  1. Description: When I click on the In-Game Editor, nothing is shown. This didn't happen at the start of the save, and has happened after a few seasons. To view any values, I need to click one of the headers.
I've had this issue on previous versions of FM (not 2020).

Steps to Reproduce: Go to a player, then Edit Player Attribute/Personal/Contract Details, and the default screen will not be shown.

Expected Result: Information under General is shown

Actual Result: Blank screen is shown

Hi guys, I’m wanting to understand how clock speed will affect the game.

    I have deals on i7 10th gen processors, but with a ‘u’ processor, meaning it’s 1.8GHz (4.9 GHz max turbo), with i7-10510u.

the ram is 16gb, 512gb storage, with a mx230 graphics card.

My assumption would be that with the other specs and processor I would be able to play fm quite comfortably, but I’m just wanting to understand the impact of the ultra low power

To clarify, ideally I’d be playing 3D, with medium graphics settings, as high as possible that the laptop can handle

  4. Hi there, I'm currently looking between 2 laptops. Both Dell Inspirons. The first is a 14":

    • Intel Core i7-10510U (4 Core), 1.8 GHz (4.9 GHz Max Turbo)
    • 16 GB (2 x 8 GB Fixed), DDR 3, 2133 MHz Ram
    • 512 GB Solid State Drive (M.2 SSD)
    • 14 inch 1920 x 1080 FHD, True Life LED-Backlit
    • 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250

The second is a 15" touchscreen:

    • Intel Core i7-10510U (4 Core), 1.8 GHz (4.9 GHz Max Turbo)
    • 16 GB (2 x 8 GB), DDR 4, 2667 MHz Ram
    • 512 GB Solid State Drive (M.2 SSD)
    • 15.6 inch 3840 x 2160 UHD, IPS Truelife LED-Backlit Touch
    • 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250

I've never played FM with great graphics (normally have to stick to 2D if I don't want my laptop to explode), so I would really like the opportunity to do that. I know the spec of the second laptop is better, but wondered:

    - what the playability of the game would be like with 1920 x 1080 FHD and GeForceMX250 would be like, and if it will make a big differencce to upgrade to the second laptop?

    - idea of what capacity of leagues I'd be able to load with the laptop running comfortably with that processor and ram.

  5. Hey everyone, Im looking to upgrade my laptop for general purposes, including FM, and thought I could ask for some help.

    My current specs are:

    i3-5005u processor @2ghz

    8GB ram

    2tb storage

    Option 1:

    Dell XPS 13 8390

    • Intel Core i7-10510U (4 Core), 1.8 GHz (4.9 GHz Max Turbo)
    • 16 GB (2 x 8 GB Fixed), DDR 3, 2133 MHz Ram
    • 512 GB Solid State Drive (M.2 SSD)
    • 13.3 inch 1920 x 1080 FHD, IPS InfinityEdge, Anti Glare
    • Intel UHD Graphics

    Option 2:

    Dell Inspiron 13 7391 2-in-1

    • Intel Core i7-10510U (4 Core), 1.8 GHz (4.9 GHz Max Turbo)
    • 16 GB (2 x 8 GB Fixed), DDR 3, 2133 MHz Ram
    • 512 GB Solid State Drive (M.2 SSD)
    • 13.3 inch 1920 x 1080 FHD, IPS Truelife LED-Backlit Touch
    • Intel UHD Graphics

    Option 3:

    Dell Latitude 15 5501

    • Intel Core i7-9850H (6 Core), 2.6 GHz (4.6 GHz Max Turbo)
    • 32 GB (2 x 16 GB), DDR 4, 2667 MHz Ram
    • 512 GB Solid State Drive (M.2 SSD)
    • 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 FHD, Anti-Glare
    • 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX150

    Option 4:

    Macbook Pro 13 inch

    • 1.4GHz quad-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor
    • Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
    • Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645
    • 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 memory
    • 512GB SSD storage¹
    • 13-inch Retina display with True Tone

Currently, I'm leaning towards Option 2, the Dell Inspiron because its the cheapest, but I wanted to ask a couple of things:

    1. in relation to Option 2 and 3 - What is the difference between Intel UHD Graphics and 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX150? And is this a noticible difference for FM?

    2. in relation to Option 2 and 3 - Does going from 16 to 32 gb ram have a major difference for FM? I dont think Ive ever used 16 gb, but if I can get 32 in my price range is it worth an upgrade?

    3. In regards to the Macbook Pro, If I was to upgrade either the processor to i7, or the Ram to 16gb, which one should I prioritise? And I know macbook pro graphics are normally great, would this spec be preferable over the other options? Or is there not much benefit to going for apple here?

    4. Does anyone have any opinions between the Dell Inspiron and XPS? I know the spec is similar, so its more about the other spec, like keyboard etc, so this question is more about additional stuff.

Many thanks guys, I've never bought a laptop more than basic spec so needing all the help I can!

Hey there, I have 2 questions!

    1. When training a player in a role (eg Inside Forward AMR) after some time the player stops training in the role, and only starts training in the position (AMR). Sometimes the training position might not even be the same, it could be LM or something like that. This 'new' position isn't always the one the player is natural in. Why does this happen? How can I prevent it from happening?

On staff responsibilities I am in charge of all individual training on every squad. The above situation can happen with players who haven't been made availble for reserves/under 19 squad or anything.

    2. When on opposition instructions, if I have instructions set on position, will they always be on when viewing opposition instructions for players?

Ie if I toggle between the two are both active, or is it position OR player?

Does a mod or anyone else have any answers to these? Especially 2!
