It's possible. Whilst the stickied guides suggest that you start by mixing things up, they aren't strict rules that you have to adhere to.

I have had a successful 4-2-3-1 and 4-1-2-2-1 where both Complete Wing Backs were on Attack (no other Duty can be selected!), and the Inside Forwards were both on Support.

Hello, still several days away from my computer but have been thinking of making a new start and wondering if it is possible to make a solid tactic that is completely symmetrical? For example, a 4-1-2-2-1 with both left and right sides of the formation having the exact same duties and roles as its counterparts?

Hello, is it redundant to have a player instruction 'pass it shorter' if you already have 'shorter passing' in team instructions, and some other similar instructions?

Hi I have a problem...I am playing a 4-1-2-2-1 with two inside forwards on the wings. When my striker in a CF (a) position gets the ball I would like my wingers to move in into the opposition box but they seem to be staying wide almost on the same line as the CF. When the inside forwards do have the ball, they cut inside though.

Any one got a tactic where wingers + the lone striker score a lot of goals? In most tactics I create, the striker seems to score most of them. I would like a more evenly distribution of goals between the 2 attacking wingers and the striker

Any tips to make my wingers score more goals? I am playing a quick tempo, short passing 4-1-1-3-1 with the AML and AMR being inside forwards with attack duties. I made sure they cut inside and cross rarely but most of the goals have come from the FC (with a complete forward role). My wingers have several assists but they are scoring just a few goals.

I tried to put through balls sliders on sometimes but it didn't help much. Any help would be appreciated
