I'd imagine that deleting match score area panel.xml from the match folder will revert you to the original and, as such, remove this issue for you. I can't say for certain but that's because I've never actually managed in the EFL with this skin!

Just tried this and no luck unfortunately, do you have any other ideas for things I could change? I wouldn't have the slightest clue what to try, thanks anyway though!

    Hi.

Is there anyways to change the score and home team background colour for the scoreboard. I have added an image below which shows my problem.IMG_0095.jpeg.7b20158edbf6eed379fc14274128dffc.jpeg

this only happens with the statman skin, which is a shame as I really enjoy using it. Is there any fixes which you could help me with ?

sorry if this has been asked before

Hi, loving the skin so far also!

I too am having this problem though and was hoping somebody knew of a way to fix this please?

  3. Is there any way you can add future injuries in the pre-game editor or as the season goes on using the in-game editor? I've searched this forum and on google in general and have found people mentioning it but none of them actually have a response. I'm wanting to play as the club I support, who have had a large amount of injuries throughout the season and I'm wanting to make it more realistic

  4. I've deleted all of the lines, and 'saved as' the new file as an .fmf file and loaded it into football manager. All of the changes to the club have loaded in properly but the changes in advanced rules haven't (or at least arent displayed on League -> Rules -> Match rules in game.

The changes I made to the national league were:

Min number of homegrown players (0-21) in match squad = 2

    Max wage = £1,000,000 p/y

Kkrlenjushka gave a really handy tip in one of these threads that I've found works well.

Export the unverified file and then open the XML file in notepad or similar.

Search for a line containing 'verf'. This is sometimes the first line, sometimes near the end.

Delete this entire line as shown. Then, simply save the file and load FM, and you should be able to load the file without issues.

A word of warning, as you've forced verification, your game may crash if the file is unstable. Much more difficult to diagnose problems this way, but as you say, if there are bugs with things you haven't touched it should load fine.

Cheers for the reply, I have 7 total 'verf' in my document, all of which I have put below. 6 of them are together at the start (lines 21-42) whereas the other is on line 42757. I'm guessing it's the last one that needs deleting?

  6. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I have searched and could not find anything that was useful.

I am using the updated database from sortitoutsi and have made a few changes to the club that I want to manage, and I'm also looking to add some squad rules to the division (max salary, home grown players in match squad etc.). I have managed this but when trying to test the nation rules I keep getting the error message: "Premier league development league, number of teams in competition (23) doesn't match expected number of teams from rankings (20). The only changes I have made are to the club info and the squad rules, nothing to do with seeding/number of clubs in a division.

I have had this issue in the past and have tried to fix it myself by changing the required teams to the number expected from the error message. This works but I then get another message saying the same thing but for all of the U23 leagues and all of the leagues below national league north/south.

Is there a way to fix this?

  7. Hi, I am looking for someone to help me make a few changes to a public database found here: https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update

The team that I want to manage are in the national league, where the transfer window is open all season. I usually play by ticking the disable first season transfer window, which makes it difficult with this team as it means that the window is closed for the entire first season. I have tried to do this myself in the editor but I keep getting errors with the amount of teams in a competition when testing rules.

If someone could change the advanced rules so that there were 2 windows in the first season only, the first starting on the 9th June 2020 and ending 1st Jan 2021 (this will be the one that is disabled), and the other starting on 2nd Jan 2021 and ending on 29th March 2021. After this, the window will resume as normal (ie. 1 window from 9th June-29th March).

    Thanks in advance

Just realised see where my line of though went wrong. This is not  a maximum wage for the league, but for only for incoming TRANSFERS. There should something of a max wage down in the leagues themselves as well (I think).

that makes sense, have you found where to do that? I've checked fixture rules and havent seen anything so I'm not too sure where it might be

I created the advanced rules for a few nations (France, England, Spain, Germany, Italy)

In the Nation sections, there is a part that is called Transfers. Under transfers you will find Tranfers Rules. Halfway the page there are the maximum player wage rules.

I am still experimenting with them, so don't know if they work as intended or how quick it works.

One thing that I don't for instance is what happens when a team has more players over the wage limit. Do they get punished? It doesn't seem to happen when you have max amount of foreign player rules in place and I would love to be able to fine teams for that for instance.

I've been playing with this for a while now, and I put the max. wage as £1,400 p/w per player, with 2 players exempt and can have a maximum wage of £1,600. This works - I can't offer any player more than £1,600 p/w but I can offer EVERY player £1,600, even though I set it to 2 players. I am also yet to notice any punishments for doing so

How do you have it in mind? I am planning on doing some balancing via max salary, so might be able to help you with my work.

Was thinking of just having a cap of something like £27,500 for VNL, £55,000 for L2 and £80,000 for L1, and haven't really thought about Championship or Prem yet as I couldn't even add the lower leagues. Ideally I'd have the salary cap as a % of the clubs income, but I'm not sure if thats actually possible?

I'm just really looking for a way to make playing with my club a lot more fun, as currently I gain promotion from the VNL in the first season pretty much every time, yet in reality we've been relegation contenders for the last 2 seasons
