Spain thoroughly deserved to win. On performance, they could’ve, and probably should’ve won by more.

First, great finish by Watkins to win it. Second, the Netherlands got screwed, again.

Couldn’t watch the first half… Shocking Netherlands’ goal, ridiculous penalty decision. Was it given live and not overturned or not given until a var check?

They should be strong favorites, given what we’ve seen, but that back line is suspect. France had the chances, they just couldn’t be bothered to finish.

Second half a bit lacking. France had chances to equalize, but decisions and execution in key moments were quite poor. Spain deservedly in the final.

Surely France have to get Thuram or Giroud on soon. Dembele has been quite poor. Surprised he wasn’t one of the three off earlier.

Naturally, but I’m not sure what that has to do with anything that’s happened in this match. France’s backline hasn’t been the problem. If anything, they’re missing a motivated Pogba, or effective Griezmann.

Oh, good. They changed the OG to Olmo.

Easily the most entertaining half I’ve seen in this tourney. Spain’s backline and France’s midfield have been quite underwhelming.

Ridiculous to score that as an OG. It was on target and had already beat the keeper.

Mbappe has lost the mask and Theo is getting forward. Navas as RB is going about as expected.

If Mbappe is 80%+, France. If not, Spain. Dembele in for Griezmann is completely unsurprising given respective performances. A bit surprised they haven’t gone back to Thuram up top though. Olmo in for Pedri is an upgrade for Spain, but if France don’t put Navas to the test nonstop for 90 minutes it’d be quite the tactical failure.

Netherlands - Spain France was my pick coming in, but I don’t think they can do it, playing this way, with this version of Mbappe.
