thing to mess with: Sky Bet League One, Championship, and the Prem. Tryina make a bit of a gulf from Sky Bet League Two to Sky Bet League One so it's not a total cupcake and insta promotion to the Championship. While also trying to not make it too much of a benefit when promoting to the Championship, while also trying to slightly nerf the Premier League Continentally. Shall see whether I think the attempts work or not, but yeah, I've kept it in mind
  10. I did see that along with I think it was Discipline and wondered if that was a specific style of rule or not. My question would be, it >seems< that the Turkish League has semi dynamic versions of prizing, I have seen it go up and down in different seasons (Possibly tied to League reputation?) So I was mildly afraid that if I deleted that that would somehow hurt things severely, but I will try it, appreciate it.
  11. Hello, I've been trying to edit the prize money of the Turkish Super League in FM23 for version 23.4.0 Basically the Turkish League does similar to the continental competitions, you get money per win and per draw. For the Turkish League I'm just trying to test what would happen if I rose the prize money per win to like 200k (in the default it's like 150k, though in game it shows up as like 127k, and that's with both the currency in the editor and the currency I use to display being USD) However despite having done it, it doesn't change the money per win in the save. (It also randomly gives the top 6 teams some money for finishing in the top 6, which I also cannot find to be able to edit) and I really don't understand why. I've wondered if it was other editor files, so I turned everything off except for it and it still doesn't work. I first tried to edit the Money - Grant Money per Match tab, as that's what default, that didn't work. I tried doing it under league settings too (both with money - grant money per match enabled and clearing it) and that did not do anything. I also did it for all 3 different versions of it, ergo the Super Lig with 20 teams, the Super Lig with 19 teams, and the Super Lig with 18 teams, so it's not an issue of it being done in the wrong tab. Don't really know where to go from here so figured I'd ask and see if anyone has any advice on it. Thanks
  12. I'm a bit late but can confirm, fog of war on actual attributes makes the game more fun as now you can actually make signing mistakes.
  13. The short answer is no, they don't scout like we do. A high level player will pretty much never make a hugely damaging mistake like the AI can because once a player is fully scouted with exact attributes and you know what attributes to look for, it's pretty easy to never make a transfer that just explodes in your face. Obviously the signing can be meh but it's really difficult for things to just capsize. the AI doesn't have said luxury
  14. Ah yeah you're right, switched to the wrong thread, was meant for the scouting one.
