  1. The thing of the last patch is that I see more through balls, but when they leave somebody in front of goal, that player misses almost every one of the chances. And in one of my saves that player is Lionel Messi. But when he sends a ball from an indirect free kick, a lot of them end up being headed by someone (height does not matter) to the back of the net.

    Frustrating.

  2. At this point I don't think there'll be any changes to the ME. Perhaps some minor adjustments. A major overhaul is not feasible in terms of time available and the confusion around having to fundamentally change a big part of the game now. I personally woudn't want that, although I also feel it's not an ideal ME (not having so many "game breaking" problems though). I hope all their focus goes to improve the attacking part of the game for the next one. That will be my main concern as my future purchase of the game will depend on it.

  3. Well then, I'm not buying 2021 (right now the Switch is the only platform I have available to play FM as my laptop is too old), and I'll make sure to inform potential buyers about the fact that they are paying more for a product that won't get the same support as other platforms.

At least it would be better to know that beforehand.

  4. SI should warn to potential Switch users that the game will always be several days/weeks behind the other versions and won't get as many updates. When they focus on small details it can be OK but so many changes in the ME is too much to be postponed till next month. Something to consider when buying with the higher price tag.

Counting the first, one week after release, the ME this week and the future data update it's only three. Nintendo should allow it. It's not like the game is updated every week.

Clearly you haven't play FM in the past. No idea of the potential this franchise has and what this ME struggles are. Your feedback doesn't help to improve the overall experience.

Since FM2011. But I'm not here to measure each other. Everyone has his own opinion based on experience on what should be improved (mine is the attacking side of the game) and it's the developers job to assess it. I simply said I found nothing wrong with a nice goal I watched, at least nothing I'm concerned about.

The 2nd goal is a travesti of defensive malcfunctioning... I mean the least the CB could've done is slide to block the cross, or the keeper rather than walk try to throw himself somewhere to intercept the pass or try to block the shot. That's the main problem of the ME, defense.

I don't see anything wrong with the 2nd goal. A perfectly timed through ball that catches the defense by surprise. It happens. It should happen more in the game.

  7. From what I've played, the ME is not as terrible as I thought (I was pretty angry with last year's). I've seen more variety of goals and manage to score quite a lot. Even Messi behaves closer to the real one in one of my saves, I've even seen him doing the same he did to Boateng years ago to a defender in a tiny space and scoring with a beautiful shot, something impossible on FM19. There are quite a few things to improve which have been long discussed here (1 on 1's, wingers not crossing to the obvious off the ball player and shooting instead, some unnecessary headers giving the ball to the opposition, etc).

Tweaks need to be made (I haven't played the new beta), but I just hope it doesn't revert to last year's low scoring fest, where almost every game felt dull to me. This year has a more realistic combination of results, at least from my experience with it.

From the 2 ME's we can play right not, live and BETA i enjoy the live ME more. I played both in parallel but Live seems more fun. In BETA the matches seem a bit dull and the goals per game is lower although the shot count by big teams seems higher than usual ( frequently they end with 30+ shots per game ).

All in all from the 2 ME's available i would say that Live is 6.5/10 and Beta is 6/10.

Oh no. I hate when results look always like 80's Italy. I can to a point tolerate some of the issues of the ME as long as teams are able to score 3, 4, 5, 6 goals every now and then.

  9. So far it looks better than 2019. Menus are better structured and smoother. In 2019 I was able to press "X" above a name and access to some options, it's not available now and makes it more difficult.

The match engine is atrocious, I'm not going to number all the issues raised here, but I'd like to know if the next update focusing on ME, which is now tested as a public beta, will be added to the Switch version around the same time as the full game and other Touch platforms.

13€ is mobile version, I buyed for Switch and mobile and diffirents are big. Switch version is ‘full version’ mobile is fast version with small number of leagues

No. There's Mobile and Touch for iOs/Android, and Touch for the Switch. Between the two Touch versions there's a 13€ price difference.

Full is available only for PC/Mac and Stadia.
