  1. Looking in the pre-game editor (screenshot), it appears 20 teams are added to the Irish Senior Challenge Cup Preliminary Round who play 10 games. The 10 winners are added to the 22 teams entering the First Round to make 32 total. This makes a total of 42 teams invovled. In real-life, the format involves 20 teams added to the Preliminary Round who play 8 matches, meaning 4 teams get a bye to the First Round. The byes are just the 4 teams who were not drawn, there is no pre-draw awarded byes. This means a total of 12 teams progress to join the 20 teams added in the First Round, meaning a total of 40 teams are involved in the competition. Below is the draw of the 2023 edition as an example. https://www.fai.ie/domestic/news/draw-for-fai-mens-senior-cup-2023-preliminary-round-confirmed As well as this, the 20 teams involved in the Preliminary Round are based off performances in the Irish Intermediate Cup (Last 16 teams) and Irish Junior Cup (Semi-Finalists). As these cups are not active in the game, are the teams involved just random teams from the levels outside the Irish Premier and First Divisions?
  2. In 2022, there was a change to the format of the Irish U19 National League. At present, the game has an older format where the top 4 of both groups then go into a knockout phase to determine the winner (included in screenshot). As detailed below on pages 2 (in screenshot as well) and 7, teams play 1 round of fixtures in Phase 1 and then 2 rounds in Phase 2, with Phase 2 including a Tier 1 (where the overall winners are found) and Tier 2 (where the team with the highest points total are Shield Winners) https://cms.sseairtricityleague.ie/sites/default/files/inline-files/EA Sports National Underage Leagues Fixtures 2022.pdf There were some small alterations to the format for the 2023 season to account for the addition of 2 more clubs. Teams still play 1 round of fixtures in Phase 1, but 4 teams in each group progress to Phase 2 Tier 1 (8 total) while 7 play in their respective groups Phase 2 Tier 2 (14 total). Both Tiers in Phase 2 involve 2 rounds of fixtures. https://www.extratime.com/competition/2126/582/2023/
  3. The Irish Promotion/Relegation Final is not taking place at a Neutral Venue as it does in real-life, although the First Division Promotion Final is. Teams are instead playing at Home for this match. Looking in the pre-game editor, I think this is due to the Fixture Date for the Final being set to "Home" as oppossed to "Neutral". Any other reference to the Promotion/Relegation Final is set to "Neutral", yet the match is still being played as a "Home" game.
  4. I have checked this and have used the dates from the Premier Division for their split (12 teams play 22 games, split into 2 groups of 6 teams where they play each other twice) but the same error message is still appearing. Im guessing there must be some issue with the set up then, but im not sure what is causing this. Im not sure how else to get around this issue
  5. I have been attempting to make the 3rd and 4th levels of Austrian football playable, with an as accurate format as possible. There are 3 relegation spots from the Austrian First Division (2nd level) with there being 5 (technically 6) divsions below. The promotion spots are assingned as so: Regional East: 1 Auto Promotion Spot Regional Central: 1 Auto Promotion Spot Regional West: 1 Auto Promotion Spot The Regional West is made up from 6 teams (2 each from Regional Salzburg, Regional Tyrol, and Elite League Vorarlberg; each league plays 2 rounds of fixtures where top 2 qualify for Regional West) who then play 2 rounds with the winner being promoted. I think I have been able to get the format structure to work as intended, but the error message "Austrian Regional League West has not finished in time for season update day" is appearing. I have tried to find a way to fix this, but have been unable to. Does anyone have an idea about how to fix this? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated Austria Lower Leagues.fmf
  6. In reference to your comment about the regionalliga promotion in Austria, ive been trying to find a file with real-life promotion/relegation format. Do you know any?
