Will you play Women's football in FM25?
Mr Tonio replied to CalumF's topic in Football Manager General Discussion
I would, i'm actually looking forward to it. I hope it's well implamented and have a really different flavor than man's. But without the national team it has lost a lot of its appeal. This is for me the main problem, because IRL international women football is amazing. It's a real big shame. -

Thank you! This is the clearest explenation of what i rant about since last patch. I'll add, that there are still a lot of pretty high score, even with a duller game. So it didn't even fix the problem... I, personaly, would love to get back to the beta engine. But, i can not have this option. -
Thx, A shame though. Other games offer an option (Crusader Kings 3, for ex) to choose your version. I initially wasn't planning on buying this edition, but the ME from the beta convinced me to change my mind. Then, december update came and kill my fun, i feel cheated a little bit.

Title says it all. I would like to downgrade to a previous version of the game, say 24.1.1 or earlier. Main reason: original ME used to be fun, no it's boring. Is there any way to do it? PS: i'm very happy you're having fun with the current ME, but it's not the subject here.

How are you still on 24.1.1? I'm dreaming of a downgrade, any tips in how to do it? -
U19 and B team disapearing from my bar sudenly
Mr Tonio commented on Mr Tonio's issue in User Interface (Closed for new issues)
I know, but, these choices were not appearing on my side... You can see in the screenshot uploaded. A skin thing, maybe? But, it worked fine before, no update, just disapeared on the anouncement for a new season (3rd). I found a workaround anyhow... But thank you. -

U19 and B team disapearing from my bar sudenly

I've found a way around, by selecting a B player, set his individual training, and then select "manage all" when the option appears. Maybe this will give a hint to dev team. Thx, -

Not really convinced by this argument, no disrespect meant. It can be attributed to many other things (like high rep club have more top physical players). Tests from the community are not conclusive and it is consistent with players feedback. Plus there clearly seems to be a recent buff (12/12 update) to lone strikers, which was not clearly mentionned in the changelog. -
Playing with Atletico, I used the old trick of managing the training of managing individual training for U19 and B team. In the 3rd season, at the 1st of july, they disapeared and i cannot have the option to manage players training anymore. Managing their training does not apear in my option anymore, nore on the B or U19 team screen, where the "managing" option is empty, nobody can be selected. If nobody manage their training it's game over for this save (B and u19 teams are key in a bilbao save)... Is there something i'm missing?

Ok, so, strikers are broken. That is a big deal. It's an important part of the game and of the fun playing it. After all the transparency stance before beta, SI needs to acknowledge it and strive to fix it. I'm still asking: anyone have a beta build that we can use till it's patched? I stopped playing game, i want to play it still. -

That is not what the ME is showing me. I still see lots of incoherent defensive beaviour. Lot of shot blocked also, or over the bar oof, or headless chicken run towards a still defender or free man behing ignored by offensive mids and mostly, good striker missing a lot. -

Honnestly, the beta engine was flawed, buggy, but fun. This one is different buggy, maybe less, but boring. The main problem was "too many goal scores". The way it was nerfed seem to be by systematic clumsyness and dumbness of attacking players. That take us back to previous editions. Not much of a gain here. I wasn't planning on buying this edition, but was convinced by the new ME... Then it was dumbed down. Feel cheated a little bit. -

Can we have the beta ME back? Does anyone care to share a backup and the means to install it? -

Well that ME thing was fun while it last... -
After selling my LB, and a team meeting leading to me promising to sign a new lb, i signed two of them (the second one after seeing how inefective my first signing was in fullfilling that promise, just to test my theory). They are both are natural at LB and other position. So, these polyvalent players are not identified as LB by my squad. Leading to me having to broke my promise. The first signing was Hiroki Ito, is recognised as a CB, even though i think he is playing mainly left irl. The scouts see him as a CB, so i imagine all the players do to. The second is james justin, that plays on both wing. Globally, i don't think player interaction is working like it was intended, leading to the only valid option for game play is to never make any promises, better to ship the all team off if needed. It's been a problem since promises appeared in the game.

God, it's good! It is a good game! It's possible! The ME is brillant in comparaison to all previous years. This is what should have been years ago. But no matter. It's here, i love it. Don't change it too much upon full release, please. -
Players not happy with games played bug
Mr Tonio replied to EvilWolf1980's topic in Football Manager General Discussion
Thanks for the answer. In FM 23, 40% seems to be accepted by most of my squad rotation players. It was not the case in FM22. -

This is not how squad rotation status should work. If it stays that way this should be more explicit ingame.
