Simply happened, because it's brand new game and inside the game was happened different events. 

Yeah, unfortunately it looks like it was a one time thing. Played a few more games afterwards and got back to the old ways. Was a bit excited as I thought it got fixed, but I guess it's somewhat a good sign that pressing was working, even though for a short while.

Just wondering, is there such thing as shadow updates for this game? I rage quit one game last night and after playing today with the same setup, all of a sudden my players were pressing a bit more than usual.

[Unrealistic amount of VAR checks for clearly clean tackles]

 

Aplogies if the wording of the title is wrong, but I started noticing in my most recent games that there are a lot of VAR checks for penalties - most of which seem like clean tackles on first sight and shouldn't even be considered as penalties.

 

01:18 -  Dembele gets cleanly tacked by one of the Real Valladolid players. Referee stops the play  and goes for a VAR check for a penalty.

6:05 - Barba does a clean slide tackle on Messi - Messi even remains on his feet and continues pressing. Referee goes for a VAR check again.

21:00 - Another , on first sight, clean tackle from Toni Villa on Dembele - again Dembele remains on his feet.

36:24 - Toni Villa misses with the sliding tackle ,gets up, and goes for another tackle on Dembele , which is clean.  Referee goes for a VAR check again.

Second Half:

46:12-  Messi is in between 2 players during a corner kick. Hard to tell if any pushing is going on. Referee does a check and awards the first penalty from 5 checks so far.

50:13 -  Not for a penalty, but Umtiti gets fouled outside the box, which in most case would've been awarded as  free kick without VAR checks.
