Have you tried the full 19.2 yet?
Seeing as he's been playing the beta.... yes?

Whatever you did, that's actually worth uploading to check for the comeback of the "corner exploit".
At 1 goal every 4 matches, we are talking Tony Pulis side material This is something else entirelly -- and I'd never, ever park the bus against any such side and invite them into my half, as they would simply nick it on the set piece eventually like 80% of the time. It's not 1 in 4. It's 1 corner goal every 1.52 matches.

2 different scenarios, you never said which specific time, without the ball yes stay wider then when he has the ball he can cut in.
I wasn't the one asking the question.
You still can't ask a WB to stay wide when the team has the ball, and have him cut inside with the ball. It was obvious what kingking meant when s/he asked that question.
Also, "How can someone stay wide and cut inside at the same time? The player either stays wide or he cuts inside, it's 1 or the other."
These two options are not found in the same area. (Team has the ball/player has the ball), so again, it should've been even more obvious what kingking meant.

The left picture says something about the position of the player without the ball (when his team has posession), in this case he is instructed to stay ieder. the right picture instructs the player to cut inside once he receives the ball.
The question asked was "Why can't a WBL/WBR stay wide and cut inside?", and not "Why can't a WBL/WBR stay wide when he has the ball and cut inside?".

Why on earth is this an issue? Does every footballer anounce to the world that he's formally retired? Of course not. The fact that players have not told the press that they are retiring has zero effect on the game.

Sounds like a bug... Raise it.
With some loans if there is a major injury you can cancel the loan, or the loaning club can recall. Not sure if thats possible on a loan with fee agreements or not... Did he come back injured?
He got injured June 20 for 3 weeks. Loan ended June 30, so yes.
I'll raise it.

Correct. He played 30 league games for them anyway.

don't get it, they paid 25M for a season long loan? if that is the case, that might be worth rising as a bug.
Mandatory *future* fee. They're supposed to buy him for the agreed 25m at the end of the loan.

optimist me: I guess it is just the AI being smart. instead of paying 25 M for a 31 year old, they let him back gambling that you won't sign him so they could get him for free.
But the fee was mandatory. I know for a fact it didn't turn optional before confirming, because he played in the CL final against me, and I had a look then.

I had Matic loaned out to Juventus with a mandatory future fee of 25m. He's just come back, and he's not joining Juve. His contract is up in 1 week, and the thought of letting him go on a free and not getting the 25m (that I don't even need) is too annoying, so I'm gonna have to give him a new contract and try to sell this 31 year old for as much as I can get. I don't need the money, but I want it.
Is it a bug? I assume it's a bug, but I'm not sure on the rules considering his contract is expiring.

Everything about that looks really bad tbh, the decision not to shoot being the cherry on top. I assume you/both teams are playing on high mentality and aggressive duties(?), but the decisions and positions of basically all players just doesn't look good to me and especially for counter attacks it's been a common theme for several FM's now.
Balanced. Rashford the only one with attack duty.
They were definitely on a more aggressive mentality, as it was the 90th minute and they were losing 2-1.

I believe click and drag one of the names on the right should do the trick. You might need to let go before it goes away. Hasn't happened in a few days, so I'm not entirely sure.

We just won the ball so I am seeing this like attempt for counter attack. But still its so stupid to rush forward when you can step on the ball for a second and wait for your players to spread up.
I completely agree.

Same thing happened to me in Community Shield on FM 2014.
Same.
Made subs 119th minute to bring on better pen takers. Subs never took place. Now stuck.

My players have gone from almost never attempting any long shots (good) to doing nothing but.
What fun.
