Season 7 The board expected to avoid relegation. I was hopeful of going up but I'm actually pretty ok with finishing 7th. I did the best I've ever done in the cups and I even made the final of the Southern League Cup which I should have won but wasn't to be. Attendances went up but my finances are still a struggle. My board deny everything apart from surprisingly my coaching courses. I am going to be fully certified in 1 year when hopefully I enter the Conference National South League. Going for a squad and staff rebuild so we shall see how it goes.

Season 6 So back to back promotions and things are finally starting to gel. We won the league with 5 games to go, so that was definitely our best season. Finances are still terrible and more rumors of another take over. The original 5 year loans will be ending soon so thats two less payments going out. Northwood are coming up with us and we actually share their ground. Average attendances are 120 in a 3500 capacity stadium so I doubt we will be moving any time soon.

Season 5 No bottling of the season this time although did get knocked out of the Counties Cup in the 1st round. Signed a new contract in the January till the end of next season. I always try and push my wages up. So now I am on $150 per week a $30 pay rise. I'm excited to move up to this next league and hopefully can sign my players to semi-pro contracts instead of non contracts so I don't lose my players as easy. The rebuild is on!

Season 4 is over and we bottled it!. Finished 3rd in the end and made it to the playoff final to absolutely hammer the other team and still got beat 2-0. So a second year in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North is what waits and the board expect playoffs. I'm going to take a good look at the team and release some players and try and strengthen the team. I'm not having the success I was hoping for but I am enjoying the experience so far.

Season 3 is over and my first full season with Spartan Youth. The way it started I was thinking I was in for the same problems as last season but I managed to climb my way back up the table to finish 2nd. Even though we beat Brook House twice this season they were just too far ahead for us to catch. We had our second takeover but no investment and another bank loan. Still living in my car as $80 a week won't get me anywhere. Hoping on back to back promotions so I can generate more income and get some more fans coming to watch the games. I must have had 30 clubs coming in for my best players but thankfully they decided to stay with me. I have had 100% rejections on every board request I made, don't know why I bother but I still will.

This season we had a board takeover but no investment and no money. They even took out a $16k loan. The board wanted me to not finish bottom and on the final game of the season I managed a win to move me up to 2nd bottom. Going to totally revamp the squad and shift some of this dead weight. With an average attendance of 49, I am not sure where I am going to get any money from. I need a good cup run but not sure how much money that would actually get me!

OK so that didn't go to plan! However, a month later I interviewed and took the first available job from a team that started and is still in Level 10 leagues.

Not my best start to a season. Had no money for wages so I struggled to find anyone who wanted to sign for $20 per game. The board expected me to get promoted so finishing 7th is no bueno and I have to get 8pts in my first 5 games of next season to keep my job. Shouldn't be a problem but you never know! Got to the quarter finals in the United League Cup but no points for me this season. However I did get the manager of the month for April so that is something!

Going to give this a go!

Not the best season overall but champions none the less. Not sure why my average attendance went down but we moved stadiums due to league rules, so it's further away but other than that, not sure. PTS Average Attendance 22/23 North West Counties League Division 1 South 1st 38 31 4 3 134 42 92 97 210 I got knocked out of the North West Counties League Cup in the 1st Round on Penalties by Winsford Utd and I reached the 4th round of the FA Vase before again being knocked out on penalties, this time by Avro. The board asked if I wanted to turn Semi-Pro which I agreed. May help keep some of my players longer as less likely to be stolen away. Also the league is making us add 200 seats to the stadium costing $28k (pounds but can't be bothered finding the pound symbol). The bank gave us a 5 year loan for the upgrade. Points for winning the league - 15pts - Total so far - 15pts

So I have started with Wythenshawe Amateurs in the North West Counties League Division 1 South - Tier 10 and I'm raring to go!

Have you tried playing away? I'm Australia and not many teams want to travel so far to play. However, if I choose to play away from home then they seem to accept the friendly.
