Really loving the direction you are going with this thread, I faced the exact same issues with my possession tactic, but for me it remained unsolved because I had an issue with the database I used so I abandoned the save. One thing I noticed was that it is somewhat easy to create a tactic with crazy high possession numbers in FM 23 but it is often just sterile, toothless possession and in such cases it almost always comes down to roles/duties. For me it feels like roles and duties make or break a tactic and they should function without the TIs, I feel like if the player nails the roles/duties they usually can't go horribly wrong with the other stuff.

I am looking forward to the next part, especially how the possession regain graph is going to change for your team. I wonder if this can change at all without having better players (or growing reputation), or most of it is just down to the formation that we use? I used to use a deep formation but with heavy pressing and I also noticed that the team is mostly getting the ball back around the halfway line. This is I think one of the less discussed parts of a possession tactic, where you loose the ball usually and how does that influence you getting it back. So mostly I would look to make it so that the team looses the ball in advanced areas, in the final third preferably around the touchline, I think that is the best for loosing the ball. Losing possession in the final third is also miles better than loosing it in the middle of the park, I think loosing the ball around the halfway line makes it impossible to get it back without conceding a shot/possession. So I guess my point is that (I think) the further up the field you loose the ball most of the time, the better chance you will have at getting it back, so I am looking forward to how it will change for your team.

Hi Guys! Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I would like to start using a competition pack that I found here, because I was annoyed that the reserve team competitions are not visible and the team just doesn't play any matches - this is specifically Hungary related. Let's say I start a new long term save, is it going to start causing problems 10-20 seasons into the save? I once read it somewhere that the save started glitching out when the player used similar mods, not sure if I remember correctly so that's why I ask.

What has happenned to the new feature that u18s and u23s will receive invites to competitions? I have been in a save for 6-7 years and I have received none.

I have the same issue in Hungarian Division as well. This is such a minor thing but at least in FM 22 the manager of the 2nd team could arrange friendlies. Now in this year edition he can't even do that. Now I have to arrange friendlies for the second team which is the biggest waste of my time, what am I paying the the 2nd team manager for?

That is actually avery interesting addition. What about the AI keeping the ball easily with the 4231? Noticed unusually high possession numbers for the AI with 4231?
