I know that this topic has been beaten to death,but has there been any ETA of the fix or whether it's coming this year at all?

Been delaying starting a save for 3 weeks becuase of this,would be nice to know if there's any point in waiting,

[Forcing a youth team manager to play certain players in certain poisitions]

My u19 manager keeps playing my wonderkid defender in a right wingback position even though he is a natural in central defending and only "makeshift" in wingback,pointlessly wasting CA by making a player learn a position he's never going to be used in.This has already happened to 5-6 of my B team players in a 2 season long save.My AMC prospect randomly being played as a left back,central midfielders being put as central defenders for some reason.

 

I've selected players manually for youth teams,but they just reselect them and put them in seemingly random positions.The whole point of youth teams is to prepare young players to someday play proffesional football and an A team manager should have the last say in who's being played where and I assume it's like that in real life.

 

Is there any way to fix this problem besides taking full control of youth teams and having to watch their games,because that just seems extremely unrealistic.
