It's just how football evolved. The era of tiki taka and short passes is gone. Just look at football teams now and you will notice how much they relay on crosses. Also in previous fm editions crossing was so weak i think finally we have the reflection of real football.

Just why is SI changing good things? I mean regen faces were better in fm 15 then 7 years later. And player devloplment the same. Just crazy...

The same happaned with 20 or 21 year old players its not about the age i gave this only as example.
I don't want to argue but i just want to say now there is no realistic chance to fulfill player full potential and in previous years there was realistic chance and thats all. There is nothing we can do but this is a FACT and you will also notice this after some time of playing believe me.
Stay strong bro and believe me i am playing this game for more than 15 years, i look at it in a complex way and when i say some complainment i say it after a long analysis.

Players can develop 2 or 3 attributes per year and yet we see SI changes player attributes drastically after one good year in real life ?
Like i said i had close to perfect conditions do develope players.

-Determination 16, work rate 13, proffesionalism 14 and ambition 14
-avarage rating in both competitions more than 7.0
- all staff more than 4 and half stars, facilities 4 stars.
He developed only one attribute in more than a year and you want to say it is realistic now?
And i can give you so many examples like this. You want to say it's realistic not to have a chance to develope players?
Like i said this is the best ME ever but this is destroying the game.

No it was not. It was very realistic and it gave us a legitimate chance to develop players full potential.
Now it looks almost impossible. It's not about facilities like i said i gave them regular starter playing time, with best coaches, with good ratings, a lot of assist and goals, with good training schedule designed to develop some key stats, they had good level of proffesionalism amition and determination. They played in euro cup final and i won title in premier league, but still nothing, maybe 2 attributes per year. It's ridiculous.

Player development slower than previous years and it's a fact!
First of all i want to say thank you SI for this beautifull match engine. Honestly i enjoyed it like never before and i have been playing this game for more than 15 years and it's been a big part of my life. I even think number of crosses and headers is reflection of things we see in real life. In my opinion there is no reason for change and variation of goals we see in fm 22 is perfection, there is such a nice balance between headers, lobs, placed shots, set pieces goals, fortunate goals etc etc.
Unfortunetly in my opinion the biggest problem this year is players development. Something is wrong without a doubt. I have 4 stars facilities, i have all coaches in all categories with at least 4 and a half stars. My players are perfoming amazingly in training with rating more than 9. I am playing in Premier league, i am playing in latter stages of european competitions. Player ratings, game time and personalities of my players are amazing. So i have almost perfect conditions to develope players and with my experience from so many years of playing it is so easy to compare things and notice that you made some mistake this year and you changed something. For me the biggest satisfaction of playing fm is player development espescially because every save that i play lasts at least 10 or 15 seasons.
Anyone else noticed this?
Where should i report this?

Thanks on answer mate. But there is a huge difference between these two. Base dark skin is easy to change and simple to understand for amateur like me, and light skin this year is completley different.
There are no folders in light skin and everything is one document so its almost impossible for me to see how to change for example player profile panel.
In previous years i just copied for example player profile panel from one skin that i like to normal light skin and that was all. Simple.

But i have a huge problem that i need to fix, in third photo you can see, for some reason in the box for transfer fee it is immposible to see number, value of transfer, you must click, the same happens with contract negotiating. Thanks mate but i already found that part, and there i can only change number colours. for example if finishing is 17 only 17 numbers colour i can change,

Guys i am very close to create light skin but i need someones help because i am doing this for the first time.
i have two questions and after this i will put the skin here for download for everyone who miss light skins,
First question can someone please tell me where can i change the colour of attribute names. I am using fm base for creation of skin but can't find where i can change colour of attributes. Not numbers of course, but words like- finishing, tackling, etc etc. I changed everything else and the text suits light skins.
Also how can i change background to be completly white? when i put white background only upper part is white and the rest is still black.
Sorry if i made to many english mistakes. I would really appriciate if someone can help me.

Especially in competative leagues where teams have similar quailty. Also it will prevent things that happend in the past when you after 3 seasons create a team that is destroying everyone and than that makes game boring.
On the other hand i agree sometimes i have a feeling that the game doesn't allow me to beat smaller sides with weak teams.
I am creating chances i am better on the pitch but when i have 2 or 3 wins in a row, i have a feeling that it is impossible to continue good run no metter who is playing against me. Sometimes it is like random result.
I don't know what to say. But i also notices that when you create partnership between players and improve team cohension you can expect more consistent result and matches.

Very strange. My players can't miss. I think last 25 penalties i scored 24... And my penalty taker has 14 attribute for penalty.

4. One on one conversion in FM is very high and unchanged from beta. In real life a one on one opportunity contributes to around 35% of goals scored, with a 50% conversion rate. Our conversion rate is higher.
5. Just to reiterate - there were no changes to one on ones, passing, shooting etc at all from beta to live.
6. We don't just use stats to assess ME balance. We have multiple testers constantly playing matches, some of which are qualified coaches. We are working on a number of identified issues that we've assessed internally, but none were new issues from after the beta.

I just came to appologies. I gave a game more chance, i reacted with too much passion because like i said the game is huge part of my life.
I went from Beta save in Premier league to league 1 with Peterborough after full version so it was obvious that there is a huge difference in quality of players and game. I had a bad partnership in defence, and low quailty players so that was the reason why i dind't have these beautifull actions, passes, lobs, shots like in beta. I am in second season now after promotion and with 3 signing everything looks different and much better. The game is not easy like in beta and i respect that and love it, more competative league is always better and more interesting.

Stats dont tell it all, but if you come at me with "a huge difference" and its not measurable with any stat you are simply wrong, dont have a relevant sample size or are biased.
So to conclude you have the same feeling now as you had in the beta when you watch a match? You don't see any difference?

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT completely destroyed.
Mentoring- too slow or doesn't work. I have never seen that player mentoring increased players professionalism or determination. It only influence unimportant attributes like pressure loyalty etc etc. I had mentors with significantly influence with more than 200 matches for club and amazing personalities. Also they are in same social group as youngsters and they are at the top of hierarchy. In past versions we could see that young players recieved some of mentors traits. This year i haven't seen this happens even once.
General player development- 16 year old players cant develop a single attribute if they don't start matches. This is so unrealistic. In previous version and in reality training is much more important at this age. 21 year old player Angel Gomes with determination 15, professionalism and ambition 14 ( after welcoming period) had 10 goals and 24 assist in PL, played in almost all Euro cup games and also in final developed only one attribute in more than 400 days. And than i do a Hull city save where 26 year old players with lower determination, proff, amb and avarage rating improved like 10 atrributes in a year in a lower league with worst facilities. I must admit this is the most ridicolous thing i have seen for a long time in fm!
Individual training- Almost no effect and almost every player is complaining that he is unhappy with individual training no matter how low or high is his professionalism or attribute that i want to increase.
Can i please have any information from someone from SI are you working on some changes or you have a plan to leave it like this?
For all people who will say this is better and realistic and it was too fast in previous versions if you compare things and say now it's better than i really don't have any comment. Maybe you are masochist and you enjoy the fact that you can't reach players full potential no matter what you do.
