[Help with changing a nation's continental competition]

Hey! So I tried to do this, and the editor is just black. I uninstalled and reinstalled the archiver and the editor and did this gain, but no lucm. Any help please?

i looked at the file in the fm20 editor and it shows no new nations were added in the file but in your screenshots it has multiple nations not in the basegame, how come?

I've been trying to make it where I was able to change a nation's continent in the editor following the steps in https://community.sigames.com/topic/419159-new-nation/?tab=comments but when I do the steps, the editor is just a black screen and nothing else. I can wait for like half an hour and nothing happens, and the only way to restore it [fm20 editor] to normal is pasting in the original comp editor.fmf file and replacing the edited one. Any help please?

i tried the steps in the original post for fm20 but now when i do the steps nd try to open the fm20 editor, the app is just black, and nothing loads/happens.
