A really interesting read so far, I hope I can improve my approach to tactics in FM. Thank you for writing and posting the book.

If I remember correctly, the non-EU-player you signed earliest can be registered, if you have sold a non-EU-player outside of Italy. But it all depends upon the date of signing and is not a choice you can make.

Germany is fun, because you're pretty free considering squad registration. I also prefer smaller leagues with 34 or less games per season. What I like about Italy is the large bench in league games. You can react to every situation in the game and almost every player has the chance of getting game time as a substitute. In England and Italy it feels like almost every game is a game against a team with a big name. Even games against teams mid-table or below feature opponents like Newcastle, Everton, Fiorentina, Sampdoria or Hellas Verona. Almost every game feels special because of that, and that's why I enjoy managing in England and Italy the most.

Are the 15 year-olds real players or newgens?

In the Serie A, in the first half of the season i.e. the first 19 games, I have two league games against Inter, but none against Lazio. In the second half of the season it's the other way around, two games against Lazio.
