Yeah i hear ya that interactions is a bit funny and off, but the game is trying to create man management as its a major skill of being a manager. They haven't got it 100% right but constantly praising players will get them annoyed. Same way if someone kept praising you at work every two mins you would get annoyed. I personally only praise a player after a hattrick of 15+ saves etc and occasionally for training if morale is dropping to avoid the above situation.

Can confirm i had my usual penalty taker but one wide in A Shootout Semi final the UEL. So missed do happen even in the top flight

Hey guys as mentioned in a few different topics managing Paris 13 Atletico (in France) I know in England that the under 19s (and 23s) get invited to a league to play in every year. Also know that if you start low down they eventually get invited as they move up . In France - Paris 13 under 19s dont start in a league and well I'm just starting s9 (been in the top flight 4 years) and still no invite to be part of the 19s being part of the youth leagues in France. Have started doing friendlies every year for the 19s now. Is there anyway to get the 19s into a league> or is this something that just happens because they basically no history in real life and there 1st year in fm? Is this a bug? Anyone else experiencing this? I can send screenshots of the 19s fixtures when I'm home- Dont mind starting a fm topic at work :P

yeah this is my issue- im getting 6.2-6.5 ratings and the ball playing defender hasnt done anything wrong. I did find acutall Central defenders worked better for match rating. Yeah i find this as well if they dont score or assist even with a clean sheet it will be a 7.2-6.8, No asking for oh clean sheet he should get a 9 but 7.5-8 would be nice. yeah success does indeed, what roles you using for the back 4 and the gk (or back 5/3)

will say the guys above are the best players at my club atm and are getting regular downward arrows in training. But as mentioned seems live CA redistribution. Thanks for the response

yeah will keep an eye out on the development tab- much more a visual person when i see the arrows. Do find a lot more downward Red arrows throughout seasons more than previous FMs. Does that mean there is more Redistribution done in game this year?? thanks for the replies as always guys <3

hey lads thanks for the input! - Deffs think its just the CB Ball playing defender roll. Move to CB for the 2nd half of the year and had good match ratings throughout most games. Do agree height etc matters to the rating. Seems like for ball playing defenders they need to be making key passes for good ratings. (never had this issue on previous fms) Ratings are overrated- I agree as long as the pts are on the board <3 (will say i get quiet obsessive with match ratings same way i get obsessive with my squad numbers ha)

See i would disagree anything below is a 6.8 is sup par and consider meh to poor form but the game, so i would beg to differ, 6.8 up is okay, just completely disagree how match ratings are done Since this post as well have move to two cbs and getting 6.8+ even while conceding

Especially Ball playing defenders (youll be 3-0 up) 80th min opps had 2 chances both cbs onm a 6.5- usually conceded 90th+ min as standard this year As such Cbs never get a good rating unless the score and as such never develop?? Any one else noticing this Since the patch this has been a big pet peeve of mine. In both examples below, I have either conceded a Pen which is why the XG is High for the opp or I have dominated and given up less than a .5xg (kinda means the defensive have bossed it) Match ratings less than 7.0 (6.5 no mistake for kana in one of them) Just doesnt make any sense, another thing broken with this game...................

Hey everyone, I wanted to know if everyone else is suffering from players decline during saves instead of developing. 8 season into a Paris 13 Atletico save- Have upgraded the training facilities to excellent finally in position to build for the future. Everyone 2 months or so all my potential 5 star players even though they are playing (all aged between 18-24) Stop developing, start declining even though they are playing regular mins (most are 1st choice players) and are training over a 7.5 + 90% of the time throughout the season. There Potential drops and there is nothing i can do to change about it. I have never had an issue developing players, completed a youth only save** (some slight rules to that) Last year with 1860 and players developed just fine. Anyone else having this issue Here are some screenshots about facilities a couple of players etc. (Had to sell my 19 year old rb who came 3rd in nxgn last year cause he went from 11 crossing and dribbling to 9 and 9 and declined everywhere else. went from 5 start pot to 3.5) this year's game makes no sense.
