Job application/hopping and/or reputation deciding job shortlisting needs to be looked at for future games imo. Starting with Sunday league (half star) reputation I got Pboro Sports (VNN) promoted in my first season (with a board expectation of avoiding relegation) and now 20 games into second season I'm 3rd in the VNL with the board expectation to be fight bravely against relegation. I've applied to about 20 L2/L1 jobs since promotion (and now i'm one star reputation) and while i would by no means expect to be appointed simply for this achievement it's impossible to even get a job interview for any of them Most of them come back with the slightly infuriating tagline of not shortlisting me due to my lack of experience guiding teams away from relegation. I've got a relegation candidate promoted ffs!!

the amount of goals seems to be a lot more realistic post-patch, but im still getting a goal outside the box(long shot) pretty much every game, every other game. Long shots seem to be ridiculously OP this year. Perhaps just because im managing at step 2 and the goalkeepers are ****, but i would say its notably abnormal

Been playing Fm since 2013 and I can not remember a game that has been as 'buggy'/broken as this one. The goals/xG overperformance is an absolute shambles and immersion killing. WBA scoring 100 goals to finish 10th in the Champ, every gameday having at least one or two, sometimes three 5-3's/4-3's/6-3's, 8 teams in the season outscoring last years IRL top scorers in the Champ, not mattering what tactic you use or how you play having long shots, deflections and set pieces shipped in at will against you etc. etc. It seems as if the increased deflections/set pieces has resulted in them becoming way too common, perhaps because of SI wanting to actually try and prove they have made an update to this game, but instead has rather backfired for my enjoyment of my own save at least. Manager movements in England in my save are incredibly unrealistic too. Why is jesse marsch taking the job at carlisle who are sitting just outside the L1 relegation zone? I can understand sometimes managers would take a step down and some big scalps happen in the manager market but this simply would never happen. When teams are looking for a manager in Engladn at least it seems as if they are solely judging on reputation/past trophies won etc. I have seen numerous examples of managers of teams who are lower half/relegation battling (which is either on par or slightly below media predictions of where they would finish) yet they get poached for jobs from teams in the league above. Gks are incredibly unpredictable this year too, to do with the xG overperformance I assume, I have a Gk who is a top 5 keeper in the league, got good consistency and big game player yet every 3 games will ship 4/5 with numerous between his legs, outside the box, straight at him etc. And finally player ratings are very unrealistic compared to the ME imo. If my Gk is on a 6.6 and a shot goes straight under him, or a weak long shot goes in I would want his rating to go down to a 6.3/6.2 at least rather than the 6.5 it usually falls down to. This is rather nitpicky and is probably to do with the technical ME stuff that doesn't always align with what is being shown perhaps but it is quite jarring. The commentary for the goal always seems to attribute the mistake to a player who wasn't really at fault or completely ignores the player who made a much bigger error. The difference between the beta and now is extremely little. I know there is a patch coming early Dec but for some of the most recurring issues that are being talked about for this game to not even be solved by this date is just a bit of a joke really. Will not be buying Fm at launch again, lesson learnt.
