Is there any explanation why my player stands still after making a tackle/interception in the box, resulting in the opposition scoring? Defensive AI is honestly a joke in the game Vitória de Guimarães v Esperança de Lagos.pkm

This has been an issue for years and years and quite frankly Im tired of seeing it on my screen. For the first Benfica goal Nduka receives the ball facing his own goal with a clear option to pass to his keeper, instead of playing the pass he just stands there as 3 players press him. What conceivable reason is there for him to do this? Why has this issue been a constant way for big teams to artificially score goals vs smaller ones in game? Its nonsensical/ Benfica v Esperança de Lagos.pkm

My player in the second arsenal goal just stands around for a full second when he's got 2 passing options and the opposition is about to press him. Distance between Morato and Maguire is all over the place, they both slow down a **** ton when the ball is played in behind and Vitinha is the only one who reacts to it. This really needs to be fixed. these types of through balls are seemingly undefendable for the AI. I think for one of the other goals as well, to at least for a chance the players get the ball and dont move for a solid 3 seconds while the attackers close them down to nick the ball out their feet and have a shot on goal for free. This has been in the game for years but feels way more common in the match engine atm Man Utd v Crystal Palace.pkm

For the second Southampton goal, Mitchell's pace slows down dramatically to allow che Adams to get to the ball and cross it in to Belotti who is unmarked for some weird reason. This has been an issue for the past few years, really since they made the playing time pathways thing. When renegotiating a contract you cant change their playing time to entice players to want to join you. I feel like this a very obvious oversight.
