  1. found it. Pretty much just under 50 percent. They scored 34 and conceded 48. 22 percent of there goals were scored by defenders. Big believer in alot of teams play too short now days at times and look at current england sqaud, lack of runs in behind is shocking. Pulis teams were big strong and organised. This was there best season under him and they touched the ball the least amount with 18,195. Blackburn were the closest with 19,421 and then bolton with 21,351. Stoke were unique and offered something diffrent, which is why we all remember them. But to build it in fm with it still being a game id be making sure my players have high jumping reach, tackling, marking, anticipation, concentration, positioning and decisions. Because ultimately the game plan of pulis was not to lose
  2. It'll be hard to get correct because most teams aint set up for it. same way as you have to find a balance as you cant expansive possesion football with burnley. Big thing for me would be implementing it into most teams plug and play is a mistake. Defintely a style that would have to be built over time. Also i wouldnt be playing team instruction much more direct. I think its the biggest misconception of route one football. I think you want Keeper and back four of no nonsense cb and full backs. You want them to be skipping your midfeild so dms would be a mistake as its much easier to play out the back with dms. After that i think you need to make sure your strikers can dominate centre backs in the air hence why pulis had Kenweyne jones and crouch or going even earlier ricardo fuller. Also set peices were massive for stoke. Can't find the percentage of how many goals they scored from them but wouldnt be suprised if its close to 50 percent
  3. Yeah it's the same. The difference between 4231 DM and cms, is it's easier to get you dms to act like cms without sacrificing the space between the defense and midfield. Also leaves space for your number 10 to drop deeper to find space if needed.
  4. Either id drop the AM to a support duty. maybe even a ap s as it takes more risks or change the striker to a more creative forward role, DLF Cf etc who will make space your the 3 behind and the SV to run into. I think the hardest thing about being that team that you end up being on the edge of the box. i think something simple of adding different kind of players into the team and the role. Like with you're strikers you lack an ariel threat with crosses. You could try wahi off the left with a creator foward with him having like to try and beat off side trap you will see more runs from deep.
  5. Also I will add youve gone for geggenpress tactic but then put ti on as if you want to play possession football. That preset is more about winning the ball high and going full throttle forward. Positive mentality makes you play at a higher tempo to then up the tempo more and shorter passing and work ball into the box is then asking them to be so technically good. Could result in more turnovers from trying to do everything so quick
  6. You're striker will suffer because you squeeze the pitch. He will score goals however because I imagine your camped outside the box a lot. The space won't be there for him to make his runs in behind. Look at haaland this season. Obviously he is a freak but he's playing the other way more because lack of space. Also you am is doing the same thing. Pushing right across the front line. Which makes it more work for your two dms. Don't trust ratings either. If your players are doing what you want them to do then you shouldn't worry about.
