  1. I am looking for a team to manage with the main goal of dominating the Champions League However, I want a team a little obscure. From outside the main 7 leagues Maybe a team who are best of their league, to make concentrating on CL domination the priority I enjoy developing youth players from within the club, so a goo academy setup would be a bonus I was initially thinking someone along the lines of Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine That is the sort of team/country I would like to be focusing on Please share your recommendations
  2. Awful fixtures to start of life in the Prem!

  4. Maybe so. I'm not sure how effective he would have been if pushed to LB. Not somewhere he has played for a very long time. So I feel the loss you take from RW outweighs any (what I would consider to be limited) gains from LB Moot point now anyway, as thankfully he won't be filling in there anytime soon.
  5. I am not at all suggesting he is a world beater and some star already. But he has definitely looked comfortable and like he belongs in the squad. More so than others who have in fairness only sporadically had limited chances. He does not look out of his depth though...
  6. I'm sorry, but Watkins had 4/5 touches for his 10 minute cameo. I am not taking anything away from the superb goal and finish, and of course it was the match winning goal. But to suggest that performance is better than anyone else's contributions from the entire first 45 minutes... is a bit silly. E: If England are 2-1 up and he comes up and does the exact same performance, is he still player of the match?
  7. A lot of people still like to be weird about Saka, but he has definitely been our best player this tournament. Amount of people who wanted to shift him to LB was astounding. I think he has been better than Stones, whether that's down to Stones perhaps not being up to his usual high standards is another question. But Guehi really hasn't done much wrong given the lack of protection the defense has had throughout. I reckon that is being a little harsh on Mainoo and doing a disservice. When he came on for his first cameo, there was a noticeable difference from what Gallagher was offering. Last night he was definitely on the front foot and should have been awarded player of the match I'm not suggesting he has been out of this world good. But he has certainly done more than any of our other midfield options (without putting his age and inexperience into context)
  8. Im saying it's absolutely fine to have chastised Gareth for the way England started this tournament and the performances from certain players, as well as his own in-game management. As well as praise for the way the team played yesterday and how Gareth managed the game. Beating The Netherlands yesterday isn't some gotcha, to show Gareth is some high and migthy managerial genius
  9. I know it's been mentioned numerous times and it will just never happen. But we really do need to be dropping Kane and using him as an impact player later on in the game. Watkins leading the line with pressing and just making runs into the box will change how affective we are and if we can probe, we will be asking a lot of Spain
