    With the introduction of positional play in FM24, I was always looking to create some sort of 4-4-2, because, to me, that is the ideal defensive structure. I looked at your 4-4-2 and tried it out for a couple of matches, and it just didn't feel entirely right, mainly because of the CM(a), who felt disconnected from the '4' in the defensive phase. With that in mind, I made a change and the two central midfielders became two defensive midfielders with the CM(a) becoming a SV(a).

    You could do support on the side of CM(s) and attack on the side of the DLP.

    If you want a 2-3-5, you probably have to use a Libero to step forward and be a part of the "3". Also, the BBM will move forward and be part of the "5". You could make him a standard CM(s), and he would then be part of the "3" with the DLP and L. 2: WCB's 3: L, DLP, CM 5: WB's, SS, DLF, AF Make sense?

    It says on Steam that the game updated in April. I don't know if that could be something. I don't know about any lnc or xml files in the game library?

    I had faces on, but they dissapeared, and now I can't get them on again. I think it's because of the missing three letters, becaue the RTF file ends up looking like this.

    Yes, I tried that. I also tried with Nation of Birth instead of Nationality and it didn't help. I don't know why the three letters won't appear. They do with you, right?

    I actually have no clue.

    When I reset everything in Preferences, my squad looks like this, and as you can see, there are three letters next to the nation. Perfect. I then go into Scouting and select "General Info" (same page as in my squad), and it looks like this with no letters next to the nation. It's the exact same columns seleceted for the view. It's "Nationality (General)".

    Yes, I did that and still nothing.

    I can make the column very wide and still no letters.

    Thanks for trying. I don't know what to do anymore. I think I have tried almost everything. I even tried deleting the folder with logos for the Nations. The result was that the flag dissapeared but nothing else showed up, the column was just empty.

    Cached cleared. Nothing has changed. I have no clue what has happened.

    Hello all, I have no clue if this is the place to ask, but somehow I've run into this problem, and I think it is why I all of a sudden can't get the pretty faces on all the newgens. As you can see in the picture above, there is a flag at both "Nationality" and "2nd Nationality". The problem is that with the "2nd Nationality" there is the three letters next to the flag, but with "Nationality" there is not. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    I would, as Cloud9 also suggests, change Bissouma's role and duty to either BBM(s), CM(a) or MEZ(s/a) to trigger a positional rotation and make him be a part of the '5' in the 3-2-5. With both an IFB(d) and W(s) on his side, I don't believe you have to be conservative with his duty and you could easily go for CM(a).

    But the DLP won't push up the field, either. The CM(a), MEZ(s/a), BBM, RPM and AP(s/a) will do that. I think it'll do just fine. You could also use the BWM(s) or CM(s) to make the "2". Or that is, at least, what I think.

    Something like this might be what you are looking for then. The MEZ(s) could also be a simple BBM.

    You can achieve the 3-2 build up shape with every single formation with the positional rotations. So what kind of starting point do you wish?

    Is there any chance you can share your views from this save? I absolutely love them, and I can't seem to figure out how to make them identical to yours.
