  1. I've created a team to put in the Vanarama National League South. They show up just fine, but I'm having trouble with the third kit, and seeing the U23 and U18 teams underneath the Squad > Players drop down menu.

I created all kits in the editor so they will at least somewhat resemble the pictures whilst in game, but the third kit is using the generic created version as opposed to the photographed version, like the home and away kits, despite being placed in the exact same folder and config.

I also created a U23 and U18 and tried to place them in the lowest (respective) leagues for their age group, because created or promoted clubs have never seemed to automatically get youth league invites when I have tried in the past. As far as I can see, this has worked in game...but I can't see them in the Squad menu.

  2. Hi,

Basically I am trying to re-create the women’s leagues in the game.

The problem is that many of the women’s leagues have less clubs, and different ones.

Is it possible for example to delete the EPL and replace it with the WSL? And the authentic number (12) teams?

I have already deleted every player, and I will delete every league/club aside from the ones relating to the women’s leagues to avoid conflicts.

I know I’d need to change the nation rules for every country and it would mean I’d have separate databases that all run together.

    Can this be done?

  3. AI United in my save have played him as a backup striker (14 PL stars) and cup striker. He's now 19 and worth 39 million, with dribbling, finishing, first touch, technique, composure, flair, off the ball, acceleration, agility, natural fitness and pace all above 15.

In 2021, he's now their main striker and he's scored 4 goals in 4 games.

Personally, I wouldn't put him in U18 or U23, he's too good for that and needs games. Either keep him as a backup striker, and play him in cup games and the PL sometimes. I read that in FM19, a player needed at least 15 minutes of game time to count towards developement, so bringing him on for the last half hour may be useful. Alternatively, send him out on loan to a good Championship side with Good + training facilities.

  4. It's not necessarily cheating, but it would give you an advantage over players who don't use it.

There's lots that still go wrong even if you do have a wonderkid. His personality, injury proneness, play time, training etc will all determine whether or not he actually goes on to become the star that he could be. You'll still need to invest a lot of time with the kid and manage him right in order to get him up to his PA.

It's a single player game though and you should do whatever makes the game enjoyable for you.

  5. Just recently signed him with my PL Cardiff team after he became unhappy at Barca, so got him for cheap. Only played a few games so far. At worst he flops and I still make a decent profit, at best he stays forever or a Champions League team triggers his 85m release clause.
