Depends on how you inserted it in the editor. If you put as a friendly cup in the pre-game editor, it would show up as a friendly , would not count towards your expectations.

Hello everyone. I created a database for my hometown (Sintra, Portugal) since we have lots of clubs in our “council”. I have had many itterations with the database, used to be over 80 teams (with custom logos) but after the winter update, i decided to revamp it and i am still on it. The main problem i have is : Random teams from my domestic leagues qualify for european competitions without winning a cup/qualification spot (see image below) 1st Year Simulation, FC Despertar qualified for the CL qualifiers. So, im going to answer the questions you may send my way 1 - The database has lots of divisions spanning from 3 main divisions + 1 high school division + 2 or 3 U19 divisions. 2 - In the other itterations of this database, this happened before, but much more sporadically than now. 2.1 - In said other versions, not only did my random teams qualify, but also, for some reason, lower division spanish teams. 2.2 - No, i dont have any other DB running while sim-testing, obviously. 2.3 - As im writing this, im also searching the database, and Torre Levante from the Spanish U19 Division 2 Group 8 qualified for the Conference league… will add to attachment. 3 - The country replaced to create my nation was Upper Volta 4 - Other than the Portuguese divisions (that i had to fix because Sintra teams play in Portugal) i have not edited anyother country 5 - The country “deleted” (they turned unclickable) was Liechenstein, made more sense since they only have a handfull of main teams 6 - Everything else is running accordingly, the only thing that isn't, is the European Qualification itself.
