  1. As I said before, though I may not have said it very well, that will not work (I tried it) as all the players will be of a low quality regardless of team reputation.
  2. That was what I was talking about, those generated players are capped at 130 PA.

My understanding is that randomly generating players through the pre-game editor have a cap of 130PA, so you would need someone to have manually and inidividually created a new replacement for every player in the world. However, I'm the same as you and love to play with new, unique, game generated players. What I instead do for my main save every year is sim 20 years into the future, such that every player is a newgen, but the teams still remain balanced and realistic, and then I choose a giant of the real world that has fallen the farthest! If you want, I do still have my save from before I joined a team, simmed to 2040, and I could find a way to send it your way if you want!
  4. Also, the second 'Use licensed kits' is ticked in game for the affected teams, this problem is fixed. That would be fine, but I plan on playing multiplayer and also do not have the in-game editor, so using some sketchy little third-party program to fix this on both ends like I am currently would be a real pain. Another thing to note is this is a converted FM22 editor file, and all my teams were created in FM22, so that could also be the reason.
  5. I've been working on a database with a custom nation, and considering it's my first time, it's going pretty well! However, one thing has been giving me trouble. I have been generating making custom kits and badges for my teams and learned that you can create a custom filepath for each kit and badge to avoid the need for a kitpack. It has worked well for me, but there are a few teams, 3 of the 11 I have so far, where the kits refuse to show up in game. This also happened when I tried to make a kit pack for the same teams, which was the whole reason I learned of this alternate method in the first place. I fixed the kitpack issue when I learned that the affected teams somehow had 'licensed kits' disabled while it was enabled for the rest. Then, when I went into the 'Pictures' tab on the pre-game editor club screen, I saw what was different. This is a working team, as you can see there are supplied directories for the icon, logo, and all 3 kits, and this team's kit shows up in game. This team, however, does not recieve the directories. There are no functional differences, they both are in the same league, same database, no major differences in their UID, made around the same time the same way as each other. They even have the same number of kits, though this does affect some teams with 2 and some with 3 kits. My only theory I have is that it may be possible I originally based the affected teams' kits off of a use of the 'Generate Random Kits' button? I don't even know if that's the case for sure though, I created these teams last year! My best guess is there's some random hidden "Is licensed kit" checkmark that is used by the devs, and somehow randomly generating a kit for a custom team ticks that mark accidentally...Any help is appreciated!
  6. Also, other Basque teams are having the same issue. The post is bloated enough with screenshots as is, so I won't toss any more in, but I can see that every Basque club has a few of these players - born in Basque Country, but lacking the nationality. Real Sociedad, for example, has about 10 of these players.

I did have a save before an intake, and I thought it was the one involving Pedro Perez, but I realize now he had already been at the club for a year, which means that I have not been at the club while any of these players have generated. Maybe it's just an issue that occurs to an AI-run Bilbao? I will report back if I have a broken player generate at the club during my tenure. Having another look at the players, there is one that generated wrong while I was playing - a player that was poached from my academy, born in Bilbao and poached by Real Sociedad, generated without Basque nationality. Unfortunately, the save I do have was from before my intake but after Sociedad's, and as such the player was already in the game at the point of the save.
  8. I have started a save with Athletic Bilbao in FM23, where I simmed to the year 2040. Of course, all players on the side are now newgens, and all, of course, Basque. However, there are a couple exceptions. I have one player in my starting lineup, and a few youth players with significant potential, that generated without Basque nationality. They all were born in cities in the Basque Country, but unfortunately are not considered Basque and therefore I am forced to lose them on a free. The fact that home-grown talent who trained for a Basque Country club are traditionally able to be signed by the team regardless of Basque heritage, yet this is seemingly not represented in the game, makes this bug more annoying. All of them generated at the club through the youth intake. I also had a short beta save with Athletic Bilbao, and though I did not play long enough to see any issues, having gone back into the save I can see that it had the same issue with a few youth players, so presumably this issue is extant through all saves with the club. It seems somewhere around 5-10% of players generate broken like this.
