  1. Does picking players with high teamwork make implementing tactics easier? I am guessing the answer is yes. Presumably, players with high teamwork are more likely to follow your instructions (assuming the instructions make sense) so you get a greater sense of control over what is happening? Anyone experienced this?
  2. I am playing with Dinamo Zagreb at the moment and would recommend it. I'm on track to win the league in my first season without much difficulty. Europe provides a stiffer challenge but the board is not too bothered if you don't get very far so good opportunity to take on tougher opposition without having much to lose. It's fun watching the kids come through as well and money is not much of an issue.
  3. Thanks again, the comments about the human factors are likely very relevant here. I left Drmic out for a while so he's a bit miffed about that still. It slipped my mind to mention this.

  5. Thank you both for your valuable comments. The low Marking and Positioning for Drmic are worth a look but appear only to apply to defensive situations. They would be a plus for Veiga, however. I had a closer look at the match analysis and can see many 1v1 contests between these 2 players rather than the centre-backs. Specifically, my right winger is putting in lots of crosses and Veiga is winning the header at the far post each time (would have been a goal otherwise). Changing the type of crosses looks to be a good suggestion. Though given that Drmic had the mobility to get to these contests I guess I still have a query whether Veiga's superior Pace and Stamina would be decisive in the contests themselves. I could imagine Acceleration being useful here but they are equal (12) for that. You are completely right to point out that Drmic is not ideal as an IF. It's just that I already have the superior Petkovic playing centrally and I wanted to fit in another finisher somewhere without playing two strikers. He did actually score a couple of goals in another game but long term it may be better to have a natural wide player there that has the necessary athleticism to play the role properly as you suggest.
  6. So I'm playing with Dinamo Zagreb, an easy team to manage in a league where they are dominant. We are top of the league so things are going well but I'm keen to learn and get even better. We won our recent match 2-0 but the stats for my left-sided IF Josip Drmic are disappointing. The standout stat was 14 headers contested, only 1 won. I checked the opposition stats and saw that right back Veiga (the natural opponent) won 10 headers and lost 1. When I compare the two of them I see they are very equal in terms of Heading, Jumping Reach, Aggression, Anticipation and Bravery. Any ideas why this was such a mismatch?
