  1. Congratulations to @Sons FC! Ready to donate to your chosen charity whenever you get chance to announce your selection
  2. SCR - Initally looked at Will's back 5 and opted for him, but SCR's front 6 have enough to take a lead against them and are capable of punishing further on any counter attacks. RB - Looking forward to the FM sim results from this, but I think RB advances in that one.
  3. Scott and Bliss. Shows the strength of Scott's team for CrispyPaul not to have any votes at all, despite a more than respectable team
  4. Paul - If Pompey had gone for a 4-2-4 with Hojbjerg and Trent (or Kimmich) in the middle with Gakpo and Davitashvili on the wings, it would've been a trickier choice. Harry - Very close, but Zalewski/Guler edges it against the two wingbacks. BigV - Poor Ralston and Onana in for a world of hurt.
  5. Will - Brozovic costing me big time. Hoping strong opening performances from Reijnders and Stanciu can help pick up vote or two. Crispypaul in the closest game of this match day. If it was the whinging championships, I'd vote Arnautovic every time regardless of his position. Scott's spine too strong even for Yuko's solid lineup.
  6. Baptista in a close call - plenty to admire in front of the defence for both teams, but a rare occasion where even Vestergaard has the edge. JD in a not so close call. Kawee not entirely to blame - 10% Kawee, 90% Pompey I think is about right.
  7. Paul - A strong overall XI without any obvious compromises Grff - The thought of poor Hojbjerg all alone in the middle was enough to swing it Rebs - Very difficult choice and possibly influenced by recent performances. I'd love to have Harry's midfield but felt the trio of Musiala/Sporar/Retegui would be too much for his defence.
  8. Gone with Darius in the first game. Found this one to be the most difficult to judge, but felt Darius' defence had just enough to cope with BigV's attacking players, and similarly had just enough at the other end to nick a goal. Hilly in the second in another close game. I think if Hilly had only one of Wirtz/Foden I might have gone the other way, but having both is probably too much for mrw's backline. GunmaN in the last game. Probably the team to beat in this draft - too much strength all over the pitch for Muttley, particularly down the left side.
  9. Hope @grff continues to run these in FM - interested to see what it makes of RB's team+tactic.
  10. Voted for Crispypaul, SCR and Will. Some of the thinking behind my team/formation: Ladislav Krejčí: Kenny McLean:
  11. Two teams that are capable enough to get through the group, but would probably be a honking game to watch. 1-0 to Scott, goal from a set piece.
  12. Tijjani Reijnders please. Straight swap for Koopmeiners in my build lineup if you don't mind doing the honours.

  14. In Round 3 you had first overall pick and opted for Bruno Fernandes instead
