I've just reverted to playing FM touch and simulating all games until this shambles of a ME is fixed

I'm just about to give up on FM 20, the amount of times i see players not play a simple ball across to their teammate to tap in for a goal is stupidly high. Wingers just cut in and shoot from stupid angles, i'm actually done. Fix this crap ffs  

[Error code 1000]

Whenever I try to access the FMT downloads section to add something to my game it never works. Error code 1000 keeps coming up even though everything else is connected and working through steam. Is there a fix to this because it's quite annoying.
